The Feral/Cinder controversy began, and throughout the entire 2021 holiday season and early months of 2022, the Jambassador hate posts and anti-Wildworks rhetoric continued, and due to the heightened emotions the Feral community felt after Feral was shut down for Cinder, there was a massive falling out between the community and Jambassadors. Suddenly, being a Jambassador was a dealbreaker and it meant that you supported Wildworks no matter what, and thus you were ostracized. I on the other hand did exactly what you currently do, discussing these topics without ever naming names, because I don’t think I’d ever forgive myself if I got some information wrong and “exposed” someone undeserving. I’d say that’s one of the main reasons I stepped down as a Jambassador. I was tired of the community coercing Jambassadors to speak out on issues that we didn’t know all the facts on, and I’m most certainly NOT the type of person to speak out on issues where I don’t have all the context and the facts. The Hyenine1 situation was perhaps the only exception I made where I openly spoke out, because when it comes to dangerous individuals in the community like that, I just can’t keep my mouth shut. We’re all built differently though, and it is cruel to expect the YOUNG Jambassadors to act as politicians for the community. FINALLY SOMEONE BRINGS UP THE REAL REASON BEHIND THE NO DRAMA LLAMA POST! I swear only like one person with a following (might've been Kek I don't remember) brought this up and everyone else seemingly ignores it. It was Wildworks being a little stupid and not thinking about what a poorly timed post could imply. Sometimes it feels like people deliberately hide the fact that new Jambassadors were getting so much hate and harassment for getting the positions they were chosen for, just to prove their point that Wildworks is an evil company. They're not professional and nor do I think they're good, but they're so bad because they ignore the whole grooming issue and never address it one way or another. They would never acknowledge the Hyenine1 situation openly like that, because acknowledging it at all, especially like that, would look terrible on the company. Them making the post about their new Jambassadors getting bullied online however would be considered a much better choice in their eyes because they are on the surface showing off an anti-bullying stance. I'd understand if children or even teens and very young adults misunderstood the post and perceived it to be a silencing of the Hyenine1 situation, but it was upsetting to see just how many adults didn't stop and think about the situation and made it worse. Also I agree, expecting literal children to have to sit and talk about something as terrible as grooming happening to their AJ peers when they are uncomfortable with it is extremely messed up, especially when there are arguably more qualified and mature people in the community who can and have done that. Etched jokingly referred to past Jambassadors as "political figures" in a recent video of theirs, but Jesus Christ people in the community really view the newer ones like they are. AJ should be used as escapism, and if these Jambassidors don't want to publicly bring it up then they don't have to. They can acknowledge the bad parts of the community, they can even joke about them, but having to sit there and explain the situation to other children is a lot to ask of a child who just gets to be part of their favorite game. That's all a Jambassador really is anyway, just a regular player who happens to be more involved with the game itself and host events for the community and advertising reasons. We already have AJ influencers who aren't Jambassadors that are mature enough to deal with situations like this and explain it in a way for the child playerbase to understand. Also while I'm on this point literally the worst part about Animal Jam right now are the older players who go on the 3D one just to harass children enjoying the game. Like this game has borderline gambling in it and these people are the worst part about the game. If you're one of those older players who bullies kids in the game for having the audacity to have fun, stop and genuinely think about why this is worth it rather than moving on and doing something better for yourself.

