Investors really need to take heed to what Warren said about diversification. Most investors do it for the sake of just diversifying. Maybe one or even two per sector, as long as there are the top one or two in that sector. Also remember too the market goes up and goes down, not by its own but by investors. If a stock falls it's because some investors decided to sell. If a stock rises, its because more investors caught on to a buying opportunity or increased their position.
To me, the issue comes from knowing what fields I can trust so much because unlike buffet, I simply don't have the ability to sit for 6 & more hours a day and inform myself. For me diversification is risk reduction strategy and its the best market approach . The more stocks you own, the less risky it gets, and more chance of gaining multibags.
I own 5 positions and I think it's just fine. I don't like to own shares of companies I know nothing about or very little. At the end it's all about choosing solid companies. Some companies you can keep for a very long time. APPL, NVDA, MSFT, GOOG, AMZN, etc now im looking into some Berkshire top hodlings like coca-cola ( KO ), Kraft Heinz (KHC) , American Express (AXP).. Owning shares from these various companies work together to reduce my risk of a permanent loss of capital and portfolio's overall volatility .

It is really sad that no one has the money to really restore what is left of these buildings to something close to the original state. With all of our power tools and easier to work with materials they still cannot match the craftsmanship of the original builders.
Consider wearing respiratory and eye protection when pressure washing mold. Protect yourself from breathing in or ingesting particles containg mold. And protect your eyes from injury or infection.
Yes. And actually you use a dilution of muriatic acid and water. A good respirator is a must. Without the avid, the mold comes right back. Best to paint it as well.
No matter where an old once glorious building is located, it always makes my heart burst with joy to see them saved while being respected of it's former glory & loved once again! By far everyone exceeded the lovely restoration the stately mansion deserved. I would say many miracles where performed here . No human labor force could of worked the major my eyes saw at this wedding event. By far the best .

I think, if. I remember correctly after 10+ years, they did a second revamp of the gym in the 2nd series, covering Up all of the brickwork and giving it more of a classy feeling.

I've been chasing French chateaux videos for a long time now, there are so many of them, some extremely huge, but many quite a nice size. Problem is France is a really big place, and so many are in central France miles from anywhere you have heard of, and rather difficult to imagine yourself fixing up a place you can't easily use as a weekend retreat unless you have your own plane & could make a landing strip ! That dream is long gone of course, but it was lovely to dream !

They sold it a couple of years ago to people who do weddings and big occasions. They have just recently bought a farm in either .Sussex or Suffolk (someone correct me please) as their next awfully big adventure. They seem to be very happy about this chapter in their lives. Plus, the boys are all grown up.

I like Sarah I have seen her a few years ago on a building renovation show she knew all the modern innovations to improve old buildings and for a woman that is wonderful It was her that said about light tunnel that I was able to have in my dark living room new in its day made all the difference
I cant say I was too positively impressed with the bride to be, wondering what massive undertakings she herself has completed to give such a shearing review of their ongoing work. Considering also the financial break they are getting, sometimes its best to not say everything that comes to mind. There are people who have actual vision of what will be & those, without. If it takes lack of sleep, that's what it will take. Not a woman who seems to give her word lightly , she seems to have a grip on all the realities. They've sold it & moved on to, maybe bigger or smaller things, what a delight to watch it come together & not have to share in the stress of it all !

I thank God for the ppl who undertake the restoration & preservation of the homes from the nations past. I can't stand thinking these estates are crumbling away neglected & unnoticed. I`ll admit {from Florida} that the weather confused me >> long-sleeved jacket on, jacket off & tshirt, long-sleeved jacket on, jacket off & tshirt, then short sleeves abound. Maybe it is there like it is here in "winter", when we`re donning Alaskan parkas in the morning {not really, but it IS chilly}, stripped down to flipflops by midafternoon, and then sitting in front of a blazing fireplace at night again.

Maybe I'm alittle jealous at this point in my life but paying into debt for one day of celebration (albeit more like a week) just seems like a giant waste of money looking through the lense of divorce after the kids leave.Its taken a third of your life, and you've increased the population by 1 or 2 ( temporarily)
We constructed a 23m hotel in two years even it was changed 4 times including the respective planning permissions and fire certs etc. At least we know what we were doing -

@bina nocht best thing is a dilution of muriatic acid to pressure wash brick. Painters do this before painting to kill algae before painting.
Black mold spores wreck havoc in the body for years to come. Protect exposure of you entire body before spraying mold spores into the air. Take care!
