Just keep hammering the "Spot" button in regards to whatever console you use. You can see the little red arrow that appears above their head clear as day in-game.
its easy to dodge missiles, in a sim you would probably luanch chaff/flare and sigzag in order to dodge missiles, missiles in BF3 are completely different though, all you need to do to dodge them is by turning towards the missile source and driving sloped down to the ground with afterburners on. I play sims alot now but do appreciate BF flight aswell, mostly for its ground/air interaction, and casual/arcade/simplified playstyle.
Im trying to figure out how you do thole loops at 5:05. Its not a circle,not quite. Its not up/down, its not sideways either. I think thats a good way to get the enemy off your six. Hmm i watched it over and over and over, i cant seem to undertand how you get the loop the way you did. Would you mind explaining? I not bad in a Jet if I dont have another one behind me. You can see it from my videos. But the moment, I got a jet on my 6, forget it. Im dead meat lol. thanks....
It doesn't matter what any of you jealous players say....oh go to hardcore and than ill be impressed.......regardless one on one this guy will tear your ass apart....I mean he is ranked second in the world for PC flying on battlefield. Just accept the fact that he has some amazing set of skills in a jet and he will tear your ass apart.
guys i've realised that on pc, if you have that ultra mesh setting, you can see the little orange triangles from miles away.. on console you only see them when youre really close (after you've spotted them).. so what i do is spot infantry with guided missile camera, then try to remember where they are and go in for a strafing run :) (i have to fly really slow so when the triangle finally pops up i can adjust my aim for it)
And some more question: Which Mode did you play? Rush Caspian Border has no Anti Air, so it must be easy to make kills in Rush CB without AA, Did you played HC or Normal? Its easy to make kills in Normal, because you can random mark enemies and you can see the little red triangle of enemie in hardcare you only have your eyes and cockpit. Please don't feel offended, I like your Video and respect your skills. But I am a good pilot to and it can't impress me without knowing the facts mapmod,etc

Alright I will soon as my examns (about 4-6 weeks) are over I make such a gameplay, promised. But its just not my style to showcase it to the world. Its just your cup of tea, not mine. An btw it also depends against who you fly against. If it is all low skilled guys its more easy to get a high score. You will get the credits. I knew I will get some biters. Score doesnt say much, its about the skill and I do not doubt he has them. I just say its not that hard, especially if u make a lot of hours
its matter of choice .. if you go pure cas support ecm is needed since you need some time to finish of opponents, and if they lock you close to the ground flares might not work, where ecm prevents shooting the missile. But on kharg against noob helo and jet flares are very good. Also ecm can hide you on radar for stealth approach.
he has a video where he explains that he never uses flares, because ecm jammer actually takes you off the enemy radar and prevents lock ons, but the only bad thing about them is that if someone has already fired a missile at you, ecm jammers wont takee out the missile like flares do
When slowing down to the certain speed you need to get to turn much faster, use your after burners to help you regain to the speed. and use air radar. hopefully you'll figure it out how its suppose to work cause i don't think i got it fully down, but keep it in mind, good luck.
The thing I hate the most about Jets is when you fight a pilot just as skilled as you are and you guys are flying around in circles trying to get behind on another but never do till someone gets bored or jumps out....I once did that for 2 minutes then I just got bored and jumped out :(

I am having a lot of trouble with killing infantry in jets even on Mesh-Quality ULTRA. Why are they spotted for you all the time? Is there a certain trick? Can you make some kind of tutorial? That would be sick! By the way, very awesome and impressiv gameplay!
I'v just found some tutorial, guy explained specific turn names and explained it so now I understand better what's going on. Did you play other battlefield games and how much time did you spend in jets overall? I wonder how much time I'll need to become good pilot. Kinda tired of jet rape.
Maybe he accidentally defaulted the flares unknowingly when he entered the game. In any case, the ECM is superior to flares in every aspect. Same cooldown, far superior effect. There is no reason why flares should be used over the ECM, ever.

Well I personally use ecm myself, but some people like to start with flares and then use ecm later in the round. Flares are a bit more reliable to use than ecm when there is something already after you.
ECM after patch is still good, only on CQ jets too, since you can dodge easily the stingers/heatseekers with the after burner. But with a rush jet, doging a missle with the ecm is pretty hard to do so.

Set Meshes to Ultra in your settings. You'll be able to see them spotted from a huge distance away. The guns are the best way to take out infantry, most of the time at least.
In one of his Tips Videos I recently watched, he said something about the lighting being at extra so that you can see enemies from a far distance thats how he gets the one's on the ground.
Depends. ECM is a bit bugged because if you hit X too late the missile just keeps locking then fired. BUT I use it when other jets are using air radar. Otherwise I'd stick with flares.
To appeal to more people, The game is made for fun. Not spend 8402383840928409128 hours in a jet trying to get good. Everyone can pick this game up and fly and have fun.
Yeah what the other guy said.. Choose a place you know has high traffic to make a run on..Mash the spot button and listen carefully for your guy to say soldier spotted .. Eventually when they will come into range the little red arrow will come up, you have to be quick as the spotting range is quite short but aim for the base of the triangle for kills..

I should add don't be squad leader when you do this, as you won't get the audio cues.. Good luck though, it's a massively underused tactic and can be very deadly after a bit of practice,And even if you miss, the spotting in these high traffic places is very helpful to your team on the ground. I must ask, when you upload does it make the little marks over their heads seem smaller than in actual game-play? [seems like aiming reticule is blocking it] Because you remind me of those 20182391748 degree head-shot noscopers at the end of COD (which IMO sucks).... seems like every strafe run is a guaranteed kill for you (yes I get that there are 2x the people on the PC, but still. On console- 1) I quite literally have Nerf darts for my jets, and 2) I can never seem to find anyone)
Then you fail. The ECM is not meant to make you not get hit by missiles - it's supposed to remove the lock-on. ECM is by far the most powerful to use, 5 sec effective CD and 5 sec of no chance getting locked on. Flares fail more than ECM, therefore I use ECM and dodge the missiles that get launched at me.

Yes, the rush jets are much more powerful with the main gun than the conquest jets.
maybe it was before the patch, but more people tend to use flares since the ecm jammer fails quite often and u still get hit by the missile..
I'm hoping the Frogfoot and A-10 will be available for use in conquest in future battlefield 3 dlc's

When you know how to fly properly, it is not this hard :P. Even on consoles with the guided missle it's not hard at all XD.
ECM doesn't work very well on jets. it doesn't registre so the missiles hits you 9 out of 10 times even if you deploy it.
This is the first map I learned to really fly the jet lol awesome flying. One question is it easier to play on pc?

- Air radar
- Rocket pods
- IR Flares
U actually slow down while going up, not only because of gravity but by air flow disturbance

flares are not even necessary if you are good with ECM, and ECM is not necessary if you are good with extinguisher.
yes, rush jets have much more powerful machine guns than those of the conquest jets
