if you have dry skin stop misting AFTER your moisturizer it literally evaporates off your skin further drying it out, mist it BEFORE moisturizer and then put your moisturizer ON TOP to lock it in.
moisturizers are made up of humectants, occlusives and emollients. layering them over watery products (like mists) that have no occlusives or emollients in them will help to hold and trap that watery hydration that mists give onto your skin. misting over moisturizer does absolutely nothing but give temporary relief while prolonging dry skin
I live in a humid country and our top dermatologist said that moisturizer isnt that necessary. Cuz instead of get rid of dead skin cells youre accumulating it by that product and then u have to apply it again and again. havent used one for years.
