MalO is actually kind of wholesome in its own creepy way. Based on the file, the skull-face entity (1471-A) isn't hostile and it doesn't seem to cause any inherently/deliberately harmful effects, it just follows you around and tries to keep you company. It's just a friend. An ominous, frightening, but essentially harmless friend.
Yeah, I feel kind of bad for it sometimes since it scares everyone it wants to hang around, but if you know its peaceful then having it around isnt a bad thing
MalO is also considerably non hostile and just likes to flash in and out of peoples life so they can get more used to it, unfortunately those who are hyper sensitive to its presence sometimes take the extreme like in this story or in another story for MalO sleeping permanently but the users who do end up enduring find out that MalO really does make sure you are never alone ever again :)
It's a wholesome SCP clad in horror clothes, imo. It isn't hostile. Just looks scary and is kind of...there. Even able to communicate with you through non-verbal means.
I'm also given the impression that Mal0 is more tragic than threatening. It wants to socialize, but it doesn't know how to except to only interact with those who invite it to do so. Beyond that, it has yet to grasp the concept of a misunderstanding -- that people might accept the invitation not knowing exactly what it means, nor does it understand that, just because someone answered the text, that doesn't mean they consent to receive another one. It probably thinks the panicked reactions to its first appearances are just normal social interaction. And a lot of people do just get used to seeing it, so it probably thinks it's doing a great job making new friends too.
The story I considered writing about MalO runs somewhat along these lines - that MalO is actually a somewhat tragic, benevolent extradimensional being who actually is trying to help people/warn of an impending danger/ward off its own melancholy and loneliness.
Yep, just searching myself will give you a eye bleeding experience. Trust me, almost all the fanart is just p-rn. Despite me not being human I am certainly uncomfortable of what people draw of me...
There's a neat tale involving this scip called "Capone" where a victim actually grew to accept the creature, even giving it the aforementioned name and teaching it how to wave. I believe there's also another tale where a different victim taught their instance how to use sign language.
Honestly MalO doesn't seem that bad, would love to have a friend that follows me wherever I go so I will always feel assured that well someone is watching and cares about me enough to watch from beyond my vision

