What a sweet way to start the day! The gnome home is coming along very nicely with Cavalier supervision. Good to know Sherlock is weighing in at 5 pounds and your leg is healing well. Thank you for sharing!
That’s so much Fun😂🥰🤩🌈 FOR EVERYONE, Your really creative Charlie ❤️👍🏻 I love it , you have a beautiful back yard . I GNOME YOU HAD IT IN YOU CHARLIE 🤣😂🐶🥰👍🏻❤️
Oh , che bello😯😯☺️☺️!!💐💐💐! That is quite a project. I love it! Be careful on the ladder. Wouldn’t want the dogs to find you lying on the ground after a fall! Glad Sherlock’s weight is on target. He is a sweety!
Such a clever & fun idea! So many potential future decorating ideas (seasonal, holidays, etc). Love how Apple checks on Sherlock who is growing up so fast. As always, thank you for sharing!
This past winter, we had a huge storm here in Tennessee (everyone was pretty much snowed in for almost 2 weeks--very unusual weather for us). We had a tree come down on our fence, so had to get a tree company out here to take it down, plus had to replace two fence panels. It was quite expensive!! And we had a raccoon problem, too. We have one living in a bushy area on our property. He (or she?) would have been fine because that area isn't part of our fenced area where our dogs go, but he was coming into the dogs' area (to get bird seed we were putting out for the birds). We ended up having to move the bird feeders out of the dogs' area (we had them near windows so our cats had "kitty TV"). That solved the raccoon/dog issue for us. Looking forward to seeing the finished gnome home!
Love the gnome home! And something told me that Sherlock was going to need to be carried. It took him a while to get going but once he did he looked like he’d used all of his stamina 😂
Wasn't that also the squirrel tree? I do remember it getting cut. My neighbor saw me do an early morning owl/eagle/raccoon check before i let my cav outside. She thought it was like a game i do with my dog 😂. No, half of my yard is wooded. I don't need my cav to be a cru dê te for wildlife.
Hi Charlie.. Thanks as always.. Gnome house is a great idea.. Also makes think of the song The Gnome by Pink Floyd.. Hope all is well and have a great one and weekend ahead..
This is great. I wish I could do this but my only suitable tree is our gum tree and we’d get a fine if we cut it down. I’ll just admire your gnome home from afar instead 😊
We never wanted to remove that tree - it was very large when we moved in here 43 years ago, and it gave us decades of shade. But it was so diseased that some of the trunk was completely hollow, and we had to have it taken down before it did more damage (it had already cost us a few thousand after a hurricane). The raccoons living in the hollow were just another deciding factor.
Your garden is idyllic for the dogs. You seem to be having beautiful, sunny days.

Apple so reminds me of my Maisie I lost to cancer earlier this month. She is a beautiful girl and her baby is a sweet boy.

Just recently found your TH-cam page cute gnome home my cavalier Rosie would probably try & run off with a gnome 😂
I love your gnome home, thank you for sharing! ❤
Awesome looks great! Gave me couple ideas for my garden area I’m building which my cavalier King Charles can’t stay out of 😁
What a creative, adorable backyard project!
That was good ideal for the stump. You did a good job i think it is really cute. I'M not comfortable with heights either so your not alone. lol

That song pre-dates my involvement with Pink Floyd - I think I was still in my Beatles phase when it was released.
@@chaskat35 I got a soft spot for early Floyd or any era.. But can never go wrong with the Beatles..

Looks cool! Did you get any good maple wood for your building projects from this tree?
No, there was way too much wood for me to handle. The tree company took it all away.
@@chaskat35 ah it’s a shame but I can understand how that’s much wood would be too much to even think about using.
