Chris Barrie is such a ham. It really comes through in these clips how great of an entertainer he really was and how much he enjoyed making people laugh. Boys from the Dwarf forever!
I love how Robert Llewellyn stays in character when he makes mistakes. And Chris Barrie just goes with it and tries to make the outtake as entertaining as possible. Such a great show.
"Me, Pat Boone" is one of my favourite smeg-ups, just for how excruciatingly long the build-up was for him to balls it up at the punchline. Classic series!
2:08 I love it. And 3:30 I love the chinese gibberish. 9:16 - It's odd to think that under that Android is Robert Llewellyn (Kryten)'s wife Judy Pascoe.
When I first saw that episode, I didn't know Judy Pascoe was Robert's wife. I thought Robert's acting was good at the end when he says goodbye to Camille and he shown real emotional.
I love the tag line. "To finish Series 4, here's the series 4 smeg-ups of series 4" all i hear is Rimmer saying that in my mind all serious and what not.
Love Chris doing the impersonation of Lester Piggot. The "last time I paid tax" joke is a classic. I believe Ken Dodd also did that joke about lester Piggot and then went on to get done for tax evasion himself. After which Jasper Carrot made the joke about Ken Dodd having 2 new Diddy men "Diddy Pay and Diddy Hell." Seems like Comedians all like taking the rise out of each other.
Rebecca McDermott And the funny part that I found was that he was saying ‘just conserve your energy’ as if he’s telling himself just to relax and say his line! 😂😅
@OrangeSodiePop That's because it IS a Liverpool accent. For Brits, comparing it to a Scottish accent would be roughly analogous to comparing say a New Yorker to a Virginian for Americans. Not that I'm trying to draw a cultural parallel, mind you.
*clearing throats* Little bit of robo-phlem for you ladies and gentleman HA-HA-HA!!" "Stone." *TOCK TOCK* "What's wrong with you Rimmer? Don't you realize..........*facepalm*
I love the outtakes with the blob xDD And Chris's "SHUT UP" xDD Noisiest location ever much? And lol at how Kryten laughs.. These are some of the best smeg ups. Elvis o: Is that the same dude that played Confidence? Lol

I love it when Chris does his impersonations when he screws up
9:47 Rimmer infected with a electronic virus which makes him speak like Kenneth Williams.
I had most of these on the Smeg-ups tape when I was a kid. Some real sense memories bubbling up. Thanks for posting.
Even when Cat forgets his lines, he never loses his cool XD
THEY WERE GOING TO SORT THAT OUT IN THE DUB
I just love Robert Llewellyn's 'Kryten Laugh'
1:47 - LOL Rimmer swearing on the walkie talkie!
Oh, yes. Mr Barrie is an incredibly talented impressionist.
Wow Chris Barrie's impressions are spot on especial his Kenneth Williams

Ashley Hawkins i think it's from the special features of the DVD, because i have seen this on there, but came to this video because it is quicker
He did a few of the Spitting Image voices.
"Me, Pat Boone" is one of my favourite smeg-ups, just for how excruciatingly long the build-up was for him to balls it up at the punchline. Classic series!
Chris Barrie is a great comedian who does a fantastic line in funny voices.
5:30 Chris Barrie's Kenneth Williams impersonation is outstanding.
Chris worked extensively on Spitting Image. Here he is on Saturday Night Live! some time in the late 1980's - th-cam.com/video/UTPcVypWmLI/w-d-xo.html
He looks similar to him to

I love Kat's smile when he knows he is supposed to say something.
"We've gotta....
We've gotta do something!"
They're all so adorable and funny when they mess up I can't stop laughing, I just want to hug all of them!
4:50 wow, Chris channelling Martin Freeman before he was even around
8:28 Intro sequence of The Chris and Craig Show.
Before and during Red Dwarf he was one of the Voice Impressionist's on Spitting Image
Chris Barrie's Kenneth Williams impression is 100% spot on ...

They weren't married at the time of the filming. That episode is where they met.
@@explosionsandstuff7787 They were in a relationship at the time. They needed a woman for the episode, and he asked if she wanted to do it.
You know your day is gonna be good when you get this in your recommended.
I cant believe ive never seen this before.
I absolutely love Chis' Kenneth Williams impression
"Kenneth Williams does the dirty dozen oh yes now my name is general Patton yes" soo funny!!!!
I like the look on Danny John-Jules's face at 4:36.

Ken Dodd was a lucky bugger to get off from his tax case in court, but I remember it was a Liverpool jury, so Doddy was always going to win.
I love it when Chris fucks up whatever he was saying and starts talking gibberish in a french accent XD
thanks so much for the smeg ups too! you are magnificance dwarfer! thanks for all of this!
~
6:54 Good acting by Chris Barrie.
4:49 - 4:53 I love how Chris goes wrong and turns it into his Brittas impression
Haha! Yep! Love that! "Mornin' Mr Britt-ass!"
Again, these had me in stitches!
I'd glomp Chris Barrie for that Kenneth Williams impression alone! ^.^
8:34 - Barrie's Lester Piggott skit is priceless.
What’s not to like? Great cast, great series.
Looks like they all got... TONGUE TIED! TONGUE TIEEEED.
Love that Danny never seems to know his lines!!.
Rebecca McDermott And the funny part that I found was that he was saying ‘just conserve your energy’ as if he’s telling himself just to relax and say his line! 😂😅
White Hole was a complicated episode with a lot of pre-recorded material too. Very confusing for the actors and viewers
I love that in the look, conserve your energy, he sounds more like Danny than cat
The court scene is the best in the series 😁
I couldn't stop laughing 😂
I love how Mike Tucker has the Camilleblob react to her clumsiness.
Chris at 8:25 was absolutely brilliant.
I love Chris' Kenneth Williams impression 😂

Red dwarf is one of the best shows iv Eva seen
Iiiii love you all!!! (Channeling my inner grr) I love this show!!!
Chris barrie has the best kenneth williams voice ever! LOL!

3:57 he was going to say "me Pat Boone" LOL
Vat-69? Why's that?
That's the last year I paid tax
I never got that joke as a child, but I find it funny as hell now.
Fun fact, the female mechanoid is played by Robert Llewellyn's actual wife.
I'd love a lesson from Chris Barrie on how to blow gags. 🤣🤣
Love the smeg up with Chris choking on the cigar
If Chris fiddles with his tongue one more time... I will... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!

4:13 Chris Barrie cussing in German. LOL
this show was the best before the BBC "discovered" they had a show with 8 mill+ viewers a week and gave it a budget more that £5000 an episode.
It was at its best when Rob Grant was one of the writers. Budget has nothing to do with it.
you know Craig dated the actress that played Lister's vision of Camille
Who needs sex when you have outtakes
