I've been running an LDARC ET100 around my little one-bedroom apartment; the ESC on motor one gave out after 2,000+ sorties last year, and I couldn't find the replacement board online, so I ordered the ET100V2 earlier this month. I was running BF 3.5.7 in angle mode using very tame rates, and limiting the throttle to 60%, which was ample power. I found it to be a nice compromise between power and smoothness, and I like the extra mass the ET100 has. I have 2 brushless 75mm units; I find them skittish. To each their own, eh? I've learned a ton from your vids, Joshua. Thanks much.
I have been flying this around for about a week now and, although this may be an issue with my particular unit, I was having regular RXLOSS issues when 1. the battery was close to done (no big deal, but it occurred BEFORE low bat warnings), or 2. The model was cold, which prevented me from flying in my backyard in November on the East coast. I could recreate the latter by placing the quad (without the battery) in my freezer for a few minutes before flying. After a lot of of investigation, I narrowed the issue down to the inverter on the SBUS circuit from the on board frsky receiver. I reflowed the solder joints on all of the suspect parts but that did not help. I "fixed" this by installing a frsky XM receiver using the UNINVERTED output to UART2 RX (normally SBUS goes to UART1), connecting UART TX2 to UART TX1 (for smart audio) and remapping control to UART2 and Smart Audio to UART1. Probably more than most people would be willing to do, but it flies great indoors and out now with absolutely no RXLOSS issue, even when the battery is down to almost nothing. Downside is a little more weight (1g or so) and power draw. Even if this is just a single faulty unit, it does show that it would be pretty easy to add a non-frsky receiver in this same manner. Pads are labeled pretty well on the board.
Just got my Tinyhawk yesterday!!! I have a pile of batteries from RDQ, and havent stopped flying since I got it. My first indoor quad. Your videos have helped me through more than a couple issues with my 5" quads, Thanks Josh!!
Thank you Joshua. I ordered this to fly around my smallish house this winter. I was intrigued by the upside down config repelling hair instead of sucking it into the motors. I have a bunch of "whoops", brushed to brushless and they all suck in the hair and have relatively short flight times. Looking forward to trying this one out. Used your link for the checker as I always have to plug the little guys into the EV-Peak to get charge status.
Thanks Josh. Good review as always. One small tip, the bottom housing flexes enough to be able to press the bind button without having to use any tools.

First off I want to say how much rotor riot and all it’s pilots has inspired me in this hobby!!! Y’all are the best!! I have a serious question though. So I started out with the tiny hawk rtf kit and learned the basics of freestyle fpv. I have progressed quickly after getting the tiny hawk freestyle. I’ve got pretty good ripping in Acro. What would be a good suggestion on the next quad I should get?????
Don’t forget to refresh adobe premiere after you add a new graphic. The fonts don’t load properly until you restart the program. Unless that was the font you wanted in the body. I just remember bc I used this graphic before 👍🏻
I think this is going to be my first buy in the fpv world . I've still got alot to learn but I'm excited as hell. What kind of flips is it limited to doing ? I want to be able to practice doing some things at least. I've seen some guys doing some cool things with it but I dont know how easy it was for them vs other small quads. Thx . You give alot of great info and step by step directions that make since.
