Good guide but keep in mind this was done on single player with generous help from the settings. I would suggest having at least 4 hrs set aside to do this your first time, probably more. On 3X last night we spent about 5 hrs trapping a bug and getting 3 Brontos pregnant. The 5 cravings were 25 mins apart and you have a tight window to grab each one and feed to get all 5 ( get the dino fed asap!) The cravings determine level and stats so the more you meet the better your bug. We are on PVE official by the way.

Thats definitely a good spot to find them! Also other vids have also said brontos... Using a rex is smart... And easier to protect.
Definitely. Also rexes are much easier to level up therefore you pump health a lot faster
I love these bugs, I think they're the ultimate drop hunter, they have decent speed, really high carry weight, excellent stamina, they can pick up just about every Dino in PvP maps, and that fear Roar that I use all the time so I can jump off and loot the drop while the wild dinos run away 😊

Beware on high ping official servers the ping will cause the rhynio never to do the impregnation animation. Tried 3 different Rhynio's (150,85,15) and not one of them has worked.
Did you end up getting one ??? If so how
Maybe thatd my problem had a 140 and it just stayed close attacking ping was 150

I never find a rhynio on the right side. Always get like 2 of them on the left side edge of the swamp though
Battle Tartar is one of the cravings but it’s not in the game for some reason I have tried putting the ingredients into a cooking pot or industrial cooker and it won’t craft it. I had rhino that want it but we couldn’t figure out how to make battle tartar.
Got our first one the other day. Same process as ASE and raas and syntac have awesome shorts covering the how to in less then a minute!

@@kenshinhimura9387 nope but knowing content creators and how the watch times are, people click off with longer videos. People don’t have hours to sit In Front of screens all day. We work for a living and have family’s. If I can get the same info in 1 minute that’s time we’ll spent

I have done everything right twice now without cheats but it just wont fucking do the impregnate animation for some reason
@@despawningenemy420 what tame are you using to impregnate? We used a high lv bronto with a good saddle. Got the rynio below 10% hp and fed the thing to our bronto and within 10 seconds it was pregnant

1st 3 i found were males. 4th was a female level 140...killed it in 3 chomps from a tamed wild 140 rex. Spent 2 hours looking for another. Logged off went to bed.
Will it still be born if you dont have the rare items? Just at a low level?

I did the dame exact to a level 140 and others and even had the health down to 3 and it just kept attacking close range never impregnate any of my tames on xbox ive tried about 10 times using a bronto
i have a female giga, i keep using the pheremone and getting the female rhynio to one shot away from death (using a primitive pump shotgun) and it just keeps attacking it refuses to impregnate, im on a private nitrado server

You can trap it check out Captain Fatdog dudes traps are crazy. Higher drag weight dinos are best I think the highest on island is a brontosaurus rex is fine too.😊

Does the level of the sacrificed tame matter? Does it make the rhynio a higher level?
Yes. The higher the better but also the drag weight of the tame. Rex or bronton and even better the carcharodontosaurus.

Its 50/50 what stat it takes over. Stat from bug or stat from dino used. Also few factors how much off that stat gets taken over. drag weight is important, level of the bug only max level with give max possible outcome and making sure you get al 5 cravings before its born. If you dont got all 3 on 100% then if your dino has lets say 30 in a stat, and that one gets taken over. you wil only get a certain % of that stat depending on the requirements. For best result so if you want the 30 stat to be taken over and stay at 30, you need drag weight from either bronto, giga or carcha, a max level wild bug and hit al 5 cravings before its born.
The three best tames to sacrifice are Bronto, Giga, Carch.
I tried a Giga lvl 88 no luck whatsoever

does the level of the rex determine the level of the baby rhynio ?
We use brontos and the level does not seem to be affected by the level of your Dino. The game seems to give you random rolls for each craving you supply, up to five cravings. There is likely six rolls, the sixth a freebie just for impregnation. I think the level of the bug you use is the max level possible and the rolls determine how close you get.

