0:12 - Craig/Lister corpsing in this scene is hilarious xD especially since, apparently, Danny adlibbed his 'S-E-X' song 1:57 - Chloë's reaction to the Rimmer puppet is ALSO amazing xD
I used to watch Red Dwarf reruns in the late '90s on PBS, an American TV station, late on Saturday nights, when I was about 14 or 15. Then I would go outside and use my telescope to look at the moon and the stars. Some of the best memories of my life.
I accidentally started--during a marathon in my early 20s--with series 7. The 1st series seemed so weird and bland in comparison. Oh...and I used to think Cat was a vampire character before I started.
My favorite scenes: 0:32- Oh sorry, queens don't move like that. 2:25- Have you seen this? *Gives the middle finger* 4:02- You never asked. 4:44- Hand...pick up...the ball! *Punches Kryten* 5:21- Not today, matey! *knees Death in the groin* 7:21- That sort of thing can really put a crimp on your day. 7:58- I'll give you 15. 11:50- I said supper is ready! *Explosion* 14:26- That's a bucket. 15:22- It's Winnie the Pooh.
My how the years have gone by. Some very fond memories watching Red Dwarf. Thank you life, for being so wonderful and horrible and scary tragic funny and awe inspiring all at the same time. And shows like this being back such charming thoughts. Through all the pain and loss there's also laughs and time spent with those we love that make up for it. Time is precious and priceless. May you all live a beautiful life with that in mind. Peace.
It's even more funny when you learn trivia here and there. I forget what island it is, but Scottish I believe. Specific to this one island they have swimming sheep 😂 I think there's more to it, but I don't remember... Like they eat algae or something.
Thank you ever so much for creating my new favourite video on this platform. My god, I can’t imagine seeing these clips without knowing the reasons behind them!! Half of them are simply mortifying without explanation hahaha!!!
Bril!. At Uni staggering into the common room after a 'big' party on a saturday morning we would sit munching toasted bacon sarnies watching this and get back on the beers!. 🤣🤣🤣 p*ssing ourselves laughing!.... Happy days!. Still laughing at it 30 odd yrs later!. Nuff said!. 🤣
Cat's actor saying that chemical name still gets me. First take, and the part after it where he gets asked to repeat it and says he's written it down is entirely improvised.
@@casanovafunkenstein5090 They wouldn't have time; they have to do _hours_ of homework every night. I've taught people who have completed university and been working for years, and unless an A'level or degree was vocational, it was virtually a waste of time, as they remember so little from it.
Man the extended Tikka to Ride feels so awkward with no laugh track. Acting like you're in front of a studio audience to allow pauses for laughs with none added on is so jarring to watch. Actually now I think about it its a good example of "What if Red Dwarf was real and none of the crew found each other funny." just all these awkward pauses after somones said something they think is a zinger.
Just another one of Red Dwarf’s famous continuity errors. Although you could choose to view it that Rimmer’s dad only *attempted* suicide (Rimmer never mentions a death explicitly, only calling it “that rather nasty suicide business”).
There’s always one or two you wish you could’ve added after uploading. For me it was that one, Lister pretending to be a doctor in Camille and the B-movie from Krytie TV.
@nicholascecic1270 >>> At about 08:08 in this video: A lot of people are horrified by snakes. I had a pet boa constrictor back around 1988 to 1992, I think they are great...😊

@@nicholascecic1270 Oh thanks for the info! I was a teenager when this show was aired but it wasn't big in my country. But a friend of mine and I were big fans of it, always talking about it in school. It was funny AF even though it was atrociously dubbed. Now, watching it without the dubbing is even much much better.
The guy in the live studio audience screaming "yay!" when he hears about Rimmer's death is the funniest thing I've ever seen
i never noticed that before LMAO
Rimmer will die in 20 minutes....
yay....
That was perfect! 😂👌
Let's be honest everyone in that audience would have done it if they had thought to do it
