Which Tafsir is Best?
***For beginners:
1. Tafsir as- Sa3di (If you know arabic (1 vol). But it has also been published in urdu (darussalam, 3 vol) and english (iiph, 10 vol))
2. Tafsir A7sanul Kalam by ar-Rustumi (if you speak pashto, darusallam summarized. The full one is 9 vol)
***For more advanced students:
1. Tafsir Ibn Kathir (considered to be more authentic than others but does include some weak narrations so its best to get the SECOND print by Dar Ibn Jawzi which has done takhreej (authentication??? Grading hadith?? Idk) on the narrations. 8 vol)
***Even more advanced:
1. Tafsir at-Tabari
2. Tafsir ibn abi-7atim
These two include many weak and even fabricated hadiths, so it is best for people who already know "ilm ur-rijaal" (knowing authentic vs weak etc narrations)
3. Tafsir Jaamil al A7kam al Quran by al Qurtubi
4. Tafsir al Kashaaf by al Zamakhtari (he is mu3tazili but one can benefit from linguistic perspective)

What comes to my mind is how on earth can one big volume of arabic tafsir sa’di turn to 10 volumes of English tafsir sa’di😭😭😭

Keep in mind most English translations of Al Fatiha can be 72-75 words, while in عربية, only 29 words.
They have to translate the meanings of Qur'an as well as the shaykh. Also bigger font and sometimes they put footnotes

- Check darul Makkah lt, if they don't have it on their online store, call them they may be able to deliver it if they have it in store (too many books to put online sometimes). If they don't have it, my advice from personal experience would be to avoid trying to get it - I've had first hand difficulty regarding that in the past.

Does tafsir al-sa'di contain weak narrations/hadiths the same way you mention ibn Kathir has.
Also what is meant by abbridged version, as tafsir ibn kathir in English is 10 vol and if abbridged means that it is a summary, then is the a deeper version than that?

Abridged means summarised version.
Sa'adi didn't use too much Hadith in it's explanation. He focused in the benefit points of the ayah, in Tawhid, Aqidah and choosing the Sahih opinion in Fiq'h issues.
I had seen many mistakes in tafseer ibn kaseer I will prefer tafemul Quran more for people know urdu.

There’s no English translation of the Quran because the Quran can’t be translated. However, the best translation of an accurate interpretation of the Quran is the Noble Quran (also known as Hilali-Khan) Insha Allah.
Alamaah Al Zamakshari said about his own Tafseer Al Kashaaf:
Indeed the number of tafsirs in the world are in plentitude, But none are like the Kashshaaf in similitude. If you want to be wealthy then mandatory is its reading, for ignorance is like a disease and al-Kashshaaf is the healing.

Jalalyn is good, but it mostly just rewords the Ayat, explains the grammar and sometimes mentions differing interpretation
Dur al Manthur is *not for beginners* . A lot of people begin doubting Quran’s preservation when reading it because Suyuti mentions many variant readings with chains. You can read it but please keep in mind that the quran in your mushaf was mutawatir while any contrary readings from dur al manthur are only ahad

Brother Is there any English translation of Majmoo fatawa ibn taymiyah r.a and also ibn uthaymeen r.a books
