She was representing a segment of S.A. apparent from her stance... not journalism. Unfortunately, interview went into an exchange characterized by, as it were, S.A. has this why don't you have it, type of antagonism, S.A. and an undefined phrase "democracy" as the interviewer's lodestar, not to mention references to obviously western inspired (mostly U.S. and certainly not German) notions of free speech. Hopefully all this will not redound on the permit holders the interviewer brought up considering attitudes in that host country.

To be fair to this "war veteran", you can't expect her to criticize her government, otherwise she will have to live in South Africa for the rest of her days. This was a vintage ZANU pf performance,complete with it's disregard of facts and what other people think about Zimbabwe. She is ZANU through and through, and she has made her president very proud.
While we sift through this performance, can anyone tell me if the road from Beitebridge to Harare is complete now, and while at it, name two dams that have been built recently. Why are candidates required to pay in US dollars when Zimbabwe has its own currency, isn't this what the patriotic bill is trying to stop ? Zec is being unpatriotic here.
I have met Zimbabweans who are as uneducated as they come, who left their country because they couldn't find jobs in Zim. And she says they are leaving because they are educated? She is bonkers. Right now a lot of folks in Zimbabwe can't afford school fees, and too many children are dropping from school. Some have got to walk 20km either way to school in the rural areas, and you end up with cases that give up. It's so humiliating to be a Zimbabwean at the moment in the SADC region because they get accused of all manner of things , sometimes wrongfully so.
The minister must stop painting a rosey picture of Zimbabwe when everyone, except Zanu of course, know that it's not true. The education credentials she is still trumpeting is a thing of the past, Zimbabwe,s education system has collapsed along with other sectors of the economy.
Some people lie until they begin to believe their lies.
