Yup, went thru that myself. Everything seemed fine when I talked to her and all of that but one little thing was off, she always talked to me differently than other people. Then we both said we liked each other and went out on dates and dated for a month, and then I asked her what her intentions of dating me was because I was putting in most of if not all of the effort, and she said “idk just to have fun.” Never incorporated me in her future, not like “I can’t wait to spend the summer together” or anything. Not even like “idk have fun not and maybe build something.” In her “breaking up” bs she said it was too serious too soon. She’d only reach out first when I was the only one available to talk to or if she needed something, and I let her do that shit for a month. And it was never serious, when we were out in public she seemed to want to avoid me as much as possible. I ask her to do something like play a game and she’d be like “nah” but right away would do it with her friends. Never really asked how I was doing or anything. Then she got mad and said I needed validation we were dating too much and that was because it didn’t feel like we were even dating, she never put in an effort to even make it seem like we were together. Yup, went thru that myself. Everything seemed fine when I talked to her and all of that but one little thing was off, she always talked to me differently than other people. Then we both said we liked each other and went out on dates and dated for a month, and then I asked her what her intentions of dating me was because I was putting in most of if not all of the effort, and she said “idk just to have fun.” Never incorporated me in her future, not like “I can’t wait to spend the summer together” or anything. Not even like “idk have fun not and maybe build something.” In her “breaking up” bs she said it was too serious too soon. She’d only reach out first when I was the only one available to talk to or if she needed something, and I let her do that shit for a month. And it was never serious, when we were out in public she seemed to want to avoid me as much as possible. I ask her to do something like play a game and she’d be like “nah” but right away would do it with her friends. Never really asked how I was doing or anything. Then she got mad and said I needed validation we were dating too much and that was because it didn’t feel like we were even dating, she never put in an effort to even make it seem like we were together. Truly sickening, know your self worth fellas.

I have male acquaintances that struggle with this. I’m in college and truly don’t have time to be dating or much of any other kind of socializing. I’ve gotten called in by leadership at work for not doing more OT because how much off-shift time I spend on hw. I’ve explained this to my male acquaintances and they pursue me stronger. They don’t seem to understand that I’m really focusing on my education. My job is cutting people that either don’t have a degree or aren’t in college. I need my job, so I _need_ to graduate from college. Once my guy acquaintances get that I’m really not budging on this, they turn rude or go MIA. It’s as if I’m not worth them knowing unless I’m moving towards being in a sxxual relationship with them. Like, dude, you can still say “what’s up”🤨. I might not be looking to date you, but that doesn’t mean I don’t see you as cool people. Just learn how to identify when a girl isn’t interested in _that_ kind of relationship, and see if maybe it’s worth having a platonic one.