Nice quad, but you should compare it with something like the mobula 7 from happymodel ... this also an 75mm drone and brushless. By the way, where can i get this tshirt
Hey Joshua, I have a tinyhawk-s, I now regret buying as EMAX is horrible. Anyhow I am stuc, with it now but need some serious help. I am a new to quads and am learning. I bought the TinyHawk-S as a starter to learn it seemed like a good starter. I bought it and received it not even a 2 weeks ago, while trying to get the VTX set and on a channel, it smoked I assumed it was done, after 10 mins it started up again I completed setup up thought all was well. Put it away for the night after 5 flights, next morning fired it up again, saw smoke again it was done, it apparently is an IC that a motor plugs into. Well I didnt think I would get warranty on it so I shelled out for a new FC. Got the new FC and put it together, it started up fine, got into beta flight and noticed some immediate changes, first the stick inputs the Taer was not there it was something like aear or something like that, so my inputs were all messed up could not figure that, so I configured it best I could and got ready to test, well it would do some wierd stuff and motors would shut down, after a while of that I tested and found all motors on new FC were spinning the same direction, so I thought it was a bad Flash, I found a video from EMAX which they took down once I contacted them after havin issues, but in this video they gave the HEX file and CLI dump, I thought it would be best to reflash the board with the hex and new CLI since things were missing that the original board had that the new board did not. Well I follows Emax video, flashed the Hex, and CLI, however the version of beta flight had changed from the one they used in the description which let to the newest version which showed 2 new targets not the original MATEKF411RX but instead MATEK411RX(Legacy) and MATEK411RX(MTKS) not you told me to use the MTKS version and I flashed it with that target and the hex I got off EMAX channel. Flash seemed to go fine and I used the CLI dump also in EMAX description. After boot up I got back into beta flight and Taer Input mapping still not there it was still the one that started with Aear or something like that. I had made a diff-all dump I went into that and found the mapping for the Taer, and I manually put that in, and got the mapping straight. still I found motors were all spinning in same direction, that lead me to blheli 16, which emax support told me to use. They gave me no real instruction on it, but some basic. I then went into it and figured out how to switch the motor directions on the two motors and hoped it flashed with correct flash for the ESC. It seemed to fly after that, but not very well, seems one motor rear left when you arm it is sluggish to start spinning, it stalls and other 3 keep spinning sometimes, after a few arm/disarms it seems to be ok, but from time to time on arm that motor seems a little off. I am really not sure if I have flashed this thing right, and used right flash with blheli and if any settings need to be tweaked. Can you please help me. Emax has been horrible, they are very combative, and finger pointy, they are not giving me correct info on flashing and the whole this was sent in worse condition than I have gotten to to, at least it flies at this point. Please I really need some help. Note to all, stay away from EMAX they will not support you, and they have faulty videos, that they have just taken off, but not before I found them and used them. Also they do not help you to fix anything. They ship very defective quads and parts. I am not the only one to get quad out of the box with motors all flashed wrong and parts not working. Has happened to others I have talked to on forums. Many in my shoes, and I am betting all warranty is off, they wont support it. In fact they trashed talked me and closed my ticket, I have since re-opened a new ticket but think they will find issues with whatever the issue is. Well I hope you can help.
Joshua have a question I bought the tiny hawk 2 with transmitter Zorro’s 4in1. I also bought a radio master R81 aftermarket receiver, to bind the tiny hawk to the Zorro. I think it’s blinded because it shows when I flip the switch the lights on the drone flash, but the motor won’t kick on for the propellers to fire up then I was told that it’s because I’m using edge XT ask instead of open XT. then I was told that you had to use open source because it has the access 16 protocol. but then I read that you could use a JXT lit external module with the Zorro using Luna script. And it would work with a tinyhawk or any frsky d8 or d16 software. Have you heard anything about that? I’m just at my wits end with this whole thing. I’ve been trying for two months to get both phones up and running what would be the best way
Thanks for the review and the tx tips for unlocking.... I put an order in for the extra batts from bangood off your link. I put in for a preorder at EMAX a week ago.. can't wait.
JB you are so awesome , intelligent, and innovative. And very entertaining I giggle at something you say every video... With all my heart I apologize again for being rude and disrespectful in a comment towards you... I was an angry drunk at the time...
@@JoshuaBardwell it was one of your videos with tinny whoop Jesse... After I sobered up I was so embarrassed I changed my you tube profile.. i am a very early subscriber of your channel.. sub 5k ..you even reply to me a few times and help me with some problems... So cool you're part of the RR team... All the guys are entertaining and informative..but you definitely add a great sense of humor and personality to the group..
