Didn't expected that the DJI FPV would be that stable with turned off motors ! Although not intended this seems to be the result of its special aerodynamic design together with its low center of gravity. So basically the altitude you can reach with given battery capacity plus a small reserve for landing defines the maximum altitude you can fly. Awesome !

very good flying, my compliments. I especially was impressed by your idea to cut the throttle as you were descending, to save power. I'll have to experiment with "prop feathering" myself, but from a much lower altitude. Other people who make flight test limits videos, never have a plan for the low battery situation but you did! I would also point out to people wanting to test horizontal range limits to always egress against the wind and ingress (returning) with the wind. Also remember that wind speed decreases with altitude. Use that to your advantage. If you MUST ingress against the wind, stay LOW! Happy and safe flying to all!

I tried it with different modes N, S, and also M but because of this failure (critical low battery warning which don´t let me go higher). Is there a trick or is it because of the low temperatures which could hurt the battery in this hight ( up to -20°C) ???
