Depends on the size of the kitchen ... Mine is not much bigger that an average small bathroom (sink, bath, toilet), so, even with appliances, I'm still guessing £2-3K ... but that's not including installation ...
What a refreshing change seeing such bonny young babes doing building work instead of gross blokes showing off their muscles and ugly tattoos. Just be careful though, some of that work is heavy stuff and dangerous, especially where there's asbestos.