Okay. So I added my second quad to my jumper t18. Just bind you said it goes in a bin. Only one thing not working right is mide switch is reversed. And yes I am a newbie. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks
Thanks for all of your videos. This might be to much to ask but can you do a video on how to hook a spectrum receiver or the tiny hawk please.. I have a dx6e and can I use a regular satellite on one... thanks for your time.. and keep the videos coming... Gil
Hey Joshua, seeing as this tiny hawk is possibly one of the best whoop sized quads for indoor any chance you could create a video aimed at tuning and settings one might wanna try on it for indoor flying? Thanks for the vids, keep up the fantastic work! Cheers.
I had bad luck with my tinyhawk 3. I'm a newbie. After the first 5 flights the throttle switched to the right (others have complained), the the transmitter would not charge. Any ideas why the throttle would change? Perhaps I changed some channel for the trottle. The docs only said you change it with a switch in the transmitter. I checked it, to see if it was knocked to the Right, it wasn't.
I'm a new subscriber and been watching your videos for the past 2 weeks. Great videos! Professional and direct...minimal b.s.😂 Keep up the great work! P.S. I listen and love Vinyl records. Can't replicate the richness of their sound
Ok so the mobula and the snapper & ur65 all have brushless motors but they've no ball bearings in them! Wondering how many flights / hours you can expect from these non bearing brushless models compared to the Emax .. Assuming brushless motors w bushings break down faster .. ?
I had the problem with OSD changing channel ... I hit buttons but couldn’t get it to turn back on. I ended up resetting on beta flight and ruining the tune. Found a guy with the cli dump and his custom tune... fly’s much smoother and better then factory anyways. Annoying though
Did you include a link to the setup video you mention around 12:00? I see the Beta setup template but that doesn't seem to be the right video. Am I missing something? Thanks for making these videos. I've used Spekrum gear in the past but I'm trying to figure out all this Betaflight and OpenTX stuff.
I'm guessing the video which shows how to setup the radio is *Learn To Build a Racing Drone - Part 10 - Setup Transmitter and Bind Receiver.* Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Do I have to hold the VTX button every time I power it on to unlock? I’m having issues getting it to stay unlocked. Nevermind. Looks like it’s working now. Thanks, JB
@@davidfaustino4476 which one you think is better on video noise, rx strength, that's another big factor for me. I have seen some videos of the hawk with some video noise just some meters away from user.
I said to hell with 1s and went for Beta75x this whoop season. I would lean toward the Mob 7 if I had to choose between those options tho - been knee deep in whoop reviews since August, and people are LOVING the Mobula.
I will be receiving my TinyHawk tomorrow. The Mob7 is cool but if I want to be small and go fast I have a 2" and 2.5" that will take a beating much better.
Hi Joshua, sorry to bother this much, but for a first timer quad this is a bit complicated to setup imo. I already got the unlock VTX working - for some reason it wasn't working on Band 3 - Cha4 - 5645 - no matter what I did, but got it working on Race Band 5 - Ch1 - 5658 and in your favorite channel 5740 ;) But now I still have trouble with the flight modes. It goes crazy no matter which mode. What do I mean is that the default chan 1 mode which is acro behaves the same or similar to the other modes. In the sense that if I tilt it 90 left or right or pitch with throttle 0 it starts behaving like if it is in angle mode trying to make up for the angle and PROPS go nuts, which is normal for angle or horizon but no acro. If I tilt on all directions my US65 for example or URUAV65 on acro mode NON of the props spin uncontrollably as it should since its is ACRO! This are all F3 FC though... This is my first F4 and cant get it to work, if I crash it just goes nuts need to press disarm so i can stop it from going full throttle even though it is not on angle mode (supposedly). I didn't change anything from factory default except for maybe some PID's that I used from Nick Burnes. Just set up the channels as I always had and nothing else. Spent two days setting this tiny hawk and still cant make it work properly... If you do have some time which I know it's limited I'd appreciate some input. Always thankful for your help!
