4 speed auto? At first I thought "why not a modern 8 speed auto??" Resto MODern, right !!? But then, thinking about it, 8 speeds are for overweight, low torque at low rpm modern engines, or giant 2.7 ton SUVs straining the limits of a 450hp V-8. This thing has all the power in the world and is relatively light, so why interrupt that sweet, sweet engine note with endless gear shifts. 4 speed it is. Good choice.
I have a 1960 C1 Horizon Blue. You mentioned this paint was essentially an original color. Horizon Blue? Is the color mix formula of this car available so I can duplicate it for my project?
