    Ivory/bone & magenta/fusia gets my vote, the metallic is definitely more grim dark but lacks definition in my humble opinion.

    I love the white armored one. It serves as a good contrast between the armor and the robes

    The ivory scheme gets my vote, they would look so good as an army.

    Sisters of Battle is still an accurate name for them. "Adeptus Sororitas", "Astra Militarum," or "Adeptus Astartes" are the in-universe fancy, ceremonial High Gothic terms for those organizations; Sisters of Battle, Imperial Guard and Space Marines are the "low-gothic" vernacular equivalents (and thus more commonly used, in real life and in the fiction lol).
    Love the videos, you have helped me so much when it comes to painting!

    The metal colored one gave me Captain Phasma vibes, and definitely not an often seen scheme for Sisters. Metal gets my vote 👍

    Really big fan of these new mini serieses. Loved the Agastus one and this looks promising as well. I like both schemes but I think I would prefer to see more of the metallic one.

    I love love love the army painting videos! Watching you paint one model and then move on to a bigger model and/or hero model or something like that is awesome!
    Love from a patron

  • @Perkustin

    They both look great but the Tan and Pink looks so good in a parallel universe that's the boxart scheme. It would be very interesting to see how you apply the scheme to the more lightly armoured models and the Rhino (i.e. i would love to see which bits of the rhino get the pink).

  • @Moiax
    @Moiax ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Loved the video. Lots of good tips about the mini and good technique regardless of the paint scheme. Personally, I love the red robes black armor, but i think this video helped walk me back a bit from needing to uber highlight and do 4 or 5 different colors on each section. Your point about focusing mainly on the robes and armor, at least for the rank and file, is a good one.

  • @monkeyhammer
    @monkeyhammer ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Love the white/pink/black scheme I think the high contrast would look lovely on the table. Not sure the dot rendering added much, although that might be the camera flattening out the bright areas.
    Really enjoying these longer series so far!

    both are really, really amazing! if i had to choose one, i'd say the white one, mostly because i think it would look really cool with that splash of pink throughout the unit. i know you said you mostly want to paint helmeted heads, but i really hope you paint at least one without the helmet, since i love the way you paint heads and would love to see how you'd paint a sister of battle :D

    So excited the Combat Patrol series got more traction, I think this series and even a kill series would be great! I watch these to get inspiration I completely understand why patreon is important but watching videos like this makes me excited because it feels like a patreon video but I'm able to watch it. The white turned out great too!! I can't wait to see more definitely think the lighter scheme should be the color scheme

  • @Gibbons3457
    @Gibbons3457 ปีที่แล้ว

    They both feel like they need something extra, just a splash of something to pull the eye. The ivory scheme has a big dark void around the gun, so maybe the gun needs some colour just to separate it from the gloves; the dark metal scheme needs a colour to draw the eye, it's all very similar contrast, maybe make the yes glow, or a a bold colour to one part of the armor, like how the iron warriors have the hazard stripes.
    They're both good but I don't have a specific favorite yet since they both feel just shy of complete. Still, both are superbly painted.

    Bone scheme wins it for me, that pink is gorgeous. Would love to see the tank done in those colours and curious to see how the penitent engine would turn out. I love the metallic scheme as well, look like gritty, practical, no nonsense nuns with guns. Great job on both as always Henry!

    Great timing, I'm working on the Combat Patrol for Adepta Sororitas right now. Doing the armor in a rich purple scheme, with dark robes. So I'm happy to see you paint up a Combat Patrol as well! I really like your bone scheme and am looking forward to seeing the continuation of this project.

  • @caelb9764
    @caelb9764 ปีที่แล้ว

    I reckon the metallic scheme but with the Fuchsia robes/another fairly bright robe colour would look amazing. Reminds me of the classic medieval style of cold steel armour with heraldic patterns over the top.

  • @pat0652
    @pat0652 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Henry, love love love the bone colour (I'm doing my stormcast baded on your deathwing guide and my sisters using your Knights Excelsior Guide), but I'm not sold on the black robes. Also really digging the more utilitarian look of the iron sister with brown robes - but I wouldn't love that scheme on the transport. So my vote goes to the bone theme. ❤

    Metallic is more distinctive, I think. But the dirty white looks really good. I think the brown would look better with another layer of highlight on the robes, and/or a lighter inner surface for the robes, as this stage looks just a tad too dark. Whereas the other, with the dirty white and magenta lining to the cloak has way more contrast of light value.
