TTQ: What are some things that the kids are obsessed with doing? My mom and i recently discussed the topic a few days ago. As a child, whenever there was a camera around, i would take my pointer fingers and make an upside down V shape under my chin, and i would smile very big. She has no idea where that ever came from! (I started doing it whenever i was 2-3yrs old) 😅 my brother was super hyper as a kid and would get easily cranky. She can't remember how it started but she would do this thing with my brother if he was cranky or bored. She would pick him up and hold him at her waist infront of her. She would grab ahold of his wrist or hands. She would lean forward as he leaned back and he would do a slow backflip down onto the ground. He was absolutely obsessed with doing it! He did it literally until he was to big for my mom to hold him! 😂❤
My twins are at the same cute age. My little boy (2 years, 3 months) says “hold you” also. Means he wants to be picked up or he wants me to help him balance etc. my little girl is a fireball! Must be a twin thing lol! Feeling you on all the parenting stuff Colleen! It’s HARD! Twins is HARDER! Im currently watching this vlog. Im at tge part of you talking about moments end with your kids. Yes they do and they are very much missed. I'm a single mother of 3 teenagers who currently don't even liked to be hugged anymore and that alone breaks my heart as thier mother. My kids are 17,15 and 14. I can't even hug them and I do try and find comfort in the past but that doesn't help me in the current because it just breaks my heart more. I do miss rocking the holding them etc. All I try to do now is help them not stay the way they are for thier own future relationships. But yes cherish those moments. Sorry for going on too long.
It isn't true for everyone, but I'm 23 and sometimes I still cuddle my parents. It doesn't have to go away, I find the deepest comfort in being in their presence and nothing helps my mental health more than a hug from my dad. It doesn't have to go away.

How do you keep track of the stages, when to change them, etc? As a “Type A” girly, I know I would have a spreadsheet tracking it all but I’m curious if you have any type of system with so many batches going at once.
I have 4 month old twins and im going to rewatch your vlogs from after they were born. Its helped me relate and find someone who has gone through it. Its the hardest things ive been through. Thank you for sharing your parenting with us.
