Haha thanks so much for the kind words. This particular project and client is one we love collaborating on, so we always want to do the best for the project first. There will always be paying jobs out there, but not always big creative pieces like this.
Here to say I just used this as a reference to a commercial I just directed and then I found your channel after the fact and holy shit you rock! Love your work. Keep doing what you do!
Hey Barret! That’s awesome, we hear that this project ends up in a few reference / treatments. So awesome to hear that and appreciate the support! We have lots more cool projects coming out soon.
I actually enjoyed a breakdown video for once, loved how the process was explained and how everything looks and worked out. Really helpful and Ill def be taking a lot of inspiration from this!
Ok, I just found you, just watched 4-5 videos of yours and still can't describe the hype I feel for your aesthetics guys. Just wow. From the camera angles to lights and color. I would also love to buy similar luts, the color grading is epic. Great great great job, guys. Thanks for the video!!❤
You guys keep pushing out great videos. I am primarily an editor but watching these videos is always insightful as they help me to remember to focus on story and also to convey what it is I am looking for to a director, producer or anyone on set that will aid the project later in the editor bay.
Amazing! I think having a holistic view on the entire project and getting view points across the board is always helpful. Thanks for watching and the kind words!
Great job guys! Writing scripts for commercial clients requires knowledge of their users (personas), their value proposition, project goals, etc. - it helps to know a bit about marketing principles and service design. Once you start... you see that there is no other way to do things. The results are much better and your value increases drastically. It will be a fun journey for sure. Best of luck!
Would love to see more of this and also more grip stuff. I see so many people talk about camera's. But I have no idea how to set up all those dolly tracks and light setups.
I´m getting really into this type of works and this video was amazing for clearing up a lot of doubts I had in this new process of my career. Thanks for this breakdown!!
Great results, you always come away with something really playful and fun. Even with all the hands on set, I'm just surprised you're able to bust out so many rigs in a one day shoot (dolly, slider, etc.). I think a lot of the amateur/just starting out guys are just going to do everything on the gimbal because it seems like the cheapest (time) way to get all the moves, but it's really not the same feel at all.
Great video with top notch explanation for each scene. Would love to see more on your tbar setup to get those sweet slider shots in a too down setting.
Would love to see a breakdown of the grade on this, always wanted to achieve this type of look, but never quite hit this quite right and wasn't sure if it's because I am Arri-less 😅
Amazing how this came out! I love the creative input into each piece to make it original. The one thing that stands out the most is the organization of it all truly inspiring and Milanote is sooooo good! Is there a sorce to that Shot List Google Document as well for sale? It looks so clean! Asking for a friend : )
We've made the shot list system available for purchase if you're interested in supporting the channel! Appreciate you. tenfold-production.sellfy.store/p/shot-list-system/
Loved this man. So many helpful moments in this video! Who do y'all normally use for VFX work?? Been looking for someone. Any other tips on set deck place tracking markers and how those can be utilized if you need some VFX work added to your video? I would love to hear about the relationship between the filmmaker and the VFX artist and how you plan to ensure you'll be able to get what you're looking for in post!
Hi! Thanks for watching, really appreciate the support. VFX always changes for us depending on the project. Often times you don't even need markers nowadays, it actually makes it much easier for them to track / track on phones etc. The trick is to consult with a VFX person BEFORE shooting to ensure consistency. If you intend to work with that VFX person, you're only making their lives much easier!
Great work, I love the look of this project! Did you use any diffusion filters on the lenses? Would be awesome to see a tutorial on the color grading process!
Hey, love th video! It´s great to see how you manage to established the scouting. I was wondering, if you can tell me what is the name of both aplications you used for the scouting, they look very helpful. I hope you can help me :)
Bro, you can do flip: H +V in the Mini Lf, as well as Mini 😂 Your AC actually flip the monitor 😂 Not mention, you can simply screw a square plate underneath into your handle and rig into the O’connor, workout just find. I can’t imagine you guy let the entire upside down for that. The only time we let camera upside down like that is because of Steadycam doing lowmode.
