A lot of details I have never sewed before. Wish I would have watched this 2 days ago and got the pattern on sale, oh well. Your blazer looks especially gorgeous with your black dress and heels! Would love to find a fabric like that as well. Your tutorials are just what I need for motivation and courage. Thank you so so much.
What a fantastic jacket. The sew a long tips are very handy because I would certainly get myself confused with those seams showing on the outside in the beginning.
You are looking fresh and beautiful this clip. I got the impression I am looking back in time a little,at a younger Karina. Hope you don't mind me saying it like that
Knits have come a long way over the years. A cardigan/blazer is more comfortable in a knit, and still the look has a more tailored look. This is a great pattern.
I just purchased this in time for the sale. I've been looking at it for awhile and I can't wait to try it. It's always especially helpful when you do videos for patterns with unusual construction. Thanks for sharing!
I think that version is a perfect complement to the basic/staple Little Black Dress. One dress can be worn in any weather, or from day to night, simple to fancy. Thanks, Karina!
Elegant! and what astonishing construction! Thank you for showing us how to do it. It's above my level right now but I aspire to make this in perhaps a year. Happy Easter!
Absolutely lovely! Such a beautiful fabric you can dress up or down a bit. Love it with your black dress especially. Such interesting details and fits you so well!
Another beautiful sew Karina. I bought the pattern some time ago but with autumn well under way now it will be my next make. You give me such inspiration.
I’m experiencing fabric envy! I live in Canada and can’t find fabrics as lovely as yours at a reasonable price. I have the pattern, just waiting for the right fabric. Love your channel. Content is high quality.
I actually sewed the Tuva last week after purchasing it back in December. I also sewed the size 16 tall and I absolutely love it. The fit is excellent and it comes together so well, giving a beautiful finish inside and out. The only thing I will change for my next one is to do a narrow shoulder adjustment.
Ooh was having trouble clicking on sinclair patterns website, so was wondering if they are still running? But as you uploaded this recently I can see they are. From Pauline
That's beautiful, I didn't know about this pattern. Do you have any videos on using a twin needle? I can't for the life of me get mine to work well with any fabric.
I’m wearing the Poesy blouse from Sinclair patterns. I don’t have a video on twin needles. I don’t do anything special with them. I just thread like normal two threads and use a straight stitch.
I love this jackets and have made it twice now, but dislike the hem finish. There must be a neater option rather than top stitch I wonder? Maybe only hand stitch.
I have the Cardigan, I do not understand how you choose the length from the tall pattern pieces. Please explain how to choose the petite length that I need.
Petite will be its own file. Sinclair does three files for each pattern: petite, regular, and tall and you can download them all from your account dashboard.
I don't know if you feel comfortable doing recommendations. What are some of your favorite ladies Sinclair patterns? Knits or wovens, it doesn't matter to me.. I have a sewing machine & serger. I have some interest in sewing leggings. Thanks
Pants: the Vienna jeggings and the poppy pull on pants are great. Tops: Daisy and Azalea. Dresses: Nyoka and Betty :) You can see more on my playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLwk5xT21q_c23dsJTSZbI7CitUbr_l4Bp.html
I love it with the dress
I really like how the front and the facing piece go together at about 16:00. Cool little flip!
What a detailed sew! I will refer back to your video when I sew this garment. I bought the pattern using your link. Thankyou.

Luv this fabric...perfect match to this jacket :)
I hope you had a great Easter.
I ordered it last night. Your's are very pretty on you.
I really love this jacket. I am glad that you seem to be feeling better.

Thank you so much! I’ll take it 😀😀
I bought pattern last time you reviewed it. I hope to sew it up soon.

It sure is 😀 ticks all the boxes.

I purchased this when you did your first one but haven’t tried it yet. I think I will soon.

Thanks! I think so too. It’ll
Go a long way for me 😀😀
Such a nice make!
Thank you! 😊

Wow! I would never know that was sweatshirting. It looks so great on you
Thanks! I rarely use sweat shirting. This was a great find 😀😀
Very fancy Karina! The pattern drafting on this pattern was gorgeous! Love it♡.
Sure is :)
I'm so in love with this "jacket" !!! I'm looking for the perfect fabric for me. But this one is a definite MUST HAVE. Thank you!
Absolutely lovely! Such a beautiful fabric you can dress up or down a bit. Love it with your black dress especially. Such interesting details and fits you so well!
Thank you so much 😀😀. I felt amazing
Another excellent tutorial Karina - thank you very much. I now feel more confident to try this pattern. 💕
You’ll really love seeing how it comes together 😀

I’m glad you made it already. It’s great to have it made 😀
I found the shoulders came up very wide too.
Karina, you look so beautiful whatever you wear. For sure I had to get it, it is your fault 🤣🥰❤️.

I can't see anything wrong with the website :)
Great job, as usual 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻. What are you wearing for this video? I really like it x

Also, are you wearing the SOI Annie shirt in this video?

@@LiftingPinsandNeedles thank you. Yes, I think it's either my machine, or I have something going on with the tension. I'll keep trying!
Awesome jacket! Love the black trim. That just makes it! What kind of interfacing did you use?
Tricot knit interfacing. It’s stretchy
@@LiftingPinsandNeedles thanks

Hand sewing is mentioned in the pattern instructions. It’s always possible.
@@LiftingPinsandNeedles thanks. I’m trying it with a single turn up with my coverstitch this time around. I’ll let you know how it goes.
Where do you source your leather-look jersey?
