Great video Owen! It's cool to see you testing out some of the new Shimano gear. The Dialuna certainly looks tempting haha. Congratulations on the video partnership. I think this is one of your most well put together videos yet and it was cool to see you fishing so many different spots. Keep up the good work man!

I recently picked up the previous season Dialuna from IFL and paired it with a BG MQ and braid. Was previously on a cheap mono combo. Cast distance just quadrupled and the sensitivity is unreal.

I have three 2018 models ML/M/MH all 9'6" I fish Stripe bass and Halibut in San Francisco Bay from shore. I can cover from 1/4 too 2 OZ. jigs, minnow, poppers, and soft swimbaits. Great rods for run and gun on the beaches.

I've got the Dialuna 8 foot with the 23 Stradic 3000. Running the Ocea PE 1.5. With a 40g colt sniper I'm casting out 60-70 meters. I'm fishing Wellington harbor NZ and had a 10+kg kingi turn off my stick bait (slow sink nomad) at my feet just before Xmas. Definitely my goal for this summer.

I did some research on Dialuna series last year and bought myself the 710mh in the previous generation. It has been a good rat king rod for me, especially when I want a switch from the shore jigging setup. It's a shame Shimano doesn't sell the current mh model anymore in Australia.
