Oh wow, the mad plague of Brookside Close story! I used to watch it avidly, but somehow I don't remember this. I've certainly heard about it though. It's quite entertaining, but partly because it's a bit bonkers. It's weird to think that this actually happened during the height of the show. Post millennium, Brookie was pure mad. But here, it was usually reasonably grounded.

This was nothing compared to the mystery virus that would hit Brookside three years later which would ultimately signal the beginning of the end of the show.
