Omg, I think it's the first time I've seen something much pricier on the US than where I live. The thrustmaster T150 can be comfortably acquired in Europe for 150€
Hi! This wheel is currently 375 USD in my country. You think it's worth it if the only game I will play it on is ETS2/ATS? And do you think I should get the shifter for an extra 40 bucks? Thanks!
Hi! I'd say it depends on how often you play ETS2/ATS. I haven't used my G920 in more than a month as I've been very busy. By the way, how much is a G923? I actually got used to the shifter and I quite like it in games like Assetto Corsa. However, in ETS2, as far as I know, in order to use the shifter, you either need to switch to a 6 speed transmission, or configure an H-Shifter. H-Shifter is quite complicated, and overall not great on a shifter without a 1-2 switch.
@@WhatNowTech the G923 is not yet available in my country sadly and availability of the T150 is very low. So I am stuck with the decision on whether to buy the G29 or not for that price. I do frequently play ETS2 and now I've decided that it's time for me to buy a wheel. Yes you'll need to assign a button to shift up to higher gears in ETS. I also can't get the wheel on a more decent 2nd hand price as no one is selling it unfortunately. I really am stuck with the G29 with no alternative :(
If you can mod the shifter to be sequential id say get the shifter too but only for ets/ats its not really worth it as you will be shifting more than 6 gears
From my understanding, those sets aren't "entry-level" and they cost a lot more. (The cheapest Fanatec bundle for example costs 570 Euros and doesn't come with a shifter)

logitech g20 with the logitech shifter tomorrow
You mean g29?
2 options? More like 10+ options, Fanatec and Simucube and others
From my understanding, those sets aren't "entry-level" and they cost a lot more.

@@WhatNowTech logitech doesn't come with a shifter either duh. And fanatec is all metal unlike logitech.
@@SIMRIG412, the g920 can be bought for $240, the fanatic is 500$, not everyone has $500 to spend on sim wheels
No, g29 is not better. They are the same
They are technically the same, but the G29 has more buttons!
