    I just had to comment because I disagree with all the negative comments about stopping for the scenery. That's one of the things I just LOVE about this vid, because it's exactly what I do on trails. I stop and breathe in the beauty. It feeds my brain. :-) Thank you for this video! I'll be running to it often.

    • @TreadmillTV
      @TreadmillTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Kerri Tom I like to stop and look around for the same reason. However, I tend to agree with the idea that the camera should remain forward as to help the user keep their balance while running.

      Idk, I'm pretty clumsy, and I didn't have an issue with it at all. ;-)

      Well yes we all do that when we are on the trail running, however we can't just stop our treadmills while they look around. I have to grip the rails to keep my balance as it throws me off!

      If you are exercising on a treadmill then such stops are inconvenient.

    That is one gnarly trail. I wouldn’t dare to run it even with an emergency call button! (Old Geezer). But, it is a great video and the geology is cool.

    My favorite video for working out on my treadmill.
    You run none stop, and you encourage me to keep on going, when I was ready to quit. I felt like I was there with you.
    You stopping a little to allow us to view the scenery areas of this gorgeous place was an A+.
    Most runners don’t do it, and I wish I could turn their necks for just a second, so I can view the place as normally would if I were there.
    The BEST VIDEO EVER!!!

    Many people say that stopping to see scenery was useless, but for me was really helpful. I’m 15 wanting to make a movie and the beginning is the main character running into the woods at night. So this helped me a lot! Thanks.

    One of my favorite places to run. I've literally run thousands of miles between Glen Helen, John Bryan park and Clifton Gorge which all connect providing miles of scenic running. I've suffered a few sprained ankles as well...The tree roots and rocks prove to be treacherous during the fall when the leaves hide them. Thanks for sharing.

  • @alibear57

    These videos are absolutely brilliant for using along with my treadmill, but for one tiny flaw. I really hate to add any negative comments because they are SO good, but (for myself) I feel that viewing the wonderful scenery, is for when I'm relaxing in my armchair, not running on a treadmill, I have nearly jumped off the track and done myself an injury, a few times, when your camera has turned to point at some of the landscape while you're still moving sideways - I have nearly fallen over the cliffs a few times lol, it is quite disorientating at times, your brain tells your feet that they need to scoot over a bit to avoid hitting a tree or other object, - are you holding the camera in your hand, at shoulder level? That may account for a lot of the sideways shots, do you not have a chest harness for your camera, I think that would help a lot. Anyway, these things are only my own personal opinion, others may like them just the way they are. Don't stop making them.

    • @TreadmillTV
      @TreadmillTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Alex Rollo Thanks for the input. I've begun limiting myself to looking straight forward for such reasons as you've described. Many of the new videos I make are recorded with a 360 video to accompany the regular video so I don't feel like I'm missing some of the best views. I'm still using a handheld unit because I'm able to absorb some of the vertical bounce created by my gait. You should enjoy the Grand Canyon 360 video from your armchair when you get a chance. 😀