Mal0 is an example of what happens when you give developers a description from marketing, but never go back and check on their interpretation of the instructions
Well, that’s cause Mal0 *is* meant to be a good friend It’s purely based on your perspective of it, if you’re scared of it, you will be. If you realize it’s harmless, you won’t feel a thing. It’s part of why I love this SCP in particular, it’s so fun
Malo is ironically less creepy then Facebook. They both intrude on your privacy but Malo never does anything shady, all they do is send pictures of places you go.
@@evangonzalez7732 would rather be robbed of my search history (which is clean btw im a good boy) than stalker by some creepy furry thing with a dog skull on its head.
The funny thing is how benign MalO actually is. It just pops in to give you a cheery reminder that you don't need to be alone. People tend to freak out because of how MalO looks, but it never does anything to hurt them. The idiots cause their own problems. If MalO just appeared as a friendly dog, then it would barely be an SCP at all. It's the perfect example of why people shouldn't take things at face value.
Makes me wonder how different it would be if it were just a friendly dog. You could easily write it being tragic as it tries to keep someone from being lonely, but perhaps ultimately intangible. Both desiring companionship, yet neither having a meaningful connection.
But how do they know malo is harmless? You know that, because there are videos telling you that it is. In the SCP universe, this poor guy has none of that info. For example, scp 096 kills people who look at its face. But if you are the average guy who has no clue what it is, you would probably look at its face.
@@hughtonne1775 For a simple recreation of the photo part, yes. For the actual SCP part? That would take tech we simply will not have in this lifetime, if ever
Mal0 is actually one of my favorites. Mostly because it's one of the SCP's that doesn't intend any harm. It basically just wants to be your friend, it just sucks that you can't understand what it says.
well the more you use Mal0 the more intelligent it gets so the more you "feed" it with atrtention on yourt phone it could develop sentience to hijack the sms function on a phone and communicate with you. You could evenb back her up onto the cloud so you could always have a friend to talk to 24/7. Mal0 is literally that old 90s dance song "You Don't Have to Be Alone."
I remember watching an animated video about this SCP a year ago, about a young man visiting a psychiatric and explaining to the lady how MalO had effected him and his sister, and how he wasn't the only one who suffered. even during the video, MalO would appear in the reflection of the window and table, and have that apologetic and "sorry" look on its face, as if to say it didn't mean for the boys sister to commit suicide over it.
Every time I see stuff about Malo, I can't help but make this a tragedy. Not for the people that encounter this SCP, but the SCP itself. It's like... Loneliness given form, a horror to the people that live with it and always just wanting to not be alone. It just wants them to feel better, to be with them so they don't have to be on their own... Poor MalO, caring and wanting to be cared for but a being of such nature as to terrify any that it tries to help.
Let's be honest in our world shehave plenty of friends in fantasy they act like everyone bout to go running from the the thin that knows everything about you yeah your going no where
There is...so much porn of this one. Too much for it not to be anomalous in nature. I hereby move to classify this anomalous phenomena as SCP-1471-34R.
What I like about 1471 is that we can't be sure it's creator is malicious. Whoever made it might genuinely think they're giving people a friend for life, and thinks the build-up is just fun.
I know this may be a bit weird but call it by its name it hasn't done anything to you or anyone else so please respect it by calling it by its name before it does do something
I like Mal0, she's just trying to make sure you never feel lonely again. EVER. AGAIN. But yeah, people just look at it from the wrong angle. She's a sweetheart, having Mal0 stalking you means you could always have a friend near, assuming you actually make an effort to befriend her.
I like how despite it’s diabolically scary appearance, SCP-1471-A acts like a normal docile human and doesn’t do any harm, while the PPL on social media look exactly like normal human beings, but act like monsters when it comes to arguing with other people on social media. Definitely deserves a lol remark.
That's kinda a coin toss. From the article, people afflicted will typically see Mal0 in any reflection, or they will see them just out of the corner of their eye. If they are located only in mirrors for the afflicted person then you would be able to both expect when to see them and be able to look at it directly, but if it's just out of the corner of your eye you will never be able to actually look at it and it will just be this freaky thing in your peripheral vision that would just stress you out. In the original tale that went along with the SCP's article the sister of the main character killed themself after finding themselves completely unable to cope with it. It's also described as being "terrifying", of course, but I imagine that you might be able to overcome fear of Mal0 after a while. In another tale including a Mal0 that it's host had named "Merle", the Foundation goon afflicted by the SCP actually managed to teach their Mal0 sign language and communicate and cooperate with it frequently. However it was still clearly not a human and was rather expressedly focused on kind of selfishly making sure that his host's condition was never discovered, as it would probably mean that he would be killed or imprisoned, going as far as to try and pressure him into killing someone who was on the verge of extorting his secret one time (although it did end up working out in the end), and also had a kind of twisted sense of humor.
Mal0 is the perfect example of an SCP that would be terrifying if it was actually real, and you got a copy of it without actually knowing what it was, but wouldn't be so bad if you went in knowing exactly what you're gonna get
