They're beginning to pilot PPF installation at some service locations, but I don't believe it's offered everywhere yet. I'd just check with regular local detailers in your area, there's nothing special about applying PPF to a Tesla.
From what I've seen in my research there's certainly overlap between the low end paint jobs and the high end PPF that you pay someone to do paint correction then install for you and. DIY PPF is far cheaper than any paint job unless you hit the car with a bunch of cans of spray paint... Also a paint job will have a gradient over time of looking great to looking rough. A vehicle with a good quality PPF will continue to look good throughout its lifespan.
Wow, another special video well worth viewing on how to do a proferrional DIY of PPF yourself... Thanks for your help kind sir.
Thanks!
Looks like we are going to get the well-oiled team on this wrap!
😄
You got your racks/Rails!
Yep Tesla installed them 2 weeks after we bought the Y which I included at the end of the video when we purchased the Y.
If this is too outside my wheelhouse, does Tesla do this for a fee at their service locations?

how strange, affordable whole body paint only costs 4-5k, and the full PPF is close to 7k, making no sense if you do your research.
