Good review. And your issues were spot on. We have a group of riders that have these and we've broken many parts on these bikes. That said, you get what you put into them. After running a couple of these into the ground we took the others and threw some upgrade kits on them, battery, controller, bars, etc. We now have these little monsters hitting near 55mph and pulling out of corners better than our TT-R110E's. It's pure insanity what you can do to these things. No different than what we've done to our Razors. Bottom line for us is that we don't buy these things and expect them to perform out of the box and neither should anyone else if they're experienced riders. Out of box, they're best for little ones who want something to huck themselves with. And what it comes with, is perfect for them. However when us adults got a hold of them, and started adding upgrades, I have to say, these pits shred and are no longer kid friendly. I mean they can be depending on how hardcore your kid is, but honestly, I don't let my little ones ride mine anymore unless they're dialed way down. Already had one of my kids run into my truck pulling backside. Great review man. Keep up the good work.
Liking the videos. I got the same bars you had suggested and by chance I put those same brakes on too. Getting rid of the power cut out when braking makes it feel so much better, and just dragging the brake a little bit gives more control for those slow turns I was on about before. I am also making some brackets for the pegs inspired by what you did. Look forward to how the controller upgrade helps the performance and that dodgy throttle lag issue.
Thanks, I’m just waiting on the controller and motor to ship. Make sure to replace the factory bolts with actual grade 10.9 bolts. The foot peg bolts will have a little more stress on them when moving them back.

How did you get rid of the power cut when braking? I’m about to get one of these bikes and have experienced that power cut on other electric vehicles and I hate it
@@joetroy2904 there is a second cable from the brakes that runs to the controller. Just follow the cable and disconnect it. Or as I did change the brakes and the ones I put on don't have the cable any way. Put some electrical tape over the connectors you have unplugged from each other.
If you upgrade the controller to a Fardriver you will get a lot more power out of that battery and you can smooth out the throttle responce- thanks for your video. Agreed on the charging port, my sons one is buggered from falls- can barely charge now
These defiantly need a controller upgrade. The stock controller throttle response sucks and at times seems to lag when you partially let off and give it more throttle again. Yes I’ve messed with the knobs to adjust this. For the budget the bike is ok
Ive got 100 miles on my ebox 2.0 its a perfect match for dad and son on a mx650 for nature trails. Sneaking up and experiencing nature. It can be played with some hooning but not really meant for that. Ps dad is 190lbs
where did you purchase the 2.0 at? I can only find pre-orders for PayPal, or out of the country(in in USA). OR where would you recommend a person order it from?
To start with, I would actually recommend buying a used Sur Ron over this bike. BUT if you are buying for a kid or just have to have this bike, I got it from ridestomp.com ridestomp.com/e-box-2-electric-pit-bike.html
The square tube on the lower part of the swing arm might be a bit “stronger”. Let’s not kid ourselves, these are cheap Chinese bikes that have little to no quality control when being made. The metal being used is subpar at best and doesn’t look 👀 to closely at the welds. If be rugged and holding up is important, and you want a small bike, then spend the money for a Greenger. If Honda is willing to put their name on it, then you know it’s at least better than most.
how has it been holding up i was looking into the ebox dragster just for something around town and to go to the store i am not really able to have something gas of i would have a 110 so a gas motor isnt a option for me so got to go electric for the price seems like you cant beat it
When I plugged it in it was at 50%, the led on the charger was red. This morning it was green. Unplugged it, out the key in and turned it. Then the gauge read 80-60-30-0 then blank all in about 2 seconds. I checked the fuse and plugged it back in to get the green led again. I also went through the wires in the harness. I’m just assuming off the green led on the charger it’s full. Thanks for the reply, I’m kind of lost
About the throttle, what if you changed to a tthumb throttle alternative? Although you wouldnt have the same feel, you could have smaller grips, right?
Yeah, I per ordered mine and it was about a month. I will say, it came in right when they said it would. The company is really trying to keep their customers happy.

But it you’re a grown man and you’re trying to ride this and you actually expect it to be what you SHOULD be riding, then you’ve got problems. Bottom line: it’s a bike for your kids but it can be fun to ride if you’re not an egotistical fat-ass expecting it to be a dirtbike. But it for your kids and let them rip around and have fun.

Fix your chain tightness and lubricate it
