To everyone commenting/asking for English translations of these books, these books are meant for serious students of knowledge who want to begin their journey into the sciences in Islam, which also means they need to learn Arabic. Arabic is the key to the sciences of Islam, without it, you can only dream about becoming a serious student of knowledge. Firstly, being a Ḥāfidh doesn’t mean anything if one doesn’t even learn or ponder upon the ayāt one is memorise or even reading, through shuyūkh. Secondly, I am sorry for what you’ve suffered in the past, may there be something better in the future for you, in shāʾ Allāh. Thirdly, about ʿĀishah رضي الله عنها. I feel a bit sorry for you that you’re influenced by the islamophobes’ paradigm and worldview of the 7th century’s. Be consistent in this for if you do, you’ll actually realise that you’ve bashed all other religions because of what is in their books, so if you’re still interested in Islām, or maybe any other religion, look throughly before trying to misinterpret anything we’ve no knowledge of, especially if other scriptures have no record of commentators of the scriptures itself when it was revealed. (depends on the religion) Naʿam, what I’m saying is Islām still has a main source of accurate reference, back to the time of the Prophet ﷺ then any other world religions to prove their authenticity. Just try to learn ʿUlūm Ḥadīth and you’ll see why. Events what happened in Medina has already been debunked by apologist such as Farid Responds and others, even by the ʿUlamāʾ past and present. It’s ironic though that people of the past didn’t bring the up arguments like this and ʿAishah child marriage arguments etc till only the recent times 20th century+. If you’re now an atheist, then I’ve no idea how you’re going to adapt to a “belief” that doesn’t have a system of properly judging between right and wrong but instead judging others from what they *think* it’s right or wrong, though mainly getting what’s right and wrong from other religions themselves. If you’re enjoying and have a comfortable life now, or at least have a better condition of life than u used to, then think about this. Isn’t there supposed to be eternal happiness for us since we have the wealth, fame, people etc off this world? Lots of wealthy and famous people have lost the meaning of life. Even from another point of view, we all we all Know one day we’re going to die, as we for a fact we’re not immortal. If we just think about it, then what’s the point, whether being rich or poor, unknown or known etc, living, just temporary enjoyment? Or is it more than just that? And if there’s no concept of being accountable for one’s actions, then all the oppression, rape, murder or anything bad as that will be done by anyone as they have no sense of fear of a Divine Deity that’s going to hold them accountable for every bit of their actions they do. That’s where religion comes in. Why? As it gives you an aspect or a perspective on how to live life here on earth. Now, for a fact and being honest is that I want you and your family to return to the Haqq, Islām. But I or muslims don’t want to force, especially if it’s blind faith and ignorant of the texts of the religion. In this case, use your standards that you have right now against Islām to other major world religions. Not only that but learn about their ʿuṣūl, practices and see if it matches your logical mind. Those prejudices against Islām have a far better reasoning behind it’s aḥkām than other religions have, but you just have to search for yourself. You’ll see the difference in what you think is “oppression” of women and children in Islām when you really study into the other major world religions. Islām really emphasises on modesty, shyness and many other morals as a woman and teaching it to their children. If you’re going to have a liberal or secular view, then I’m afraid that I don’t know what to say when people say to have “freedom” and all but being hypocritical at the same of their own standards towards other people that disagree with them. Don’t be too attached to this world if you really want to know the purpose of life. I don’t want you to reply to this but to just ponder and think. Assalamu'alaikum, excuses me as a learning Muslim I really want to do Shalat, Dua, Wudhu and others the prophet way. While knowing the reason behind what we do is important but as someone who haven't have the chance to learn properly because the lack of available time I can't do this deep studies yet. I will really appreciate it if you can make the short version like 10 minutes of the proper way of shalat, 5 minute of Dua, just the essential thing so I can apply it immediately, then when I have time I can learn more properly with longer video or reading the books.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the Muslims from celebrating any Eid (an annually repeated celebration) except for the 2 Eids. And every Friday “jumuah” is an small Eid for us Muslims. Thanksgiving or birthdays are the Haram kind of Eid. Allah knows best. Hadith backing: Abu Dawood (1134) narrated that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came to Madinah, they had two days on which they would play. He said: “What are these two days?” They said: We used to play on these days during the Jaahiliyyah. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Verily Allah has replaced them for you with something better than them: the day of (Eid) al-Adha and the day of (Eid) al-Fitr.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawood. Look up the Muwatta by Imam Maalik, it a hadith book collected and written within By Imam Maalik, who was taught by the freed slave “Nafi’” of the famous Sahabah, Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). To everyone commenting/asking for English translations of these books, these books are meant for serious students of knowledge who want to begin their journey into the sciences in Islam, which also means they need to learn Arabic. Arabic is the key to the sciences of Islam, without it, you can only dream about becoming a serious student of knowledge. If you don't want to become a student of knowledge and prefer more casual reading, then I would recommend the following books which are translated into the English language:
-Journey to Allah by Ibn Rajab (Dar us Sunnah edition)
-40 Hadith of Imam Nawawi with any good commentary
-The Preaching of Islam by Thomas Arnold

