    Thanks from your tips, when I visited SG last week I only spend like S$25 per day for food at hawkers, and S$10 for transportation (it can be less since I also explore almost the entire MRT system). For hotel I found a capsule for S$30 per night. Really great experience!

      yay! that's a great budget to work with. I agree transport can be even less if itinerary is planned within proximity.

    Yeah, last year i spent just around S$400 for 4D3N trip in Singapore. I ate so many good foods on hawker centre and roaming around using public transportation. I got a super comfortable capsule hotel to stay too. Definitely will do the same for the next trip to SGP.

      waaaaaw that's within a very good budget. SUPER value! which capsule hotel did you stay at? I'm currently planning to cover some budget options in person to give in depth insight so would like to hear from your experience ^^

    God , thank you for the hotel recommendations.... It is really helpful because from all of this , the most expensive of course is the hotel.

    • @dashingheights
      @dashingheights  วันที่ผ่านมา

      yeaaaa if you're willing to share space in hostels you can save a lot :)
      ANOTHER pro tip actually is.... say you have a group of 4,
      find a hostel with a 4 room-shared-bunk,
      in your booking, request for 4 bed in the same room.
      essentially your party of 4 get a "private" room!

    I'm cat sitting at the moment in Siglap and happy to be back in Singapore. Can you recommend a good and affordable supermarket for groceries please?

    • @dashingheights
      @dashingheights  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      welcome back!!
      For affordable supermarket us locals always go to ShengShiong or NTUC chains.
      Avoid COLD STORAGE their because their prices are always jacked up. Also beware of NTUC-finest, it's their high-end version.

      In Singapore we have some parks with fruit trees, but the streetside fruits don't taste as good hahahah
      and... in SG the gov body maintaining the parks made it illegal to pluck anything from their parks so it's kinda hard to enjoy
      I wish to visit Sri Lanka one day ^^

    Singaporeans who say Singapore is expensive would have only travelled to neighbouring countries which are definitely cheaper compare to home!
    If they have travelled to 1st world countries - eg. europe, they will know that Singapore is really incredibly affordable!!!