They were younger and more easily influenced, being fed harmful rhetoric about Jambassadors on a fairly regular basis, and it really made a lot of people in the community doubt the new ones who were chosen. Of course, I’m going to be fair and hold AJHQ accountable as well. They clearly weren’t thinking their decisions through very well and that “No Drama Llama” post came out at a very inappropriate time, coming off as VERY invalidating to the serious issues in the community. That’s a mistake that only AJHQ should’ve paid the price for. The community lost their heads and went after innocent Jambassadors, which was disgusting to witness. I was younger back then too and have had time to sort my thoughts out on the matter. I’m not on either side with this situation, as I feel the community handled it badly (most of them with good intentions, might I add. Not everyone was maliciously witch-hunting) and so did the company for their lack of clarity and transparency on the Hyenine issue. I feel like that wasn’t a good look for them to be making anti-drama posts during a time where the community was scared shitless of predatory individuals running free on the game. I just hope they’ve learned how to better handle situations like that in the future, because it created a lot of trouble for the new Jambassadors at the time. I also hope the community can stop pointing fingers at the wrong people because it’s getting old. That whole situation really wasn’t a fun way to exit the Jambassador program, I’ll say that much. I had to spend the rest of summer 2021 working on improving my mental health because it took a downward spiral from all the stress. 😓

During my time as a Jambassador between January 2019 - May 2021, I often made videos speaking out about the issues like the issue where children under 13 kept joining Feral, and boy did I trigger the 12-year-olds with that one. 🤣 I was just simply the type of person to educate people on those things and give a straightforward, no nonsense approach. That was just me, it was my overall demeanor. A lot of people were upset that the new Jambassadors didn’t follow that, and they labeled them as “fake” or even “bootlickers”. While I agree that some Jambassadors may have defended Wildworks at every twist and turn in the past, people have assumed that the Jambassadors are ALL corporate bootlickers and it’s really stained what it means to be a Jambassador. The actions of a few bad apples and the business decisions by Wildworks have unfortunately reflected badly on those who genuinely just want to do something good for their community. Having stepped back from the Jambassador program for nearly two years now, I’ve been able to see from an outside point of view on just why the community is so angry. Now that I’ve experienced it from both points of view, I feel way more knowledgeable on the topic of the community vs. Jambassadors than I ever have before!
New jambassadors just aren't the same. But they are younger jammers (for younger jammers) and I am older now. And the thing with them being over the top, hyper, whatever word you want to use, and people think it's cringe or too much, but then I get attacked for how I sound because I'm not all over the place, I don't have the energy to be hyper in videos. And people think I sound weird or they think I am sad. It's weird. Like what do you people want? Hyper or "sad"?
at the end of the day, the jambassadors are all still people playing the same game with different personalities and lives of their own. I found animal jam when I was in High school and going through a tough time. It was sorta like club penguin In the sense it’s a virtual world that you can walk around and explore in. Ever since I was addicted lol.
Nice video about the situation. It's interesting to hear how the Jambassadors aren't given huge guidelines for making content. And the AJ account posting a comment on your TikTok seems positive.
I haven't finished watching this yet, but something I would like to mention at around 4:47 about the ,,youtuber (man, I HATE that word) voice" thingy. When I used to do (cringe) AJ content on my old channel years ago, I never used my real voice, I instead used to put on an American accent to try and fit in with everyone else (I'm British, for those who didn't know). To this day, I'm still wondering.. why did 13 year old me think that was a good idea? I will finish watching this later!
