From the parking lot to the lower falls is very short, only about 20 minutes round trip. To the upper falls is a bit longer, about an hour round trip. They're both worth seeing if you're in the area.
I REALLY wish you didn't disclose the name / location of these areas, especially ones like Cypress Creek, where because of "vloggers" like you, these places are becoming overrun with people, causing accelerated deterioration to the natural beauty here... Social media influencers and vloggers from platforms like YT, TT and IG are causing immense damage to these areas. Want to video these walks? Ok fine, DO NOT identify them!!!
I understand your concern, but there isn’t a single hike or walk that I’ve done that isn’t fully made available to the public. None of the hikes are secret trails, and they can all be found on databases like AllTrails or various books and web sites. If you watch my videos you will see that there are hardly any people in them, so I disagree that “vloggers” are contributing to destroying trails. I think it’s good for the public to get out and enjoy nature and exercise. The trails are for everyone. Furthermore, only a very small percentage of my viewers even live in the Vancouver area and will never set foot on any of these trails.
@@WalksOfWonder-BC and you completely missed the point of what I said… Channels like you have a follower base, so by broadcasting the location it amplifies the amount of people who would otherwise discover and visit these places; not everyone uses hiking apps you know. And frankly just because YOU didn’t see a lot of people when you went there does not = no actual increase in traffic… Two years ago I could go there and the parking area on average would have less than 6 cars, last 4 times I’ve “tried” to go there, cars were parked out onto the street. And you also forget that little function of social media called “sharing”, videos like these get re-shared to others, and now also get picked up by AI bots and further re-broadcast this stuff, so again, as you obviously don’t understand social media basics, you are doing more harm than good, and ignorance and defensiveness like yours is part of an ever growing problem of ecological destruction. Sad.
@@ewrzosek ha ha, sky is falling much bud? ..... "parked out onto the street"?..... there's only 3 homes on that little cul-de-sac (the O.G. Harris, Henderson, and Craig places.) our quaint little neighbourhood falls haven't turned into another Honolulu just yet. if you're having trouble with parking in that big dirt lot next to the trail..... maybe next time take the bus. there's a stop right there on Woodgreen Drive a block away. @@ewrzosekWalksOfWonder-BC correctly responded to your negative comment. You don’t own Mother Earth. And since to beginning of time some billion years ago, Mother Earth has survived dinosaurs, ice age, hundreds of natural forest fires, and you walking along these trails.
What a gorgeous trail! Thanks for sharing!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
so enjoy that there is no annoying background music, just the natural sounds, thank you
Have to agree, annoying music or fake bird sounds have no place in walking videos. Thanks for watching!

1:51 first sight and sound of that beautiful water fall in the background peeking through those trees.
One of my favorite hikes you can do all year!
Beautiful video and enjoyable viewing. Thank you for your wonderful effort ❤
Much appreciated! Thanks for watching.
Wow!!!! That’s way out in the deep woods
Looks that way but it's actually very close to a residential area in West Vancouver. Only 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver
video maker was taking some risks by going around the fencing and off trail
Beautiful!
Thank you!

You are not concerned coming across a bear?
Great video.
Thank you! Yes, bears are always a concern, but I rarely ever run into them. If I do, they usually run away (hopefully) ☺️☺️