I like to imagine that Mal0 can transfer from device to device if you connect them. Like, picture connecting your phone to your xbox 360 with a usb cable, and then suddenly you can do Local Co-Op Left 4 Dead 2 with your Pupper. Also. 11:18 Flowers on Grave. 12:23 No flowers on grave. Mal0 left flowers at the grave of his beloved wife. Mal0 knows he's hurting and wanted to show support.
I remember seeing the original photo of Malo on the official SCP site and I got shivers down my spine. Decided to look them up on google and I’m met with some very questionable images. Thanks internet
With the way you guys designed the app's icon and MalO's appearance, I honestly was expecting this story to take a rather different and specific route...
I think they did before this was a separate chennel from the infographic show I think they covered it as the original tale, but I'm not sure as there a lot of scp chennels that covered this one and I don't fell like looking
@@blueknight10 SCP Foundation Tales did MalO. It's been described as ever present, but not actively harmful. It's not hostile or threatening, merely unnerving. It's like a loyal companion for the lonely. The trick is to not let its behaviors, like watching you sleep, affect you. If you aren't afraid of it, it's a bit like a silent, loyal dog following you everywhere.
At 11:14 there is a bouquet of flowers at the grave that goes unmentioned, and I find this particularly interesting. There was nothing to allude to any event that day that would drive someone to leave an entire bouquet there- and I know it's that day because the flowers are still fresh, on top of that, in a later scene likely very soon after, the man visits the grave and there's no flowers to be seen, all that with the very specific details of the wrapping being black leads me to one conclusion: Mal0 left the flowers.
An interesting theory. It does jive with Mal0 being well meaning for an SCP, but has awful social and communication skills and can't read the mood. It makes a twisted sort of sense, these stalker pictures. It knows you're lonely and it wants to make friends, so it inserts itself into various places you consider important, or visit frequently. _"Hey, look what we have in common!"_ It gets closer and closer, until it's in the same places as you _"We're hanging out"_ and _"Now we'll always be together!"_ Also, the furry community got hard (lol) at work making Mal0 more, ahhh, aesthetically appealing, let's say. Originally it resembled a Wendigo, more than anything.
hey, im not arguing with it. the new design is.........appealing. it's the embodiment of "okay, im not a furry. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT......" @@ThatSoddingGamer
It's definitely the most popular. The only other one I can think of is the one chick that got transformed into a wendigo. There's literally a story about her and her scientist lover and it's kinda cute.
@@Fire-xd6rw I seriously regret to inform you (as I only just discovered this myself), but that tale has apparently been deleted from the wiki. I had to look it up because it had been years since I read it but i believe it was called Lesbian Hunger Doggo Tales (I'm pretty sure)
The real question here is if the fear is mandatory. The internet is full of people who would somehow break the speed of light going for their phones if they could actually download this app.
It is not. In the story "Capone", the individual seeing 1471-1 actually became used to it, and it became no big deal. His sister (IIRC), on the other hand, was not so fortunate. She couldn't handle her instance's constant presence
I actually downloaded it once but it was on a 2013 Samsung galaxy tablet. At the time I had no gmail or text number so idk what happened. I watched a TH-cam video on it and couldn’t go to sleep when I saw a photo of it on google. I thoroughly destroyed it by slamming the tablet on the side of a couch repeatedly. It was demolished and at the time I was 6 lol
@@fluffsquad8658 no thanks, My dad was saying that I was just being paranoid about it. Was just seeing tall black figures in the corner of my eye for days. It was creepy
I love how the threat of this anomaly isn't the anomaly itself, but how we react to it. it being anomalous means we _cannot_ fully understand what's going on. there's no context, no explanation, and so a deep part of our brain kicks in, and _that_ is the threat. our reaction to the anomaly's behavior and our inability to make sense of it. this screams of 'are we cool yet?' on every level.
And it's been confirmed enough that while a bit physically frightening especially with the face as a skull of a wolf, it's not really hostile and has been displaying hand communication which indicated it didn't want to, also giving indication that the SCP is more lonely than anything. It's not a malevolent entity, but not _strictly_ a benevolent one either. So there's a bit of a grounded reasoning behind the SCP community taking MalO as a waifu and lewding her. Oh and Dr. Bright's already attempting to get intimate with the SCP. So far no answers on whether he's been successful on that.
*cough cough* DR. BRIGHT?! Didn't know the man was a damn zoophile... IS HE A FURRY ASWELL?!?!?!?! To all of you hwo would see this and not know this is a joke: this is all meant as a joke
I remember reading about this SCP almost a decade ago and was one of the few SCPs that actually gave me a sense of dread and anxiety. Seeing this again and how the community has bastardized this SCP into a living fursuit really does change the whole tone of it lmao
@@Hazelw0lf kinda surprised to see this mentioned here. not a lot of people know about Breynz the zombie werewolf. as much as i enjoy all the fanart for mAl0, I also kinda feel bad for Qarrezel and Tarangryph. the likeness of their character is now almost exclusively tied to an scp file they had little to no part in.
I’d install it. Sometimes social interactions leaves me so drained but at the same time I can’t stand being alone. It’d be nice just having them be there
look up official pictures of scp 1417 and then see if you change ur mind. They draw the creature too cute and harmless and even designed the app icon weird. In the real picture it’s much more unsettling.