This video just pop up in my recommendation, and I want to share my experience with people who relevant to Jambassadors (i mean relevant ppl not Jambassadors themselves), I hope it's not late for telling this. I once saw a drama, the story was that a jammer who had a double tails, and then another jammer came and asked if the double tails jammer can give that item for them for free, they said no and then that beggar jammer started to bully the double tails jammer. Everyone saw that and joined to stand with the double tails jammer. But then, one line of that beggar said made me to start thinking negative about Jambassadors: "I friend with atzel (or anketz something I dont remember), she's an jambassador and I'm gonna tell her to ban all of you". I was like: wait, Jambassadors actually can do that, what if I dont give them free and then they'll ban me? From that moment, I become hate Jambassadors (literally really want to quit the game because the game gives that such power to a random player). HOWERVER, I start to find more infor. about Jambassadors, THAT, they actually just simply players who advertise the game, and educate other players if possible. I think people hate them just simply their friends (or rude people) misunderstand (or just want to watch the world burned) about Jambassadors' role. And of course, lacking of information leading to the jealousy across players (I also jealous that they're famous and have cool badge). But still, AJHQ should more classify about Jambassadors' role (maybe add some line on their badge or introduction of their pack) to avoid unnecessary things like the misundersting I just said above.
Man I remember when I used to make videos on aj (deleted now) this makes me want to start over with a new channel. My channel had the same thing happen to you with your video, the only difference was the video that set mine off was one showing the create a outfit item contest stuff early. So thank you. I'll be completely honest here I have never actually heard of the newer jambassadors except for a couple of them which were mostly the AJ Classic ones and some were considered controversial not from actually being a jambassador but what was happening behind the scenes as far as I know Empyrea was a jambassador that did things on the game that were not suited for children and was banned with their rep being taken away from them idk if it is true or not but thats what i know for another reason why the community dislikes them
Very nice video, and I agree with most of the points you out out there. The jambassador seem very kind and only want the best. I hope they stop getting harassed so much, it does seem like they’re trying their best. Well, maybe not some with the inactivity and all, but even the inactive jambassadors don’t deserve so much hate and vile comments made their way. But I still have my issues. Especially with the more serious topics, like with hyenine. I understand why (especially minors) would be uncomfortable covering a situation like that, but every single jambassador avoiding it altogether completely doesn’t sit right with me. It’s important to keep children safe and talk about these issues head on. Even if it’s just one jambassador speaking up or even linking a video about the situation on an insta post, atleast something is being done. I’m sure the jambassadors have the best intentions, but again. Don’t just be a bystander. While I do wish jambassadors didn’t have to speak about this and would be able just to let Animal Jam take accountability and spread awareness, sometimes that’s not the case. Unfortunately, sometimes people need to do the heavy lifting for others even if it wasn’t what they did in the first place. In the end, a lot of this really isn’t the jambassadors fault and if we should be critiquing anyone, it should be wildworks, animal jam, and animal jam headquarters.
Back when i was growing up, i remember waking up everyday, logging on, and then opening up youtube while in class since we had "free time" in class, and as soon as everyone in jamaa would go insane and surround in one area screming something along the lines of "SUCH AND SUCH, CAN I GET AN AUTO" you knew immediately that 1.) The jambassadors were live, or 2.) They were recording and doing activities with the community so follow to enjoy it. Now a days, everyone doesnt even so much as glance at any of the new tubers direction, like recently wisteria was online, and made a new video and she ended up making me feel liie it was the old days again because that screaming and following was going on again. Tbh, i miss the old aj so much that it hurts.. please... we all need to work together like kijji said and bring back the old aj... as a older player of this community, it hurts to see how bad this community has fallen... the toxicity, the constant agony of seeing others so mean to the new jammer to drive them off... has to stop. Ty kijji for making this video. And keep up the good work.

