- Today Architectural Digest is welcomed by 'Pretty Little Liars' star Ashley Benson to tour her playful home in Los Angeles. Designed in 1930 by architect Arthur Kelly, Ashley's home is an Old Hollywood gem-and having had only three owners in over 90s years it's practically untouched. Inspired by her love of Europe and Nancy Meyer’s movies, Ashley enlisted interior designer Nicole Gordon, and architect John Farrace to help bring her home into the 21st century. From astronaut wallpaper to the ultimate coastal grandmother kitchen, Benson has created a playful space with something fun hidden around each corner.“I wanted to make each turn and each room-no matter the size-a unique experience.”

Agreed, not one wrong move in this house. I think part of it is the 1930s construction gives rooms that are reasonably sized and better proportioned than today's mcmansions.

Not the interior style I normally go for, but this really inspired me! The hotel feel, the playfulness but not busy as she said - it's really beautiful and inviting! Also really love the way the combined different colors and patterns with classic textures!

I was amazed by everything in this house. I loved how Ashley’s house wasn’t the typical “nude and blush” and how it was super fun yet cohesive. Def took a lot of screenshots throughout the video!

i love her nancy meyers kitchen, her space wall paper and everything paris inspired... love her taste! Its mature, but still playful.
I love her bedroom, looks so clean and cozy, but still has a bit of a retro feel with the nightstand and velvet headboard.

there's an adult space (beige, white, mute) and there's mood rooms! I like the laundry room, it really is more fun when you play with small rooms. You transform it to something you like so you enjoy & look forward to those adult mundane tasks.