Hi, NIk, I would suggest going through the steps here: th-cam.com/play/PLwoDb7WF6c8mWARrcxtX_G6yytK7QFHID.html This will get you set up with the transmitter and arming mode. You can delete the pre-existing modes just to be sure there is no confusion.
Hey Joshua. I currently fly the Eachine Wizard X220 with the Turnigy Evolution and I want to get a Tiny Whoop that will work with the Evolution. I'm not sure what the difference is between the Evolution and other Taranis controllers. Can you speak to that? Also, I just saw your other video about your female friend FPV pilot. Good for you calling out the assaulter and the organizers.
What is the different between BNF and RTF? I was going to get the RTF one cause I think it comes with controller and goggles? But it’s like $169 CAD and then with 3 batteries@$8 each, shipping $47 and order protection for $11 it was going to be like $248... the BNF version is much cheaper though
Joshua Bardwell thanks, I kind of figured that was the case. Thank you for replying quickly, now I’m going to hit you with the big question... This shit just keeps getting more and more confusing 😫 I really want to buy the Emax Tinyhawk but cheapest I can find that ships to my location is $214. Then I would like to add 2 extra batteries the 450mah 80c/100c & a set of 4 blade props so the turtle mode can work cause apparently it doesn’t work with 3 blade. Total cost w/ shipping costs $255... don’t know anymore. I’m not working right now cause I have 2 tares in my shoulder so money is kind of tight. I could get that TinyHawk but shit I could get the FLSKY radio for like $50-$60 which works with several other drones (I think) and then maybe buy the eachine wizard x220 for $180 or whatever is was. That goes way faster, and better camera plus can mount a GoPro. Then just need goggles. Could you explain a bit about the goggles like would any kind work with that drone and others alike? Do I need specific ones for the DVR feature? And what’s better, a radio with 2.4ghz or 5.8ghz? What’s the difference? And what is the transmitter it says I’d also need for the goggles.. and radio? I’m so lost 😖
really love your review video, EMAX tinyhawk is an unbelievable miracle, will buy it as a Christmas gift! I heard about that they will release RTF version at $165.99, I will wait for it!

Hi Josh nice vid as usual, i,m new to fpv race quads and have just purchased a tinyhawk and a D9 Plus great!! Problem i have is i cant get the tinyhawk to bind to the radio, i have updated the latest firmware from open tx and have it set radio to D8 chanel but cant get the green light!! Any ideas what i,m not doing to fix this cheers Daz
Are you sure you set the Taranis to D8 mode? Or did you just change the channel count to "1-8". When you go to bind, it asks, "channel 1-8 telemetry on". That's not D8 mode either. In the Model Setup screen right above where you hit "bind" on the radio, there is a setting for the binding mode. If it says D16 that's your problem. Another problem would be if you have an EU-firmware radio but your TinyHawk is FCC firmware. Then they won't bind.
Hi Josh thanks for getting back quickly, so I now have D8 mode and a green light so I guess the bind is now good to the radio! I have followed your set up for the radio as well, the quad is talking to the radio now which is good but cant get the tinyhawk to fire up!! Can you suggest what I can check next to get it moving cheers daz
Hey Josh, hey everyone... I need some help with my tinyhawk, I am stuck. My video feed goes static after around 10 sec. of every flight and never comes back. If I want the vid back i have to replug the pack and rescan(HD3 with true D), then the video comes back on, but every time on a different, random channel and actually never on the one that i have selected in betaflight!? It doesn't matter if i set a specific channel in BF or set band and channel to 0. I tried doing it thru CLI as well, i have added a capacitor, resolderd the antenna and took it out of the canopy. Nothing. I would very much appreciate some help before I give up and spend 50$ on a new board or new vtx. Thanks in advance and as always, thanks for your dedication to this hobby!
