I think its because , they have to set the left stick to loose not self centre so the throttle doesnt spike up in confusion. Got mine this week but i’m not flying it until i buy dji care for fear of ending up like the end video
Tbh doesn’t even worth it, that’s not a true fpv drone. That’s just a pice of crap, that is between mavic and fpv. The most pointless thing I’ve ever seen
This made me laugh since I watched the very first clip. 0:02 A newbie like this who doesn't even know that throttle must be cut-off when you perform a low-air flip shouldn't be flying not just DJI, but any FPV. If not so then tell me what can you expect other than crashing?
I thought the same watching this first clip, and he isn't all that low, but man, you don't cut that throttle when inverted, you're headed to the ground quickly!!!
@@flywithtb5005 As a newbie, you fly in the middle of a desert, you're fine and you can practise as much as you like. You fly in the park and crash within 10 meters of a group of people because you performed a maneuver that you don't even know how and what the outcome is gonna be, but just because you wanted to, you're so irresponsible. That's my point. That's why I said he shouldn't be flying any FPV. Being a noob doesn't only mean that you're incapable of hard skills, but also the lack of "soft skills" such as emotion control (like how to stabilize yourself while you're panicking or disoriented in the mid-air), the precaution of potential risks (this means always check the environment for the dangerous spots before you take off, like electricity wires and small bushes that you might miss when seeing through the camera, as they could all be where you end up crash into), the awareness of public safety (how many people are there? in which direction are they moving to? Any "uncontrollable" objects around? like group of birds, kids and curious dogs.) These are all necessary steps that must be taken while noobs don't even know they exist. Their definition of flying is pushing up the sticks and then let the wind decide where I'm going. Shall I respect that? Or shall I apologize for criticizing being irresponsible? Go check the videos from best pilots, such as Mr. Steele, Le Drib and more. Even if they possess God-like skills, they always find a no man's land like abandoned factory or empty parking lot to fly. I've never seen them showing off overconfidently or flying close to people to attract attention. They always fly humbly and most importantly, responsibly. Oh BTW, my first and first 1000 crashes are all in the simulator so you won't be seeing them. Thanks for your concerning.
@@WaynePilot Honestly shut up. Curb your arrogancy. Don't you ever take a look at yourself. I wish somebody was like this to you everytime you crash. Nobody should try to learn fpv with a heavy, unrepairable 1300 bucks qua, get something small so you can't hurt someone seriously and train in the sim first
You kidding, all these people were wreckless I didn't use the sim , just launched and went slow, there are acrobatic fpv drones that you can crash and not care, this thing is powerful and useful with its range.
@@Hoffmanpack that’s not the point. Don’t learn on this drone. Not a toy. Instead but you done and learn to fly fpv with it. Then you can go full noob on dji drone.
I fault the pilots but also DJI for advertising to beginners with such a fragile drone. The avoidance and coordination features give the new pilot a false sense of confidence, so they switch to manual and eff it up with the first crash. I also felt DJI might have insinuated that this was a sort of "fast track" to learning FPV, but instead lots of people are turned off after obliterating a $1300 set-up. Truth is, I'm a year in and I STILL suck haha; but I love it. Best way to learn FPV: get yourself a little durable drone, take it step by step and plan to crash the shiz out of it. I have a $100 drone that's durable AF. I crashed it so many times and it just took right back off into the air like it was nothing. There's aren't even any propeller guards so how the props never broke is beyond me.
@@maniac_fpv , lol, thank you Sir. I love the comments section and your first comment was very good, thought I'd joke right along with it. Have a great day!
One thing I’ve really wanted someone to do was take apart a DJI FPV drone and place the components into a normal carbon fiber frame with 2306 motors, so that you are able to fly it with the Grey fpv controller and also use the DJI goggles on the fpv drone channel. Way better connection and link quality
@@congestedgoblin2575 Oh. I see. You bought one and got offended by my statement? I would hate to be you. It's an opinion dude. Deal with it. Being rude isn't helping.
This is why you get the refresh coverage. Happy I did after a 70mph collision with a tree in my yard 😂. Camera was hanging off, prop was bent straight up, branch sticking out of the frame and that thing still recovered itself and auto hovered.
Some of these kids seem to be ultra careless. Took me over a month of work to afford this thing, these people playing on manual mode are just like children driving cars. Makes me cringe but good content.
Actually it is very good , people are just trying to fly manual before they are ready . It's totally expected as so many people today simply want instant gratification and don't care about taking responsibility for their actions . I started flying 6ch collective pitch helis way back in the FM radio days then started building drones when we had to use separate gyros on each arm just to hover . I've progressed through the 1st DJI flight controllers , Eagletree etc on my DIY builds then purchased the 1st consumer ready drones as they were released . Phantoms , Yuneec Typhoons , Mavics all were very good drones for their time . I currently still build my own but when DJI released this I immediately purchased it after flying a friends . It's like a Mavic that can do flips and rolls while taking decent cinematic video . People that have never flown a full manual RC drone or heli should not be trying to do so below tree top level and then blame it on the drone ,LOL . DJI has given us an option of a full aerobatic camera platform that still includes a RTH feature and full stabilized flight modes . Used correctly this thing rocks .
