I said this in chat during a livestream yesterday, but I’ll say it here too: the fact that people are ignoring MOB Games’s controversies more than ever and are playing poopy playtime again just because it got an update makes me sad, because how much are people willing to ignore just because a game is popular? I want to eventually play Venge at some point as well, because unlike playtime, it actually deserves positive attention and popularity.
Goes without saying, but it's always up to you what action to decide to take when learning a company has done something bad, but I feel the need to at least tell people about it because there are still many poppy playtime fans completely ignorant of what they did.
@apersonontheinternet9085 glitch and gooseworx have been throwing jabs at content farms for a while now, but for some reason, glitch was unable to see that zamination is also a content farm channel and showed their approval on a TADC music video they made.
This isn't how developing a game works, sure the figure-head company behind it might be scummy, but the actual developers/writers, ect. Are (probably) pure & good. The people working on the game itself want to do a good job most of all, so that's why a company like MOB Games would want to hire those people, they would obviously want passionate people creating lore & gameplay. (They even added a reference to MatPat leaving written on a wall in chapter 3.) Basically my point is I'm still going to continue buying future chapters not only to play them 'cause they're fun but also it still supports the developers, whereas buying something like merch or GOD FORBID NFT's, is obviously only going to be a bad thing.
They are not figure heads. Figure heads are people who exist to represent the group but don't actually do anything. Zach, Seth, and Micah are not only the heads of everything, but do a lot of the work too. For all we know, those workers could have been pressured into signing away all their art to the 3 stooges just like ekrcoaster, and in this case your support is probably just going into the stooges' pockets. I found a decent amount of overlap in the development team for poppy playtime and their content farm channels, which means some of these so called "passionate people" also helped in the making of the wierd circus baby animations. And why exactly would these supposedly good people work for these scumbags anyway? It's possible they merely aren't aware of what happened since this situation was quickly swept under the rug, and in that case I will continue to share this information because no one should be ignorant followers.
Okay well I guess to be fair I figured with chapter 3 literally being the length of an entire game by itself, there's probably a lot more people that get added to the development team each chapter so I imagine only a small percentage of them in the team at this stage did the animations for the circus baby stuff, but I guess if the "stooges" actually program, animate, write, ect. for the game themselves then that's a different story. (I assumed they were figure-heads.)
You mentioned zamination, and I haven't heard of him in forever so I decided to look into it a little bit and i think you got a few things wrong. 1: I don't think mob games runs the channel, i think the guy who runs it just works for them sometimes, based on his Twitter. 2: he hasn't done any of the content farm stuff in over a year, it seems like he took a pretty substantial break before coming back, and he's actually putting inn effort in his animations since. So bringing up stuff from two years ago after he's clearly changed is a little bit dishonest. 3: the reason Glitch supported him is probably because he actually started working with them since January, you can see this on his personal Twitter. I'm not gonna be too hard on you, if I'm gonna let Zaminations improve, id be a hypocrite not to let you improve, but this took like less than 10 minutes of research just checking his TH-cam and Twitter. So, for future reference, double check your facts before making a callout post like this. You seem like a good guy, so I hope you improve and find success.
Zach co-runs all their companies including zamination. They've only made like 5 videos since the end of fazbear and Friends, so there isn't enough to go off of to say they've improved. They still use MineAnimation for videos that have nothing to do with mine craft which has always just been a cheap way to get more kids watching Purple girl from what I can tell is a nonsensical fnaf OC that only exists for the same reason every other female character they use exists for (I am not learning the fazbear and friends lore my brain will rot into dust) Effort and quality does not determine anything. Toy story 4 has some of the best 3D animation ever but still has atrocious story and morals. I don't change my stance.

@dbear7717 it's still the same elsagate youtube kids slop formula, though, and that's the real issue, not that it gets churned out constantly. I see a chance for a change but it hasn't proven itself to me yet. and from what I know they haven't owned up on being creepy with circus baby yet and that would be a much more significant improvement of character than making better videos. Another "content farm" that makes actually high quality videos is gametoons, but the stuff that the videos consist of are brain rot at best and gross at worst. My channel is probably objectively lower quality than most content farms, but no one scorns it the way they do content farms because it's the weird stuff they use in those videos that's the problem.

And every single person i see play the game and think its bad its people like you (not meant as an insult) that cant accept that just because some of the workers are bad doesn't mean the game has passion put into it. If Tom want to make a theory which he did and it was amazing because the story of poppy was amazing. Also u said it was game theory bate. No it isnt. Maybe chapter 3 is decent (though i have my doubts considering foekoe got soft locked behind a box in the literal opening minute of the game) but it had massive fanbase by chapter 1 which it did not deserve, but kids just eat up the same stuff over and over. I haven't played venge yet (planning on streaming it blind when i get it) so I'm not sure myself, but the allegation came from the creator not me, and their harassment about his outro still makes them massive hypocrites for trying to deny the plagiarism. Mascot horror as a genre ultimately stems from fnaf so it's not like it's very original to begin with.