Hey Joshua. I went to fly the Tinyhawk tonight and all was well until I had a motor stop working. The motor may work at one minute and be completely unresponsive the next. In betaflight I get the same results when testing that particular motor, which is most often no response or i'll get a prop to spin briefly and then stop. I will get a beeping sound on occasion when attempting to engage that motor in BF as well as hearing what sounds like a hum from the motor / ESC. Any help would be appreciated and as this is our first quad I'm still learning the basics of Betaflight. Thanks a bunch for any feedback.
@@JoshuaBardwell Hey Josh. Just a quick update on this. Last night our 2nd Tinyhawk failed in the same way. Here's what's interesting. Both of these failures came almost immediately after adding the 4 bladed props and enabling turtle mode. The first quad had maybe 4 batteries after adding the props and enabling TM before it failed, the second I believe was 2 batteries before that one failed. It didin't strike me as odd until it happened to the 2nd quad. Turtle mode was only used once on the 2nd quad and it worked fine. Not only did the ESC fail, it impacted the same motor as the first quad. Could turtle mode or the four blade props be causing problems for the ESC ? I'm curious about your thoughts. Thanks.
Do you have to do that fix for the video channels every time? Or will the board remember to stay unlocked on subsequent startups? Also, does this apply to the new S model?
@@JoshuaBardwell thank you. It was really sluggish doing rolls and flips when I flew it and didnt know if changing the rates would actually do anything or if it would mess it up.
What is the cheapest battery set I can get for the tiny Hawk I have one coming in a few days bit I think it says 1 battery for the drone and one for haed set well rtf but I put in ebay tiny Hawk batteries 10 for 23/25ish pounds am, from Scotland so 25 pounds pmsl plus a will be a newbie at fpv a have learned flying gps drones not to badly but they basically fly themselves please could you hook me up with a link or is the one for 25 good and are the the right batteries thank you keep the videos coming 👌👌👌✌️✌️🙏❤️

Joshua, I am a newbie. I just bought a Tiny Hawk and I am having issues with adjusting the trim. I am attempting to adjust the trim with the sticks in the positions of the Left Stick "UP fully" and the Right stick clicking in the direction that I am trying to trim to. Not only am I not making any difference to the trim, but nothing appears to be saved. I am attempting to save with both the right and left sticks in the Down and Outward position. Each time I hookup the Tiny Hawk to Beta Flight the Accelerometer Roll and Pitch Trim is the same. I am sure I am doing a typical newbie move. Please advise. I am having no issues with my Eachine QX65 doing the same thing.
Thank you for the very quick response. I did validate that I am in Angle Mode (Air Mode included).I validated this in Beta Flight before and after a flight. It still did to accept or save my settings.@@JoshuaBardwell
Thanks for another great review. I'm super excited for my tinyhawk to arrive. I fly indoors and find that a lot of the current generation of power whoops are just too powerful for my skill level. I'm hoping that the tinyhawk will be the right amount of power for indoor whooping.
I've found an easy way to bind the Tinyhawk. Get a wooden coffee stirrer from any coffee shop and cut down the end to a chisel shape, just about 5ml. slide it between the shell and the bind button, you can hear it click. now connect your battery using both hands. Remove coffee stirrer when done.
One question. I bought the RTF and then an additional Tinyhawk and need to find if I can bind the new quad to the transmitter. Tried what the instructions said but never got a red light on the radio. Red light came on briefly on the radio but went out. Green light on the receiver was good to go but the radio never would bind. Any suggestions would be a big help.
Hi I got the same problem. The Emax support team helped: By connecting the Tinyhawk to betafligtht and re-installing the configuration file it did work at the end. Regards
Hey There great vid thanks, i,m looking to get one of these for my first quad, can you suggest a set of goggles and radio to go with it, did i hear that emax was going to do package kit with all of these soon thanks again Daz
how do you set this up to fly? I setup the switches and everything responds in betaflight but the tiny hawk doesnt throttle up . It doesn't even spin props when armed. The yaw works though. Pitch and roll seem to work on the copter, but no throttle. Throttle shows up in betaflight. OSD shows when armed so it seems like the switch works. Did I get a faulty piece?
