- Hey everyone! I bought a coral pink nintendo ds lite and I wanted to unbox it with you. This is going to be the start of my pink (mostly handhelds) console collection. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video :)

I have such a special place in my heart for the DS Lite💓 It was my first console ever (the black one🖤) and I just love how many awesome color variants there were to choose from! All my friends had different colored ones, so we always knew which belonged to whom!😄 Your pink one is so pretty!!
Me too!! My first one was a white one and then I got a hot pink one for my bday. Unfortunately I lost both so I don’t have them anymore 😢 I wish I took care of them more

I remember when I was a kid I wanted a pink ds lite so bad cause my cousin had one it’s so pretty 🥺
I remember my Mom telling 9-year old me over and over in the Toys R Us video game section "are you *sure* you want the pink one? the other kids might make fun of you" and I'm so glad tiny me had the confidence to say screw those people I want the pink one anyway. Only downside is I also confidently traded it in at GameStop when the 3DS came out (idiot!). Have been really considering buying a new one for the nostalgia lately.
This was my first ds when I was six!! Wish I never lost it 😢

Lovely color! I recently purchased a pink ds lite like this one in fair condition. This one is in awesome condition! I enjoyed watching :)
The shell seems to be replaced with a new one. I don't think that's possible for 15 years old, used console to be that perfect. But as long as it's a good quality replacement I like it. Some of the cheap ones are semi-transparent because of cheap and thin plastic.

i know im a guy but i really want to get the pink, ice blue, and white just for collection. But I'll probably give them to my nieces and nephews, and i'll get the black one for me, so that we can play together

I got mine from mercari. Some advice I would give is make sure to fully read and look through the seller's accounts and especially the reviews. Always message the seller first and ask any questions that you need to. I try to be specific with the questions if they don't have that information about the product in their description, like scratches or its condition. Sometimes they might say good condition in description but their photos are not clear, or are too far to see, you can ask them for up close photos.

I have a dark blue DS lite my dad got for me on my 14th birthday from Walmart. My first DS game was Sonic Colors which I played frequently during the summer when school was out. I’m 24 years old now and my DS lite is actually 10 years old. It still works perfectly like it does when I got it on my birthday and I still got the charger which also still works. I also have Animal Crossing:Wild World for the DS which I have been playing a lot of on my 2DS. I’ve had my 2DS(which is regular blue) since I was 20 years old which I got from Walmart on layaway and I’ve had Wild World for DS since May 17th of this year. I love both my DS Lite and my 2DS very much.
Seeing this brings nostalgia to when I was a teen playing on my beloved handheld back when I didn’t have a cellphone :3 I love how your nails match your DS Lite. That’s so cute!

where did you buy it? I really want to get the boxed one brand new. I had this model when I was little but I was 9 and left it on the floor- so it got stepped on and destroyed.

Yo I had a Cobalt Blue DS Lite when I was like 7. I was for some reason worried my brothers would take it so I slept with it in my lap one time, woke up and found out I threw off all over it.
Oh nooo! XD I always had to hide any games from my younger sister all the time. She had her own DS Lite and she broke it in half with all the wires out and it still worked after that.
@@nameisbloom Surprisingly lol. My brother had one where the hinges came off, those last generation DS lites were notorious for that. It still worked after that tho.
I just bought a like new onyx black ds lite from a seller on offer up and it was only after taking a look at it that I thought it was fake. I thought it was fake because it had the "made in China" logo on the back of it. But if your ds lite is legit then I guess mine is too since they both have the made in China logo on it.. even if it's not fake and just reshelled I would be extremely sad cause I want everything authentic about it.. so far people on reddit only said to take it apart to see if everything inside is real. But i think the after market re shells have become so close to the real thing that it's impossible to tell if it's authentic or re shelled. It makes me sad because I might never know if this black Nintendo ds is 100% authentic or not. I don't want to take it apart

my older sister had this exact ds when she was like 8 but my brother who was around 5 at the time threw it down the stairs and it broke. it wasnt my ds but it still hurts me to this day LMAO

Seems like one of the screens is not connected properly or broken, which screen flashes when you turn it on? The one that doesn't flash will be the broken one. If neither turn on it could be a problem with the board.

i’m sure there’s a lot of sellers selling it on ebay. that’s where i got mine! it’s refurbished but feels almost new (minus the yellowed stylus). i got it for around £35? ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ
Also don't worry if one of them has a different region DS and DS lite are both region-free, it's DSi and above you need to worry about region
