Sir, I just had to remove the broken plastic piece from my Triumph Fuel assy plate. Your "Hot Screwdriver" method was an absolutely perfect solution to my broken fitting issue. Thank You.
Thank you very much for your Amazing video ❤ I followed your steps exactly and asbyou explained within 2 mins both were out ready for the new metal ones 😊 Thank you 😊 🙏
Good video. Just gone through the same procedure (Daytona 955i). Success. Tip---Use a 10mm bladed screwdriver preferably with a hex moulding at the base of the screwdriver handle for a ring spanner. You don't need to get the blade red hot, just hot enough, plunge the blade until it stops. Practise the heat on the broken part that fell off. It's not difficult at all.
Amazing I love the triumph community thanks bro I disconnect 1 and the other broke wow 1st search forum led me straight to answer 12 Tiger 1050se &04 Sprint Rs
hey man, really sorry just now seeing your request. by now you've probably found them. here you go, i can't post a link so when i say "dot" it's the period. quickcouplingsDOTnet, product LCD10004BSPT - 1/4 BSPT Valved Coupling Body
Great, informative video, thanks for posting. Just for info, the replacement female connectors in stainless are available from RS Components for those in the UK. You'll need some PTFE tape around the threads.
Thanks for the great tip. My plastic piece was stuck tight enough that the screwdriver, even when cooled down, started to mangle the plastic fitting. I ended up heating an Allen wrench to get more contact points, and used the same technique. It worked like a champ. I am still getting a leak where the new fitting screws into the tank. I used plumbers tape that bunched up a little. That could be a problem. Also, does anyone know how tight this fitting should be screwed in? I may not have tightened it enough but am also fearful of over tightening.
That little vacuum that shows there on the video pointing at The area you were working on should there be a hose on that and if so where will it be run to ?
Arthur98555, I believe that you’re referring to the pressure regulator - it ought to have a hose on it going to the air box, I believe, not to the inlet/throttle bodies anywhere as it doesn’t require a vacuum.
Good morning mate. watching your video it is extremely easy to remove the fuel line connector. But I have a small big problem. The start of the thread has broken, I have tried to take out as you indicated and it is impossible for me to remove it, you have some other idea, thank you very much
I just did mine. Tank is easy to get off. So is the air box. Be careful with the air box. One screw underneath center of the box. They , make metal aftermarket tank connections. Hey male and fe,al . Use a silicone seal on the tank side at the screw in part.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I already broke a new one.
I know this video is old but my tiger is having the same problem! I have ordered the new parts. Did you just use teflon tape on the threads?
Man, FOCUS PLEASE! Anyway thank you for the info.

that's a breather hose, i don't think there are any vacuum lines on that bike (or any bike??)

Should I order two and replace both the top and the bottom one?
sorry for late reply man, yes, definitely do them both at the same time since they both suffer from the same condition.
Any chance you could post the part details, I need to do the same job please
hey mate. did you stretch Teflon tape or something similar over the thread? BR from germany
Yes! U can see it on threads, sorta.
I wouldn't use a pencil to prevent it from leaking gas.. As it's not a leaded operated vehicle 😛
Going to deal with same shit tomorrow, one of my couplers broke today.