I found animal jam when I was in High school and going through a tough time. It was sorta like club penguin In the sense it’s a virtual world that you can walk around and explore in. Ever since I was addicted lol.
Nice video about the situation. It's interesting to hear how the Jambassadors aren't given huge guidelines for making content. And the AJ account posting a comment on your TikTok seems positive.

I haven't finished watching this yet, but something I would like to mention at around 4:47 about the ,,youtuber (man, I HATE that word) voice" thingy.
When I used to do (cringe) AJ content on my old channel years ago, I never used my real voice, I instead used to put on an American accent to try and fit in with everyone else (I'm British, for those who didn't know). To this day, I'm still wondering.. why did 13 year old me think that was a good idea?

This video just pop up in my recommendation, and I want to share my experience with people who relevant to Jambassadors (i mean relevant ppl not Jambassadors themselves), I hope it's not late for telling this.
I once saw a drama, the story was that a jammer who had a double tails, and then another jammer came and asked if the double tails jammer can give that item for them for free, they said no and then that beggar jammer started to bully the double tails jammer. Everyone saw that and joined to stand with the double tails jammer. But then, one line of that beggar said made me to start thinking negative about Jambassadors: "I friend with atzel (or anketz something I dont remember), she's an jambassador and I'm gonna tell her to ban all of you". I was like: wait, Jambassadors actually can do that, what if I dont give them free and then they'll ban me? From that moment, I become hate Jambassadors (literally really want to quit the game because the game gives that such power to a random player).
HOWERVER, I start to find more infor. about Jambassadors, THAT, they actually just simply players who advertise the game, and educate other players if possible. I think people hate them just simply their friends (or rude people) misunderstand (or just want to watch the world burned) about Jambassadors' role. And of course, lacking of information leading to the jealousy across players (I also jealous that they're famous and have cool badge). But still, AJHQ should more classify about Jambassadors' role (maybe add some line on their badge or introduction of their pack) to avoid unnecessary things like the misundersting I just said above.
Man I remember when I used to make videos on aj (deleted now) this makes me want to start over with a new channel. My channel had the same thing happen to you with your video, the only difference was the video that set mine off was one showing the create a outfit item contest stuff early. So thank you. I burned out but now I just wanna make some more (on a separate account I normally make videos on a completely different account)

I'll be completely honest here I have never actually heard of the newer jambassadors except for a couple of them which were mostly the AJ Classic ones and some were considered controversial not from actually being a jambassador but what was happening behind the scenes
as far as I know Empyrea was a jambassador that did things on the game that were not suited for children and was banned with their rep being taken away from them idk if it is true or not but thats what i know for another reason why the community dislikes them
Very nice video, and I agree with most of the points you out out there. The jambassador seem very kind and only want the best. I hope they stop getting harassed so much, it does seem like they’re trying their best. Well, maybe not some with the inactivity and all, but even the inactive jambassadors don’t deserve so much hate and vile comments made their way.
But I still have my issues. Especially with the more serious topics, like with hyenine. I understand why (especially minors) would be uncomfortable covering a situation like that, but every single jambassador avoiding it altogether completely doesn’t sit right with me. It’s important to keep children safe and talk about these issues head on. Even if it’s just one jambassador speaking up or even linking a video about the situation on an insta post, atleast something is being done. I’m sure the jambassadors have the best intentions, but again. Don’t just be a bystander.
While I do wish jambassadors didn’t have to speak about this and would be able just to let Animal Jam take accountability and spread awareness, sometimes that’s not the case. Unfortunately, sometimes people need to do the heavy lifting for others even if it wasn’t what they did in the first place.
In the end, a lot of this really isn’t the jambassadors fault and if we should be critiquing anyone, it should be wildworks, animal jam, and animal jam headquarters.

Back when i was growing up, i remember waking up everyday, logging on, and then opening up youtube while in class since we had "free time" in class, and as soon as everyone in jamaa would go insane and surround in one area screming something along the lines of "SUCH AND SUCH, CAN I GET AN AUTO" you knew immediately that 1.) The jambassadors were live, or 2.) They were recording and doing activities with the community so follow to enjoy it. Now a days, everyone doesnt even so much as glance at any of the new tubers direction, like recently wisteria was online, and made a new video and she ended up making me feel liie it was the old days again because that screaming and following was going on again. Tbh, i miss the old aj so much that it hurts.. please... we all need to work together like kijji said and bring back the old aj... as a older player of this community, it hurts to see how bad this community has fallen... the toxicity, the constant agony of seeing others so mean to the new jammer to drive them off... has to stop.

In my own opinion I think kiji should most definitely be a Jambassador because he does quite an amazing animal jam content which was pretty amazing how he does it I honestly think she would be a fantastic Jambassador one day, I just like how he creates amazing videos and how he explains things specially towards other Jambassadors ❤ I just like it so much keep up the great work Kijikon 😊