Firstly, being a Ḥāfidh doesn’t mean anything if one doesn’t even learn or ponder upon the ayāt one is memorise or even reading, through shuyūkh.
Secondly, I am sorry for what you’ve suffered in the past, may there be something better in the future for you, in shāʾ Allāh.
Thirdly, about ʿĀishah رضي الله عنها. I feel a bit sorry for you that you’re influenced by the islamophobes’ paradigm and worldview of the 7th century’s.
Be consistent in this for if you do, you’ll actually realise that you’ve bashed all other religions because of what is in their books, so if you’re still interested in Islām, or maybe any other religion, look throughly before trying to misinterpret anything we’ve no knowledge of, especially if other scriptures have no record of commentators of the scriptures itself when it was revealed. (depends on the religion) Naʿam, what I’m saying is Islām still has a main source of accurate reference, back to the time of the Prophet ﷺ then any other world religions to prove their authenticity. Just try to learn ʿUlūm Ḥadīth and you’ll see why.
Events what happened in Medina has already been debunked by apologist such as Farid Responds and others, even by the ʿUlamāʾ past and present. It’s ironic though that people of the past didn’t bring the up arguments like this and ʿAishah child marriage arguments etc till only the recent times 20th century+.
If you’re now an atheist, then I’ve no idea how you’re going to adapt to a “belief” that doesn’t have a system of properly judging between right and wrong but instead judging others from what they *think* it’s right or wrong, though mainly getting what’s right and wrong from other religions themselves. Humans can make mistake in judging whats right and wrong, especially if they aren’t Al-ʿAlīm.
Lastly. If you’re enjoying and have a comfortable life now, or at least have a better condition of life than u used to, then think about this.
How come many successful people and more wealthier people than you and me have gone through depression and some even suicidal though having everything of this world?
Isn’t there supposed to be eternal happiness for us since we have the wealth, fame, people etc off this world? Lots of wealthy and famous people have lost the meaning of life.
Even from another point of view, we all we all Know one day we’re going to die, as we for a fact we’re not immortal. If we just think about it, then what’s the point, whether being rich or poor, unknown or known etc, living, just temporary enjoyment? Or is it more than just that?
And if there’s no concept of being accountable for one’s actions, then all the oppression, rape, murder or anything bad as that will be done by anyone as they have no sense of fear of a Divine Deity that’s going to hold them accountable for every bit of their actions they do.
That’s where religion comes in. Why? As it gives you an aspect or a perspective on how to live life here on earth. Now, for a fact and being honest is that I want you and your family to return to the Haqq, Islām.
But I or muslims don’t want to force, especially if it’s blind faith and ignorant of the texts of the religion. In this case, use your standards that you have right now against Islām to other major world religions.
Not only that but learn about their ʿuṣūl, practices and see if it matches your logical mind.
Those prejudices against Islām have a far better reasoning behind it’s aḥkām than other religions have, but you just have to search for yourself.
You’ll see the difference in what you think is “oppression” of women and children in Islām when you really study into the other major world religions. Islām really emphasises on modesty, shyness and many other morals as a woman and teaching it to their children.
If you’re going to have a liberal or secular view, then I’m afraid that I don’t know what to say when people say to have “freedom” and all but being hypocritical at the same of their own standards towards other people that disagree with them.
Don’t be too attached to this world if you really want to know the purpose of life.

Assalamu'alaikum, excuses me as a learning Muslim I really want to do Shalat, Dua, Wudhu and others the prophet way. While knowing the reason behind what we do is important but as someone who haven't have the chance to learn properly because the lack of available time I can't do this deep studies yet. I will really appreciate it if you can make the short version like 10 minutes of the proper way of shalat, 5 minute of Dua, just the essential thing so I can apply it immediately, then when I have time I can learn more properly with longer video or reading the books.

Do you recommend any specific youtube channels or books that provide good explanations (in either Arabic or English) for this book of hadith? This will be my first time formally studying a book of hadith so any suggestions would be appreciated.

How are we meant to access these books? It’s hard to go to Umrah and when you look online it’s hard to find the right publisher ?🤣

Hi everyone my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters Allah has warned Muslims in the Qur'an not to believe in or trust in any hadiths other than the Qur'an Allah has refer to Quran as a beautiful hadith and can't be fabricated so if we have to obey Allah we should not believe or trust in any hadiths outside of the Qur'an.know that all those called authentic hadith books are full of fabrications , lies and contradictions attributed to prophet Muhammad after his death most of those books came to us two and half century after the death of prophet Muhammad so my brothers and sisters in Islam this is a warning from Allah don't let nobody lie to you or fool you to believe hadith books

You do realize that Allah tells us in the Quran to follow Him and His Messenger, and that we rely upon the authentic hadith to know the details of Salah, Hajj, Zakat intricacies, the seerah of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and more specifics of our Religion? Look up the Muwatta by Imam Maalik, it a hadith book collected and written within By Imam Maalik, who was taught by the freed slave “Nafi’” of the famous Sahabah, Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). When was it written?