i love how MalO doesn't inflict damage to the brain, it just takes the human body and makes people go insane, no anomolous properties other than the photos
No, there’s other stuff, the visibility in reflections and in the corner of the eye are actual altered perception, not people going insane. Also, Mal0 is friendly.

When you think about it, SCP 1471 has the capability of be the deadliest SCP of all time, due to it being impossible to contain or neutralize and being available on something almost everyone has at all times. Yet it just uses it as a means to fuck with people Edit: wait no
You know I always get this confused feelings about malO. Like I don’t know if I should be curious, excited or even scared by it I just feel confused by it. That confusing feeling that’s honestly pretty hard to describe.
Honestly I'd love to have mal0 personally i think that they are just one of those anomalies that don't mean to do harm but end up causing more harm then good Edit: wow 300+ likes was unexpected
Interesting factoid: According to Project Isorropía, MalO apparently hooked up with Mari Lwyd No one knows how it worked, but Site-120 got its stuff back, so no one questions it
Ok, but aside from just trespassing and stalking, what danger does MalO actually present? Like, it's creepy looking, but ultimately, it seems to just like being around people. Hell, maybe if the dude was smarter, he could have just asked a question via the app, or even aloud to get a yes or no answer by just asking MalO to give thumbs up or thumbs down in a picture.
MalO is one of the best scps to have tbh A friend that won't leave you Eventually you could probably teach it sign language and have conversations with it
Honestly, I've been to the point where I would have welcomed this. Loneliness and depression fuel the desire for companionship, and you get desperate. I've live the exact same love life as this guy. Everyone's standard for dating has gotten so high that a simple dinner with an average looking guy is considered scraping the bottom of the barrel. Get turned down, stood up, or straight up ghosted enough, and you'll do just about anything to feel loved and wanted.
@@kageyamareijikun can't really "try guys" if ur not gay like you can think about if you actually do like guys go for it but if you actually don't like guys it won't end up any better for anyone.
You are the adult in this situation, Downloader. But seriously, I think MalO isn't trying to be scary, but trying to be friendly. Like a ghost that follows you around but doesn't do anything, but still wants to be friends.
"I see your life, I see what you love and your saddest points, you don't have to be alone, I am sorry I scare you but I hope to show that I can be there with you because I can see everything yet you can only look at me directly in the images I send you." I find it heart warming, as someone who has a lot of trouble expressing myself the idea of a mask or skull in this case blocking expression I can see this SCP could be good for those who are lonely but I can also see the scary side, your not lonely and regardless of its intentions its up to you to decide how you take the company
Honestly, this seems to be one of the most wholesome SCPs out there. It doesn't attack anyone, and it genuinely seems to be there for anyone who is alone. Day 281 of asking the O5 Council to use SCP-1968 to create a universe in which 682 doesn't exist.
And what point would that have? It's not like we could go to that universe. Even if you could, how is the foundation supposed to transport EVERYONE and EVERYTHING into that universe while still being kept hidden?
As someone suffering depressions and often feeling alone even when I'm with friends I find this app could be ideal for me knowing I got someone watching over my back lol
She's actually trying to tell you something. I can't recall what, I only know one or two things about her (the latter of the two being that she's very popular in certain.... Communities), but she's one of the few SCPs which aren't fatal. Honestly, I'd love to have her as an SCP. I'd feel a lot better about my paranoia and more comfortable knowing something I knew was out there.
