Hawk is very underrated in season-5. Yes Kyler did mange to land a few hits on him and throw him but he never won lol, if the fight continued, hawk would have easily beat him. and in the match hawk was only using miyagi-do for the first two fights and when tried to use both styles, he was caught off-guard by kenny.

Actually, in s3 Hawk was fighting a lot with Stiven. It took him the entire episode to beat him and Stiven landed a lot of hits on him. So Hawk struggled more with Stiven then Sam did with Paul but Stiven > Paul so idk

So hawk beating Stiven puts him above Sam
And no Tory beating Stiven isn’t a counter argument as Stiven had just been ko’d by hawk and was just about getting to his feet when he fought Tory

Stiven held his own against hawk and paul together in a background shot which is a better feat for him than Sam being kicked by Paul. This cements Stiven above sam and further cements Hawk above sam in the house fight considering he begged Doug who performed better in the house fight than any other cobra kai student aside from hawk and Hawk also negs paul anyways. And as for Tory she got packed by the same sam and only knocked out a Stiven who has already been knocked out several times by Hawk.

Yikes I thought Hawk would be ranked higher because he beat Robby fair and square during season 4 but is now ranked lower than Kayler in which he destroyed during season 4 but then Kayler during season 5 was able to land a hit on Hawk probably because he got better

Yeah it’s a possibility, I used to put Tory cos of that because I thought she was relative to sam but the thing is it took Tory having a massive rage amp and using a weapon along with sam being super unbalanced for Tory to be relative to sam in the first place, so because Tory’s scaling is vague in s2 I’ll give hawk the benefit of the doubt

​@@Ezra983Tory was fueled by a rage amp and possessing a weapon while Sam was unbalanced as hell is why they were even remotely relative, Sam didn't even want to fight Tory as she was only fighting defensively. Hawk is shown to fight on par with Miguel who with 5eps of training was alrdy able to beat 4 kids bigger than him at once. Hawk more than likely just flat out beat Tory and took her bandana he doesn't need to sneak attack I think he just chooses to bcuz it goes along with the theme of a "Hawk"

@@AvoiidedScales because in episode 7 he did comparative to Robby against chozen and was established to be on the same level as Miguel and Robby but then later gets clapped by Kenny and kyler, even if you excuse the loss to Kenny, he struggled against kyler while using his stronger style, this can’t be attributed to kyler improving due to hawk not training much because Demetri trained even less than hawk as he had a summer job and he negged kyler in 2 blows
So to cut it short, Hawk appeared to be a dangerous fighter until episode 8 where he was no longer a threat
In fact I’d say hawk got weaker right after his loss to Kenny because he was on par with Kenny with his weaker style but then with his stronger style gets pressed by kyler who should be weaker than Kenny
So I’d say hawk pre-Kenny fight > Sam > Tory > hawk episode 10 >= kyler > Kenny

Tory is number one in season 5, she has the highest attack power and according to Newtonian laws, her durability equals the force she outputs so even if the others are more skilled Tory will just tank every attack and dish out way more force and neg them all
As for Sam we can’t give her credit for shit kyler did in his fight with Hawk because Sam and kyler have never fought and have no comparable scaling this season, the only teen Sam beat this season was Devon who has no feats outside of getting massacred by tory, so we can’t upscale her above hawk for something another fighter did
And let’s not forget that in the past Sam has struggled with fodder like Paul so let’s not pretend like kyler pressing her like he did hawk is outlandish.
Season 5: Tory > hawk > Sam

Well, what can I say about this video? I agree with most of what you said, except for two things:
First of all, season 2: It really is implied that Hawk beat Tory, however, we don't get to see this fight, possibly he off-guarded her just like he did to Penis Breath, also, even if he did beat her, I don't think it was an easy fight, I mean, we all know how cocky season 2 Hawk is, in the fight against Miguel, he was being folded, but then he hit Miguel ONCE and asked "is that all you've got?", and he literally didn't do anything after that, and even before, so, I don't think this would put Hawk above Tory in season 2, although it is debatable.
Now, the part I disagree the most is definitely season 3, because, although Sam did struggle with that guy named Paul, this was when she was unbalanced, that is, not at her best, and we know how being unbalanced affects Miyagi-Do fighters (such as Hawk in season 4, who went from losing a point to a random fighter, to fighting on par with Miguel while only using Miyagi-Do) So, I believe Sam would be above both Hawk and Doug in this season, if she’s balanced, and Tory did alright against balanced Sam, so she should be in second, but once again, that’s just me. As for Tory, she clearly was struggling against that guy named Jason, because she wanted to fight Sam, so, I don't think she was going all out against him.
Now, for season 5, I have just two words to say… AT LAST! Finally someone who agrees with me, both Tory and Sam showed much better feats than Hawk this season, with Sam being above Tory, because she did better against Sensei Kim, whilst Tory just got folded, but yeah, both of them are better than Hawk, I just don't think Hawk would be below Kenny or Kyler, that is, the Silver Bullet was something Hawk wasn't expecting, probably if Kenny tried again, Hawk would counter it, as for Kyler, I believe Hawk underestimated him due to how he folded him in their last fight, but anyways, it's clear that Hawk is below Sam and Tory in this season.

For season 2, while it is vague, the reason I put hawk above is because Tory has virtually no other scaling to anyone else in the verse since she loses to a version of Sam with 0 scaling despite her having a huge rage amp and using a weapon. Just purely because there aren’t any feats to contradict hawk being above Tory i put hawk above but honestly it’s just giving him the benefit of the doubt. Your point about Miguel destroying hawk would only be valid if you could prove Tory would do better against Miguel than hawk did, for now all that does is upscale Miguel even higher above Tory and prove Miguel is just that good
For season 3, there’s no proof that Sam was unbalanced against Paul since she only got that nerf when she came face to face with Tory after she beat Paul, since her getting unbalanced is specifically about her feelings towards Tory so there’s no reason to think she was unbalanced against Paul. Tory doing alright against “balanced Sam” is just kind of vague because that was a weapon fight and weapon fights don’t correlate to who is the better fighter in hand to hand. We also can’t prove that she wasn’t trying against Jason since she even screamed no mercy at the start of the fight so there’s no reason for her to hold back against anyone. You brought up her struggling against Jason because she wanted to fight Sam but if anything this would mean she would try hard because she would’ve wanted to fight Sam so she would’ve tried to make quick work of him to get to Sam, regardless it’s headcanon to say she was holding back against Jason since we can’t prove that.
For season 5, we can’t prove that hawk would counter the silver bullet unfortunately. And as for your point about kyler, you could make some kind of argument that he wasn’t going completely 100% all out since he didn’t strike first at the start of the fight, regardless he was pressed by kyler and is somewhat relative to him even if we give this the benefit of the doubt and silver bullet Kenny is several times implied to be a good bit above kyler. But I’m glad we can agree on season 5
