    I too experienced this.... I feel like crying all the time and not at all feeling hungry....but my husband and my mom helped me to overcome this .my husband is an sub inspector of police , he took a 20 days of leave after my delivery .he spent more time with me , understood my feelings and encouraged me to overcome these kind of depression .

    This is so real. I thought i will be rushed with joyful emotions right after baby’s birth but instead i felt so numb. I watched baby from far and wondered why I can’t bond with my baby. I always questioned if i love my baby or not. My heart wept all the time. I wanted to become a mom my whole life and i now I couldn’t figure out how to open up my heart with the baby, my mind felt clouded. My heart flickered with joy every now and then when baby smiled and that was it. I feel super guilty all the time. Sadly, even the women who didn’t go through Postpartum depression will not understand you (they will shame you for everything) and men are far from understanding PPD. Tons of hugs to all the moms going through PPD.

    I had an emergency csec and I was in depression I didn't sleep I cried so much bcoz I couldn't feed my baby and I couldn't takecare of my baby,everyone around me was saying that it's just csec u gave birth without any pain but the pain behind the csection nothing less than the normal delivery pain but my husband helped me to overcome this whenever he comes to see me he says the things that I wanted to hear. Ur husband is the only person who can help u in this.

    No one will ever believe that post partum depression is real untill they experience it. Men can never understand becoz they dont go thru it. I have been thru it and it was so horrible. Thank God i came out of it all alone even though i dint have any emotional support from anyone. Its been 3 yrs ..still i dont know why tears roll down my cheeks uncontrolably when ever i remember my delivery and postpartum phase. God please bless all the nursing moms with enough strength to deal with all the odds.

    I remember telling my husband that I don't feel connected with our child just 6 days after birth. The moment he heard this he called me a cruel person. I had this constant fear of something, I don't know what it was. Everyone around me kept saying I am bad, I am cruel which later made me doubt myself. It is much much later that I realised what i was going through is called PPD. It definitely isn't a joke. Drastic changes in hormones, blood loss etc. are some of the causes contributing to this condition. PPD is real.

    Yes. Its true. I too have experienced this. Because of the people around you, you will hate yourself and even the new born. One of the hardest part in every women’s life but no one can understand. If you do not have enough support in this time, then it would definitely be a hell in your lifetime. Its only my mom helped me all time during those days.

I am mom of two girls. I thought about my kids future, I struggled a lot and for my kids I myself came out of those tough situations. Otherwise i can't even imagine that situations, not even moral support. Eventhough I was a slave in my husband hand i feels happy when i will be with my kids. Praying for all those faces this depression to overcome from that for our kids.

    Mam can you pin this comment. I had this depression very severe. I don't have a family to look after me. I just throwed my ten days baby to my husband and said kill this I don't want. I was staying I'm a new construction building where still some construction work was going on I always thought of throwing baby down from balcony and terrace.. Then I just studied myself hold myself.first I thought i was possesed by something. Till baby was 5months I was going thru all this. That time no much of whats app Or other social media. Butsomehow came to know about this postpartum depression and spoke tomy gynae she suggested me some medicines and therapies. I helped myself. But it was a like a war to myself. But hold on parents that was slowly going and I was becoming normal. Now my daughter Is 9yr old. She is my mother in law sister in law my granny and she is the law in my house. I was blessed a son second now when they play happily i feel very happy. So don't worry new moms. It's ok. This too shall pass. Talk to ur friends. There is no one except u who help urself. Just get up dress up nicely that will create a good day.. Just keep going. All the best new moms and mom to be.

      God bless you, Kusuma. How are you today??

    • @saraiolivas861
      @saraiolivas861 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are not weak. Don't take that from nobody... people sometimes don't understand what one is going through because they haven't gone through it or because they are not mature enough to understand, I went through it with all three of my pregnancies, and it was terrible.
      But I found peace, and my answer was Jesus Christ. He will help you, Kusuma. The Lord can and will direct you to come out of any problem that you may have. How do I know you may ask?? Well, I am a witness of His beautiful work and seen what He has done for me, Don't lose hope He cares a lot about you then what you can imagine just come as you are to Him surrender to Him and let Him in your heart and life, God bless you.

I also have talked to her about God and let her know that He is the only one that can help us..