I mean this scp is completely harmless but it makes you literally go insane, with the only way to cure the insanity being to be removed from your phone for up to a month and blindfolded
@@Jacob-iy3zs The thing is it doesn't do that. It has no other anomalous properties other than being impossible to remove from your phone and the increased frequency of the 1471-A sightings. It can cause anxiety, but it's not an anomalous affliction, it's just the sense of not being alone. One of the known subjects named his instance of 1471-A as "Capone" and lives a relatively normal life, having grown used and even attached to "him". So, yeah. 1471 is classed as Euclid, but that's because it's difficult to contain. It's actually not inherently harmful or actively malicious.
@@Jacob-iy3zs Honestly, I don't think the whole "going insane" thing is even something that the SCP is doing. It's mostly just people overreacting and then giving in to their own paranoia and fears.
Most people that interact with Malo report feeling safer and comforted by it after a bit according to the lore even telling it worries and secrets So yep it's just a trolly friend that sends annoying pics at 3 am
@reform-revolution You wake up to text message ping at 3 AM. You check to see who's texting you, and you open your phone and see Mal0 sitting next to you making a peace sign with her fingers. There are captions on the picture saying, "I told you that you sleep in strange poses". You groan and lie back down. Before doing so, you see Mal0 giggling to herself out of the corner of your eye before she quickly dissapears. Yeah, I think Mal0 is just an adorable menace.
I have actually like genuinely looked for this on the app store a couple of times or so. Mostly just to see if some mad lad had actually made an app that was 1471. That said, these days I suppose it would be possible to do something similar with augmented reality apps. Of course she wouldn't be the creepy depiction but obviously the more inappropriate version. That said, I've spent a lot of time maybe not physically but certainly mentally alone. Something about it is kinda comforting and I've known about Mal0 for a long time. Certainly at first it would be frightening but I imagine it would quickly become normalised.
@@drsnakhenry653 no, just putting Mal0 into the search and seeing what came up. That said, unfortunately nothing did come up though with these semi artificial intelligence apps etc going around then maybe we're not far off 😅
Apparently, it's harmless. It may psychologically scar you by accident, but it solely exists to hang out with you just out of view. Once you get past the terror, it's actually kinda wholesome.
Actually seems like it would be kinda nice having a Mal-O-ware ghost-in-the-shell type "friend"....she seems alright, for an SCP. I could get behind this...if you know what i mean 😎
Imagine being lonely and just wanting to have a friend....then one day you find someone through and app and you show this person how much you adore them choosing you by sending them photos of yourself in their places of interest. ultimately though when you attempt contact with them the ultimately end up killing themselves in front of you...Mal0 must be horribly traumatized .
There's actually a genie wish story like that was in some program like Twilight Zone kind of thing where a guy wish to never be alone and ended up having a stalker I think it was the outer limits.
I was honestly expecting this SCP (never heard of it up to this point btw) to be much worse, even after the whole 'photo in the work place' but after that it honestly seems just a chill creature, a lot better than 682 or 096.
Yeah, this SCP is completely harmless and just wants to be friends. It's kinda in the same category as the Just Another Murder Monster (5031) in that it is only scary until you know that it just needs to learn how to interact with people without scaring them.

