Foods here in the states has gotten out of hand with the prices. A small serving of Mac, tater tots and some bacon bits dressing costs $10 dollars???? A donut thing with hamburger meat and cheese costs $14 dollars. Damn, our economy is so messed up!!! I bet you those two items would cost less then $3 dollars in most Asian countries.
That fair charges the vendors 30 percent of their gross sales right off the top so they have to adjust the prices accordingly. The prices have gotten way out of hand in recent years.
As a Washingtonian, I refuse to call it anything other than the Puyallup fair. It's not Puyallup's fault it took Washington state dozens of decades to co opt their fair. That being said, great video.

Born and raised there. Our music teacher Mrs. Cosby (maybe Ms. Cosby it was a different time) taught us the song Do the Puyallup and the school district gave all of us kids a free ticket to entry.. A highlight of my childhood. Awesome video! Definitely check it out on a weekend at night.

A Fleischküchle is more like small panfried meatloaf composed of beef and pork, bread, onion and parsley. Its usually eaten in a breadroll or with gravy and mashed potatoes . In Bavaria its called "Fleischpflanzerl" and "Bulette" or "Frikadelle" in the rest of Germany. Greetings from Freiburg, Germany!

Well in Vietnam you’re buying from a Local business. Every restaurant in the USA has to over charge to compensate for all the fees and loopholes you have to jump through to sell food legally.

Sorry, but I feel the need to point out that pirozhki is not a cheeseburger. Cheese is definately an american addition, not a bad one, but still not something people here in Ukraine think when they imagine a pirozhok (singular form of pirozhki). Pirozhki are basically oil-fried pies with various fillings, usually meat, cabbage, mashed potatoes, cottege cheese, apples, cheries and various berries.
This is fair food. Almost all the stalls are taking something standard and making them more extreme/outrageous/unique/calorie-filled. I thought that was apparent from the premise of this video.
I just love your channel and watching you sample fair food, but I have to say I would never pay those prices. Families must go bankrupt if they eat at those stalls. But it’s fun to watch you and then make my own variation of what you eat.
My friend, you did yourself a HUGE disservice if you came to Seattle and did not have a Katsu Burger!!! Katsu Burger started just a few years ago, and there are eight of them now. The meat, whether it's hamburger, pork or chicken, is dipped in batter, coated in panko bread crumbs, and then deep fried. The toppings include shredded cabbage, Japanese mayo, tonkatsu sauce, curry mayo, wasabi mayo, miso honey mustard... There's even a Mt. Fuji burger that includes beef, pork and chicken patties with an egg, three kinds of cheese and three sauces. I haven't tried that one, but if I did, it would take me two or three meals to finish it!
That Nashville Hot Chicken Waffle is similar to a meal at KFC in South Africa, its called KFC's Uncle Waffle Burger, basically chicken with cheese, mayo, syrup between two waffles and it tastes disgusting, lol

My local place does a nashville hot chicken donut. Burger and it's one of their most popular items. They use chicken thigh and crumb it themselves, use a hot nashville saice, served in a glazed donut with slaw, pickle and a dill yoghurt sauce to help cool it. Definately better than that nashville waffle with the frozen tenders
