Hey Bigmanflynnjim, Thank you for the kind words! Great project car to have, I think the 939 159 is one of the most beautiful cars. There is only one 1.8Tbi in Singapore and it’s a wagon. I am glad I could help, this is very much a vlog for my repairs and stuff so I can remember what i did on my car. I have done a lot more things but sometimes i just don’t have the time or energy to video everything. I just did my water pump replacements, yes, replacements as the first pump was whining so i had to do the whole replacement one more time. Hours turn into days, but finally it all good and quiet! @7ulz540 Hi Hi, Thank you for watching my video! Are you saying if the water leaks into the door or water draining from the door drain holes? Rain water does seep into the door when it rains heavily but there is one problem with the 159 doors, the inner panels have to be sealed properly else water will seep into the car. The speaker will get drench with water if water fills up fast enough in heavy rains. If you have any questions, please ask. Cheers!
Hi Rick! The cable comes with the door handle so i think there is no part number. One way for repair to use bicycle brake or derailer cables, where it can be cut to length and clamped with an aluminium end piece. I have done that with my snapped cable and it seems to work, but it is as a spare. I have not installed it. Thank you for viewing and for the questions. Cheers!
