I bought the same from Blue Sky bee supply, it worked very good. The only issue I had with high speed and manually bee-built comb, it was collapsed. So I learned not to overspeed :)
Do you have a link for this extractor? Real hard to find one for a Layens up here in Canada (ESPECIALLY here in Newfoundland) Any direction would be much appreciated. TIA. Cheers and live well
Yes they are made for layens frames but you can also use it to langstroth frames with some adjustment and that makes it universal. We did the layens frames after langstroth but we did not take a separate video of it. Next time we will make separate video for sure.
Did you wash it before? I noticed some small metal shavings in my new unit after the wash in the bucket catching the water? Any tips on proper wash before use?

Yes, we wash it first before using it with light soap and rinse well.
