Thank you for posting this! My pool service wanted to charge me double the price of the cable to fix it for me. I purchased the cable on Amazon and watched your video. Thanks again!

Thanks for this video! With your help I was able to test my power supply, the blue cable and I also checked supply to the dolphin motors! Saved me time and money

The problem with most these Mytronics power supply's. They are not vented. Most of the time they run hot and overheat. Then the MOSFETS chips burn up on the curcuit board.

before you do anything unscrew the swivel snd check the 2 pins inside to make sure the 2 pins go up and down the are spring loaded the one on my s200 were stuck and I sprayed them with wd40 and they popped up and down and work great.

I had almost a $200 replacement cable in my cart and was about to hit the buy button. I figured my cable was so twisted it had to be bad.
Saw this video and decided to pull out the multimeter. Surprisingly, the cable had the right amount of current. The issue was the terminals. Took me two tries with contact cleaner, sandpaper, and a screwdriver but I got it working. Cable is still beat up but it’s working!

I got 16 volts. I assume that means I would need a new cable?

Just ran over my cable with the lawnmower and cut it. Its about 8ft away from the vacuum and still have a lot of slack to the control panel... Any thoughts?

how does the robot know when to start? When you press the power button, I get 29.5v but no change in volts when I press the 1-3 day button which has been the start process (power then day button-robot starts) Thank you for the videos.

If I have a drop from 29.1 at the power unit and 28.1 at the cable end, does that mean it's the cable? Should the cable have the exact sane reading? Thanks

Something is probably wrong a drop of 1.0 volt is quite significant

@DIY GEEK that's been the answer I've mostly gotten. The s200 will start to run for a few seconds and just shut down. Tracks spin freely as does the impeller. So you think that 1.0 drop could be my communication issue possibly?

Hmm my robot just stopped working. But my power supply seems fine. I don't have a multi meter and don't know how to use it

      A multi-meter is only $10 on Amazon: amzn.to/3ilbgsH
A new power cable is $345 on Amazon: amzn.to/3u6Xo83
      I would buy the Multi-Meter first :-)

Could be a jambed up impeller. There is a video here on TH-cam showing how to clean it out, super easy two screws to get to it then one more to take put the impeller. Just did it to mine and it fixed it.
