awesome printer and such quality! i always thought one printer made from metal frame is most cheaper than aluminium one an you can reach the same quality, thanks for sharing!
Problem is you can't run V-wheels on anything other than aluminium extrusions. That's why Chinese manufacturers stick with it because overall it is cheaper than going with the linear rail system.

Why 2 motors in z-axis
can you explain
its 4.2kg of nema 17 then why use 2
It's because the x axis won't tilt down due to the moving (quite heafty) x carriage.
The presence of dual Z motors makes a firm Z axis.