@@JoshuaBardwell I adjusted the endpoints and now its not arming or even showing the armed notification in the OSD. I can get the motors spinning in betaflight though. Whats going on? I've setup two copters before this and not encountered this issue. The warning on screen says Throttle. my endpoints for throttle are at 1000-1500-2000 and flicker +- 1
Hello Mr B!......I managed to kill my RTF Tinyhawk (story for another time) BUT but bought a replacement BNF....it goes into bind mode....red flasher indicates good bind with original RTF bundled controller....BUT....it won’t arm?

Wish I did videos - I have had this ship for a few days and been flying the heck out of it... Great indoor quad for me... Love it
Don’t forget to refresh adobe premiere after you add a new graphic. The fonts don’t load properly until you restart the program. Unless that was the font you wanted in the body. I just remember bc I used this graphic before 👍🏻
You are my go to guy when it comes to learning all this fpv thanks and keep up the awesome work 😎🏅🏆
I think this is going to be my first buy in the fpv world .
T shirt can be purchased by Kwad Box subscribers in the kwad box store.
I would love to see a 2S version of this one. Something to complete with the Beta75X and the Mobula7.
Apology accepted, although I honestly don't remember the comment, so no worries.
Thanks
Have the RTF model and unable to get the RC to Bind with the Quad? Any suggestions/settings?
Hey Joshua, can you please measure the battery size? or how wide is the mount?
Thanks for all of your videos. This might be to much to ask but can you do a video on how to hook a spectrum receiver or the tiny hawk please.. I have a dx6e and can I use a regular satellite on one... thanks for your time.. and keep the videos coming... Gil
What about Spectrum option? Haven’t converted yet from dx9. Heard about full speed DSMX receiver
Horizon Hobby has some DSMX options.
I would like to see your take on the mobula7
Will it be possible to use the tinyhawk RTF transmitter with other FR Sky drones?
Best Quadcopter reviewer on TH-cam.
Thanks for the video.
Great video Joshua. Thoughts on the Mobula 7?
I'm a new subscriber and been watching your videos for the past 2 weeks. Great videos! Professional and direct...minimal b.s.😂
Keep up the great work!
FYI to bind, you can simply push the battery tray down to get to button. No need to stick anything in there!!
Ok thank you and thanks for the info in the vtx over heating too.
I plan on getting the Tinyhawk as soon as funds are available. Excellent review Joshua!!
I had the problem with OSD changing channel ... I hit buttons but couldn’t get it to turn back on. I ended up resetting on beta flight and ruining the tune. Found a guy with the cli dump and his custom tune... fly’s much smoother and better then factory anyways. Annoying though
For use indoors only would you recommend this or a tinywhoop?
Is it possible to change out the vtx antenna?
Did you include a link to the setup video you mention around 12:00?
I see the Beta setup template but that doesn't seem to be the right video.
Am I missing something?
Thanks for making these videos. I've used Spekrum gear in the past but I'm trying to figure out all this Betaflight and OpenTX stuff.
Is this the video I want? *Betaflight 3.4 & 3.5 Setup For Total Beginners*
I'm guessing the video which shows how to setup the radio is *Learn To Build a Racing Drone - Part 10 - Setup Transmitter and Bind Receiver.*
Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Do I have to hold the VTX button every time I power it on to unlock? I’m having issues getting it to stay unlocked.
Nevermind. Looks like it’s working now. Thanks, JB
I don't think so. But to be honest I didn't test that.
Joshua, if you have to choose between the emaxhawk and the mobula7 which one you will choose?
@@davidfaustino4476 which one you think is better on video noise, rx strength, that's another big factor for me. I have seen some videos of the hawk with some video noise just some meters away from user.
