      the vast majority of all trading is done intraday today. we're all day traders.
      the main difference is sophistication level. on one end, you have the basic level retail traders reading 'news' and point-clicking on a website or mobile app. on the other end, you have ppl formulating arbitrage equations and using HJB to solve argmin solutions to these systems.

      Quant researchers look for new pricing models (i.e. by researching). Desk quants and traders are the ones that actually implement these models and make the money

    this guy is a mastermind at creating his videos. Im impressed. After all he is a data scientist. His able to collect statistics from his viewers in the form of their comments/opinions and analyze them before making his next videos and hes done a great job at it. As for the structure of his contents, i give a thumbs up. He never tells his viewers why he is depressed, but leaves the viewer wondering when he tells them he quit his job at the end. He played us good. its all a "chess game"

      People say nurture matters more because it makes themselves feel good. It’s what’s called virtue signaling. Genetics accounts for 80% of outcomes. All you have to do is look at twins separated at birth to understand this. Even with different upbringing they end up with the same interests in life and success outcomes.

    • @KaesOner
      @KaesOner 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@harold3802 Where in the comment did you contrive that i was hating? I think you are looking or obsessed with hate and negativity that you see it in every little detail even if its not there. I just stated a realistic statement, which is highly likely the possibility as opposed to the "genius" comment. Its as if my comment touched a sensitive spot with you personally because maybe you are/were the guy with no social life so you had taken this comment personally and justified it as "hate". lol chill out bro.

    • @harold3802
      @harold3802 5 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Kaes I said it’s hate because you did not just comment this once you seemed to want to downplay anytime someone called him a genius by insinuating he had no social life. The guy doesn’t even think is a genius and no you didn’t hit a soft spot I’m smart but no where near competitive levels and stuff, plus I have a ton of great friends. I have never considered myself a genius but good try thinking you did something there. Also because you commented more than once downplaying his intelligence, it does come across as hate and as if you were trying to justify the fact that you haven’t achieved up to what he has achieved because you had a social life. That’s just pathetic I do see your point cos a lot of people might fit your assessment but it’s weird the way you did it twice, this is long but almost done... Imagine you have a remarkable achievement and people were talking about you like this guy is super smart then someone that doesn’t even know you comments that he had no social life every single time he hears you being praised.... tell yourself the truth that’s hate and projection of insecurity

    • @ashleigh3021
      @ashleigh3021 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7
