    With PolyQuilt you can just "box-model" body topology and just wrap it around sculpt. And it much more fast and efficient than classic way of just throwing vertices around and trying to properly align them.

    Здорово! Thanks for the video! I noticed you prefer smooth brush over slide relax smooth, is that right? If so, is there a reason for this, or is it a habit?

    How retopology works ?
    Because if you make an object without much poligon how thé result seem like an scultping object. ( Excuse me if thé english is not perfect. I'm french and i don't have a good english )

      You might have learned this by now but there's something called a floor constraint that should let you set a plane as the floor and not allow any bones to pass through that plane. You'll have to make sure to set your object's alignment with the bones properly because I think the mesh can still clip through a bit, and since it's such a specific use case, I'll be looking for something that works with any object, but hope that helps. The constraints tab is the blue one that looks like a tread going between gears.

    OK I’m making a model and it’s going really good with the read apology but I just don’t understand how you get that much detail in retopology is it a bump map or a normal map? Or textureing? I don’t get it!

    Once you've done the retopology, how do you apply your higher details to the model ? Thx (y)

      You bake the normals from the high poly onto the UVs of the low poly. You can do that easily with Substance Painter.

      As told, you use texture baking to generate a normal map that will modify light behavior upon your model and fake high poly details.
      I will show this in the next video.

    Are you smoothing the topology out with sculpt tool? Or what is happening when you switch to sculpt mode? Thx in advance :P

      Yes I do :)
      I like using the smooth brush to even out the topology on large patches

    Hello , can you make a tutorial on how to export blender vfx to game engines please ?unreal engine 4 for example

      You can't export VFX from a DCC software to a game engine. you can use some of the data or assets but can't litteraly export the FX

      @@chaoticgames6041 You can prototype game FXs in Blender and then reproduce them in the game engine. the process is quite similar

    You dont have problems with transparency hmmm, i can see shit while doing retopo in hands, plus i really suck at retopo, in your rigging course you touch the face rigging too?

    I just learned of the concept of retopology and it seems insane to me that there's no sure fire way of automating it. So much time wasted on stuff you already did once.

    came here to maybe learn something about topology but your topology is kinda questionable.
