Follow Sarah Beeny as she gives advice to eager people looking to enter the property market, and rehab UK real estate in the hopes of turning profit. This week Sarah visits Patrick and Vanessa from Aberdare in South Wales, who have re-mortgaged their home and bought two dilapidated cottages they have not even seen for £25,000.
Wow. I thought they did a stunning job, especially as they'd NO IDEA what they were doing. They certainly had fantastic attitudes going into and coming out of this. And they learnt so much. (I learn a LOT from watching these). So very happy they had such a brilliant outcome!
I watched this one all over again (in case I missed something!). What a stunning contrast to the two women (the episode before the last) who bought a property in Wales and 'kept to their budget.' THIS house was BEAUTIFULLY done; cream or white coloured walls with white trim throughout, light carpeting and a great light and airy feeling. Such a contrast! This one was SO WELL DONE. I wonder what they did next and if they kept going?

Sarah's hair is absolutely GORGEOUS.
It is like a helmet - no movement at all. Not my idea of gorgeous

“Cigarette salesman” has to be slang for something else... and I’m dying to know what it is.
They couldn't have made more mistakes had they tried. They're just extremely lucky home prices rose that way.
OMG cigarette salesman?
It was a while ago!!
Did you know that, in the 1950s, doctors prescribed smoking cigarettes to pregnant women because "It's calming." !!! (It's true!)
