Imagine this---when my husband got out of the service in 1965 he could have bought 50's Corvettes at a dealership in Riverside Ca for $400.00 each, a 1955, 56, and a 57 Corvette no one wanted the old cars. He ended up buying a 1956 Chevy Bel Air 2-door hard-top for $400.00, they all need work and didn't run very well. But they looked good! He kicks himself for trading in his Chevy Bel Air as a down payment for a brand new 1968 Chey Impala! I loved the Impala though!
I've no doubt it has sold now, but I think it's beautiful and watching in admiration, I'm sure if you had ads on your videos you would have a good revenue from ads.
Incredible car. I've never seen the level of detail put into a resto-mod.The part I can't understand is he why would use 80's vintage running gear? I don't care what you do to an 200 r4 that is a weak link. The 4l80e in it's stock form than is much stronger and parts will be plentiful for the next 25 years. They didn't make many 200 r4s and the parts will be very hard to get going forward. The GM in HEI in the seventies was awesome, but doesn't really hold a candle to the computer controlled ignition used today. I guess it was built by some old school guy who knows bling, but can't quite wrap his mind around computer controlled running gear, and that's a damn shame.
