THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS HOW AND WHY TO CHANGE THE PILOT JETS IN A MIKUNI CARB AND HAS SOME BASIC TWO STROKE TUNING INFO USING AN RD 400 YAMAHA AS AN EXAMPLE.
I’ve discovered that my 73 rd350 needs to go up to 27.5 or 30 on pilot with these Boyesen power reeds. I have the air screws turned all the way in and slides all the way down. Idling at 14 to 1500. It surged until I ran them in. I’m going to raise the needle one clip and try the 27.5. That’s one size up. What do you think.

Why put on safety wire? Don't you think that's a little overdoing it 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks before the video and sharing your knowledge it is much appreciated.
thanks, waiting on parts for my 75 brd350
Are you using Japanese screwdrivers. They are not Phillips. I’m sure you know just checking.
Love your videos Windy. Love the stories and all the tech info. I'm so proud to be part of vintage 2 stroke culture every time I hop on my RD.
Good information Windy. Thanks!