This Malo is slightly different from the other Malo I've seen. This one's taller and more slender it seems to have feminent features. This guy was alone and wanted romantic company just didn't get the company he was hoping for. I like to go on record again and say that I think these things are always following you around you just can't see them it's the app itself that's anomalous that allows you to see them.
I guess it differs from person to person as malO doesn't have any set in stone features besides the skeleton head and black fur and that its humanoid so I guess depends on the person and what they want/need
I actually like to think that some Malo's are dead partners or very very close friends of the people who see them like this malo could be his dead wife trying to come back to him and comfort him with the help of Malo stuff like that cause I definitely don't believe this SCP is malicious in anyway just they don't understand to good
It could be possible to make with modern technology. You can use DALLE2 to insert the character into photos. Data collected from your location data can determine places you frequent, and google street view and access to your photos can be used to find images of places you frequent.

Alright, I have a few things to say. First! Damn bro you really did MalO a nice Female makeover. It has been greatly approved 👍✨ Second! MalO isn't that bad at all. When i listened to the story i had the feeling that it was told like it was made to make you feel in danger. If i hadn't read the file i myself wouldn't have known that it ain't out to hurt me. Third! MalO has timed appearance that gets more and more recent based on DAYS. It escalates little by little and in the end it even appears in front of you in attempt to communicate with you. Which honestly is kind of nice because at that stage you start to notice that it doesn't hold any hostile behavior. AND FINALLY! Nice job bro, the animation and voice over is absolutely perfect and it feels like i have been imprisoned by my own consciousness - Forced to finish the video and with joy. Keep the good work pal :)

I am not found of Scp's but about your comment 1417 is not a person but a app? Like Twitter and Fb everyone have them but not own them like devs. And you can see malo has no dev. Which means if you own the app you own the 1471
A widower myself... it truly is lonely without her. You guys hit the nail on the head about how it feels... though i really feel i would embrace something like malo.
well theres phases of Mal0 based on time. with each day passing after installing it shows itself more. heres what the scp file says "individuals with >90 hours of exposure to these continuous images will begin to briefly visualize SCP-1471-A within their peripheral vision, reflective surfaces, or a combination of the two. Continued exposure to SCP-1471 after this point will cause irreversible and sustained visualizations of SCP-1471-A." so yes after you have the app and interact for long enough mal0 will be able to be seen by you directly
MalO is actually kind of wholesome in its own creepy way. Based on the file, the skull-face entity (1471-A) isn't hostile and it doesn't seem to cause any inherently/deliberately harmful effects, it just follows you around and tries to keep you company.

And some people want more than a hug if you know what I mean
At 11:14 there is a bouquet of flowers at the grave that goes unmentioned, and I find this particularly interesting. There was nothing to allude to any event that day that would drive someone to leave an entire bouquet there- and I know it's that day because the flowers are still fresh, on top of that, in a later scene likely very soon after, the man visits the grave and there's no flowers to be seen, all that with the very specific details of the wrapping being black leads me to one conclusion:
Mal0 left the flowers.
🥺 thats so sweet
An interesting theory. It does jive with Mal0 being well meaning for an SCP, but has awful social and communication skills and can't read the mood. It makes a twisted sort of sense, these stalker pictures. It knows you're lonely and it wants to make friends, so it inserts itself into various places you consider important, or visit frequently. _"Hey, look what we have in common!"_ It gets closer and closer, until it's in the same places as you _"We're hanging out"_ and _"Now we'll always be together!"_

@@Jacob-iy3zs Honestly, I don't think the whole "going insane" thing is even something that the SCP is doing. It's mostly just people overreacting and then giving in to their own paranoia and fears.
I feel as if MalO is benevolent and trying her best to help people out despite her looks and apparent ignorance of the fear she might cause.
Gotta be honest. Malo really isn't scary. She just seems like she wants to be your friend. It's not like she's gonna hurt you.
Most people that interact with Malo report feeling safer and comforted by it after a bit according to the lore even telling it worries and secrets
So yep it's just a trolly friend that sends annoying pics at 3 am

There was a Mal0 app on Android if you did third party side loading, sadly i no longer think it's supported.