What tames can you do it with?
Large and above
Brontos are best
I found 1 in early game now i cant find any it getting really frustrating

To get the best rhynio baby possible you actually have to use either a bronto giga or carch instead of a rex
Does the level matter?
@@HolyAbominationso how it works is the tame’s drag weight (aka bigger Dino = better) will increase the odds of getting the higher creatures stats. If the rhynio has 50 points into hp, and your Dino only has 30, the odds are increased that the rhynio health is what will go to the baby. So higher level Dino’s will also be good, but if the tame isn’t very large the chances are lower that your highest levels will be transferred. But I’ve seen plenty of people who transfer fully mutated rexes or shadowmanes (on ase ofc) and end up with rhynios that have 255 in all stats, which is pretty cool
Anyone getting crashes? Got impregnated by a 145 but now that its about to hatch, when it does it crashes, anyone know how to fix this, because I cant do anything because my last save is at 3 seconds that its about to hatch. Do you think its because I used a modded dino?
I got one to get my rex pregnant but I’m on official bruh the incubation is 8 hours hp going down incredibly fast and I wonder if my rex will die before rhynio burst out I’m fkn panicking

Mate, I appreciate the content. And I only want to leave positive feed back, I know for the sake of making videos and editing its easier to just use GCM and clear wild dinos, but this stuff is the reason I believe your not at your goal yet, and you deserve to be. I myself am a PVE official server player with 6k hours in ase, the lack of protecting your Dino tames and the lack of prep required makes most people believe its easier to do some of your guides than they really are. I think you have a ton of knowledge that people could really benefit from. Would you consider showing the prep that will be required going into these tames on servers that arnt single player or unofficial? I think most people can agree that your videos are great. I just wish there was more being covered for people that dont play unofficial.
I killed 6-7 Male Rhynios and I don’t get that item… what is the problem? I killed them always with my spino
It will go straight into your tames inventory when you kill it, if you kill it on the take obviously

Teach on official settings it's a totally different beast... when you get impregnated on the Rex you have a 5hr timer and the health and food go down extremely fast we had to use pigs to heal it it it will die before the timer is up toward the end it drained 1k hp a min so it's not an easy task.. try this on official setting and you will see what I'm talking about peace out bud

TEACH! NO ONE THAT IVE SEEN HAS MADE A VIDEO ON WEAPON/ARMOR/SADDLE CAPS ON OFFICIAL. I personally would like a video on this topic, but I'm sure many others would like a detailed video on:
1.) What are the weapon/armor/saddle caps?
2.) Best way to get these caps
The difficult part is finding it.
Oh trust me. It will find you and then you'll wish it never did. The thing is crazy fast and powerful.

No, its not that easy on official pve!!
Here are some extra tips so you wont suffer as i did:
1 - To find it, take your dino at the middle of swamp and use a flying dino to spot it and lure to your dino;
2 - PVE is lagging for f*** so it takes a while to impregnant, i recommend you have at least 3 pheromone to be safe;
3 - After impregnant, your dino keeps losing health and there is nothing you can do to heal it! It will be born at 1hp;
4 - It does eat a lot of meat and if you dont have a dino for faming it, you are scrulled!;
Please up this message so other people dont suffer a whole day like i did.
I've been trying all day, the question is, should the rex be male? tried with female rex with pheromone the rhiona is below 5% and never does the animation, OFFICIAL

worst add on to ark ever. also, stupid how u get stunned off of your spino now by cnidarias. when i played a year or 2 ago, that never happened. they update the game till it makes no sense, and they add stuff to thisg ame that makes no sense.
Any particular reason why your character’s chest has to be so large? It seriously takes away from the appeal of the content.
And for the love of God, please stop saying “smash that like button”. It sounds very immature and childish. You shouldn’t have to beg for likes anyway. If people like your content they can make up their own minds without you having to tell them. Also, if you need to beg for likes then put the begging at the end.
