You are absolutely the best Singaporean youtuber so far in terms of knowledge, topics, way of presenting, objectivity and honesty. I really like your videos and personality ❤
Tbh I agree that garden by the bay is at the S tier bc it is very beautiful and has lots of different plants and florals! I did go there few months ago during a visit to my aunt’s! I also had been to the aquarium! Is very awesome too!❤
Thank you for your recommendations, Tomy! Currently in SG as we speak, and I’m trying my best to mirror our itinerary to your guides. For example, we strolled through the Botanic Gardens using your ideal path, and it was a great experience! In addition, your camera and lens recommendations were much appreciated as well. Thank you again for your helpful advice! Wish your channel the best!
@@sanmateocoalition oh he must be referring to my camera/lens reccomendation for zoo visits. If you’re planning to shoot in night safari, best to get lens with f2.8 or lower. For bird paradise, longer lens will let you get “closer” most of my bird paradise shots are on 140-400mm (70-200mm with tc2x) For most general use case i recco 28-75mm f2.8, it’s the jack of all trades. Im on sony a7IV body ^^ If you have more specific case i can lend my advice as best that i know
Your doggie is the cutest ❤ Thank you for your recommendations! Didn't realize Singapore is soooo hot so I had to go slow and cut out a few things on my list like sentosa and Palawan Beach. Think I will melt if I go there. Today I'm excited to go to the botanical gardens and orchid display and tomorrow I will spend my last day relaxing in Fort Canning Park and exploring little India so I'm glad you had that on your top tier list. On the 26th I have a 13 hour layover before I fly home so I will use all your tips and enjoy the jewel, airport and rooftop pool🙏😁
Been to Singapore last year. I enjoyed it so much I had to go again. I was very happy to see that the chinese and japanese gardens are open this time around :) The last few weeks I have been watching your videos to get inspiration what to see and do.
@@dashingheights flight is next monday ^^ I will definitely be visiting the gardens and if I miss something just another reason for another vacation 😂👍
thank you for your encouraging words! I'm happy to be of help :) Personally i don't really recommend, but it's still a doable period. Just keep your plans flexible, there are still many places/things to do that are rain-proof. For example, GBTB domes are sheltered, and most hawker centers are also dry in the heaviest rains ^^
We are travelling to Singapore for 10 nights in December. Your videos are so helpful for my planning, especially your public transport and attractions videos 😊. I have heard that it is cash only at hawker centres. How much would a tourist typically spend (per person) per meal? Knowing how much cash to withdraw is worrying me.
Hihi, I'm very glad to be of help to you and your family :) Some do accept credit card, but not norm. For food, $7 per pax per meal for decent choices, drinks are about $2! Most shops accept credit card so don;t need to bring too much cash
I suggest just getting the tickets yourself. It is not necessary to get a guide in Singapore, it's very easy to just do it yourself. You can try the KLOOK-pass, which allows for flexible visit on multiple attractions. If you sign up as a "Singapore" account you can use my promo code and get %10 off ^^
Thank you for the love ^^ I have never been there on CNY, but my guess is all the local tourists will be busy celebrating with friends and family - resulting in less crowd. From a quick search, seems they also will have CNY themed events around the period, I think it's a good place to go on CNY because other places tend to be closed/half-closed anyway
hahah yes the clips i took was actually from Lavo, however i didnt really like the food so i didnt want to recommend~ Though it's still worth to just get a drink and sit there for a bit to take in the view
One thing good abt our nation is, it caters to everynids & every price councious travellers. The best part of the whole experience, you wont be ripped off by an unscrupulous individuals & scrammers. The safest city against the rest of others
PERSONALLY I never tried The Luge, but looks like it could be fun. I don't feel that it's something special to do in SG so i won't really recommend it. I rather hike around the trails in Sentosa than to get on The Luge because I get to see and experience more things about the place. However if riding downhill is something you want to do for fun it's definitely something to try. I'd say The Luge is a C tier. The Siloso beach is quite nice, it's the FURTHEST from the monorail area so it's often the least crowded. It's nice for a day out at the beach. The nearby fort siloso is also an interesting landmark to explore. The trick to a beach day is the company you're with, so it's fun to visit with friends and family. Bring some ball for games and food for picnic. HOWEVER, I dont find the sand to be any special, and this is only viable in the mornings or evenings when the sun isnt scorching. i would not recommend coming to Singapore just to visit the beach.... so D tier hahah
from midnight so 00:00 -> 12:00 ? in the midnight hours i recommend checking out the transit areas, i covered the highlights in my video here: th-cam.com/video/qBkYrZPdfM0/w-d-xo.html around 6 am i recommend leaving the airport to get to the city, i recommend doing the itinerary in the first 7 minutes of this video th-cam.com/video/HfBzECyIeVw/w-d-xo.html come again next time for longer ;)
Yo theres a shuttle from t4, you can take it to T4-T1 route, you’ll be closest to Jewel then www.changiairport.com/en/airport-guide/transport/transfer-between-terminals-and-jewel.html
Sentosa is a whole island, so it's hard to give it 1 ranking. The attractions on Sentosa that are on this list are the SEA-Aquarium, Universal Studios, Adventure Cove :) There are also others like the Skyhelix, Luge ride, Skydiving, Bungee jumping, but i feel those are not very unique to SG so i didnt cover

My tourist guide for tourist maybe, 1day Universal studio, 1day Gardenbybay / MBS / merlion, 1day zoo, 1day Sentosa activity / beach. (slot in 1night orchard road for shopping ) 😆 4days trip
sounds good!
Thank you for the superb explanation! A question though - Would you suggest Klook or get your guide to book tickets to these attractions?

Can you do the same ranking about KL or Malaysia in general? That would be very interesting for many
I can try! though I prefer to review after personal experience, so I will need some time and try out the Malaysian attractions first ;)