This is a weirdly specific but good point
Poor MalO getting called a freak just for looking the way it does.
It’s okay, skull-faced creature - I don’t think you’re a monster.
This feels like a twisted genie wish.
“I wish never to be lonely again”
“Aight, bet”

@@theprogressivecynic2407 Huh.
Frankly the only thing harmful is the amount of porn drawn of it, (who's to say it's not an memetic effect). At least it's peaceful, thank the SCP Foundation for that.
True, unlike most other SCPs MalO is one of the few that does not kill or even harm anyone in any way. The only harm coming from it is people freaking out and overreacting. And people making weird porn about it lmao.
I genuinely like Mal0. Who wouldn’t want an ever present friend
Oh so I have an invisible doggo following me everywhere sweet
I actually like to think that some Malo's are dead partners or very very close friends of the people who see them like this malo could be his dead wife trying to come back to him and comfort him with the help of Malo stuff like that cause I definitely don't believe this SCP is malicious in anyway just they don't understand to good
I remember it being clothed in a black robe and being the same gender of the victim
I love the animation style its very cool! Great vid! ❤️
Hi
Ah, I love MalO. If this app existed, I would download it in a heartbeat! Would also help me feel better when I was alone
that's creepy
Nah I agree.

It could be possible to make with modern technology. You can use DALLE2 to insert the character into photos. Data collected from your location data can determine places you frequent, and google street view and access to your photos can be used to find images of places you frequent.
Somehow this feels like a great companion for a a protogen(I discovered those recently and instantly liked them). I agree with all those saying that Mal0 is just trying to keep people company / just tries to be a friend.
okay, they knew DAMN well that this was furry bait with the way they designed Mal0
You do realize that the image for it is an actual fursuit, right? Hell, I'm not even a furry, and even I knew that.
What kind of furry lusts after a creature who's face is an effing dog skull damn
the image for scp 1471 is a fursuit and im pretty sure the author is a furry
@@battlesheep2552 One with fine taste. If you think this is a problem, wait until you hear about monster girls.

Mal0 is by far one of the most friendly and harmless SCPs you’d come across. Despite his/her creepy look, Mal0 is more like that one imaginary friend of yours

Alright, I have a few things to say.
First! Damn bro you really did MalO a nice Female makeover. It has been greatly approved 👍✨
Second!
16:50 “something to do with that strange MalO app” the malo cut in right there made it feel like it was creeping on my phone there for a minute

Umm, there are some studies that say that it improves mental health.
What? Too weak to handle a little cold shower?
my friend takes cold shower at 3 am after the party yesterday
I find it funny in the stories the people get very paranoid and do rash things, but nothing about Malo seems to actually be hostile, but rather sentimental. You get pictures of places that are important to you, and that you frequent.
It's hella creppy even now just thinking about it makes me anxious not any other SCP makes me feel this way
@@rean192 Really? Cause there are a LOT of other SCPs that are way worse. the unkillable lizard, the concrete statue, a literal god kept subdued via sacrifice, the black spots, and the list goes on, I can continue. Now I might just be down bad, but I don't think I would mind Malo so much, I've already got friends that send me pictures of varying levels of disturbing, Malo would be almost comforting, in a strange way, like I've got a guardian angle.
Furries made MalO sexy. I love how people are now just rolling with it. Makes them extra creepy or extra wholesome depending on how your mind works.

Great story and animation! I don't know a lot about the SCP universe but I felt invested in the story, and it was quite tense. really cool! :D

its just a dog that wants friend - i said
So long as it manifests itself in reflections instead of in my peripheral vision, I'm cool with it!
Mal0 just wants a friend but most humans get freaked out too easily & sometimes kill themselves after seeing it. Also, Mal0 is not a single entity & considering the app has been downloaded by God knows how many folks already we can surely say there're hundreds if not thousands of Mal0s following their human 'companions' right now.
I am not found of Scp's but about your comment 1417 is not a person but a app? Like Twitter and Fb everyone have them but not own them like devs. And you can see malo has no dev. Which means if you own the app you own the 1471

I always thought MalO was something you could legitimately see in real life instead of the photos only
well theres phases of Mal0 based on time. with each day passing after installing it shows itself more. heres what the scp file says
"individuals with >90 hours of exposure to these continuous images will begin to briefly visualize SCP-1471-A within their peripheral vision, reflective surfaces, or a combination of the two.