@@davidfaustino4476 enjoy your boring tiny hawk, let me know when you try a Mobula 7 :}
I said to hell with 1s and went for Beta75x this whoop season. I would lean toward the Mob 7 if I had to choose between those options tho - been knee deep in whoop reviews since August, and people are LOVING the Mobula.
David Faustino btw, u can use 1s on mobula 7 also if you need to slow it down, so you can go to 2s if your ready or in a depending on the enironment
I will be receiving my TinyHawk tomorrow. The Mob7 is cool but if I want to be small and go fast I have a 2" and 2.5" that will take a beating much better.
Hello, can you help me with what kind of connector does the battery have (the name)?
You can just push down on the battery holder to hit the bind button. So much easier than trying to push something in there.
Hi Joshua, sorry to bother this much, but for a first timer quad this is a bit complicated to setup imo.
I already got the unlock VTX working - for some reason it wasn't working on Band 3 - Cha4 - 5645 - no matter what I did, but got it working on Race Band 5 - Ch1 - 5658 and in your favorite channel 5740 ;)
But now I still have trouble with the flight modes.
Hi, NIk,
I would suggest going through the steps here: th-cam.com/play/PLwoDb7WF6c8mWARrcxtX_G6yytK7QFHID.html
This will get you set up with the transmitter and arming mode. You can delete the pre-existing modes just to be sure there is no confusion.
@@JoshuaBardwell Ok I will, thanks again JB!
I just got
Mine today. This little sucker is fast!!
I am hoping I can get mine to bind to the jumper T8sg. Thanks for this informative review.
Joshua, could a Eachine EV100 Micro AV Recorder DVR be wired into the Tinyhawk googles? Thanks
Likely yes
Have you tried normal 1s lipos or hv lipos that are not 80c?
Hey! I bought a Mobular and not that Tinyhawk.
Is thar fine?
What is the different between BNF and RTF? I was going to get the RTF one cause I think it comes with controller and goggles? But it’s like $169 CAD and then with 3 batteries@$8 each, shipping $47 and order protection for $11 it was going to be like $248... the BNF version is much cheaper though
RTF has included controller and goggles. Bind-n-Fly has included receiver but no transmitter or goggles. You must bind it to your own controller.
Awesome video Joshua and I have been waiting for this one to be released, ty.
So does the baby hawk pro r 2.5 have a locked out vtx as well? And if so is it the same procedure to unlock it? Thanks Joshua.
Yes it does. The procedure to unlock it is different. It's in the mamual.
@@JoshuaBardwell thank you. I'll take a look.
To anyone who wants to know you hold the vtx button and plug it in. When it flashes U its unlocked. If it flashes L it means its locked. :)

Hey josh thanks for the reply but cant get the motors to spin on the tinyhawk, any ideas on what I can check cheers Daz
You’re awesome Joshua! Love all your vids. Very informative as always!
Love to see a vid on the Mobula 7 or a side by side! Great Vid as always! :)
Nice fly around your place. Liked the way of giving the review.
This indicates a damaged motor or damaged ESC. Replace the motor. If that doesn't fix it, it's probably the ESC.
@@JoshuaBardwell Thank you so much, Josh!
Thanks.

You need to be in angle mode for the trim to work. This didn't used to be like that but they changed it.
P.S. I meant 5mm, no liquid involved.
Hey josh, I got it all connected to the quad and assigned my arm switches but my quad still won’t fly. What could be the problem?

how do you set this up to fly? I setup the switches and everything responds in betaflight but the tiny hawk doesnt throttle up . It doesn't even spin props when armed. The yaw works though. Pitch and roll seem to work on the copter, but no throttle. Throttle shows up in betaflight. OSD shows when armed so it seems like the switch works. Did I get a faulty piece?
I think your turtle mode is activated by mistake. Check in the Modes tab.
