It is a big sculpt for superman. Although when he did return because of how he got his powers back he couldn't control how his body processed solar energy which caused him to grow and leave earth for a bit.
The infected body is great.. but it has short legs.. if you were to slightly bulk up and lengthen the legs it would be perfect. the page punchers body is also a very good superman sculpt, if they change the hands.. the hands on the vampire superman are perfect size.
One thing I do think the DKR Superman body mold does better then the standard McFarlane Superman body mold is the legs are more proportional with the rest of his body. Ngl though NO BODY needed this reuse.
Great photos, Shartimus! They seem different than other photos you've showcased in the past, not sure if you've used a different technique but they look fantastic.
I like this Superman but i prefer the blueif the green skin ver. I would had gotten both for head swap if the neck wasnt green. That killed my ideal image of this Superman, not to mention the lack of double joint elbows.
@@ShartimusPrime i agree this mold isnt good for a supes figure outside of tdkr for me mainly since TDKR is very stylized and mullet superman is literally meant to be the classic superman with a mullet hell if they reused that page punchers mold like they did with that recent classic supes they revealed with the same color scheme as this supes with the mullet i wouldve liked that way more than this
@@ShartimusPrime I like it cuz ... lol okay 😂 but there was this one time (😂 sorry🤓) right after (shortly after?) Reign of Supermen, there was a story line I remember where Superman was absorbing *too much* yellow sun and couldn't help it. he even had trouble controlling his strength. I remember Clark was changing a lightbulb at Lois' apartment and just crushed it. she thought he was showing off, but he wasn't and that was the first warning to him that there was a problem. he took it seriously and (I forget why this was happening or how) they fixed it, but not before Sups got ridiculously hulked-out. I remember one cover where he's just unreasonably jacked, floating in space cuz at this point he's basically afraid to touch anything. I remember this story line so I'm okay with him being Super-Swole 😅 as long as this figure doesn't dwarf Bane on my shelf when it arrives. 💪
Neither are a buy for me. I greatly dislike the DKR body used for this, so Plumper Supes will not be purchased. I also don’t need a GL Batman; I DO NEED a better Hal Jordan who isn’t simply on Jon Stewart’s body. The Batman is just another one for me to point at and go “there it is” and move on. So far Firestorm and Wonder Woman are the only two Collector Series figs I really like.
I customized this Superman to look more like the classic. Comment if you like or dislike. Link below th-cam.com/video/2DghuQ11kh8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Nc0_djeYnqElat1q
That Superman body is way too big. I won’t buy it for that reason and also that it seems like a cheap way to just reuse that Dark Knight Superman body.
The card art is Dan Jurgens, but the figure is full on Jon Bogdanov Superman.
That green Batman will look hella good on a light up stand.

Mullet Superman and Animated are my first Supermans . I really want to see this in a store so I can judge it .
I’m still waiting on a cloth cape for a Superman figure…..
Buy a mafex then that’s the best you’ll get
@@Marvel_Motions agreed i just bought the dark knight returns superman i hope it worth the hype
They gave the dog the cloth cape, the girl the cloth cape, but not The Man.
One released!
Sorry shart 4.30mins in ….. The superman and crypto don’t come with a flight stand …. Pretty frustrating that mcfarlane didnt include one
That infected body mold has been overused. Speeding bullets on the other hand, that one is nice.
Never did a headswap?
A lot of companies have been reusing not just McFarlane
It’s the way they did it that bothered me. Of course a ton reuse body molds. Shit, I tried starting a toy line reusing body molds.

I'm one of those people who likes TDKR Superman mold, yes, I exist😅
I like it too, just not on this particular version of Superman.

I actually really love this Superman figure I know it's not the best but I love it. 😅
Tu Prime! I’m in your corner all the way. Aka ForeverBoy
Should have used a picture or mullet Superman with Krypto instead of that for the card

This body doesnt work for a 90s superman. Its way too thick. The Hush Batman body also needs to go as its just way too big as well.

We need more krypto dog fig
Wish he'd sell Krypto by himself
I like the Batman, both versions. There's not many McFarlane Batman figures that I don't like though.

hi
Body really looks weird¡
Superman is way too bulky...it's a pass for me
Horrible! Mcfarlane has yet to give us a decent Superman!
What about the hundreds of Batman’s lol 😂
Neca did it!! 😉
