When you get the banjo bolt out just check that its not just the holes in the bolt blocked with carbon like mine was. And not the pipe blocked. Because its not easy to put it back after realising pipe wasn't blocked. And yes it does work
Thanks for the vid bud, just in the process of removing mine, ive undo the Bango.. is there washers on either end? I've dropped something inside. Had a dodgy egt sensor and right after a blocked pipe? Dash is like a Christmas tree 😂
Great video only helpful one I found ive another problem got a green auto start light flashing on my Nissan Juke 1.5 diesel car runs but gets ropey around 2000 revs then next day problem gone then just comes back again any ideas please
Difficult to say but I’d recommend giving the car a regeneration drive. (2500 revs constant for at least 30mins at 60mph or more) if you’re unsure there is plenty of info on line about regens
I have done this and it worked. The hole is not easy to clear, I had to use an oven stainless steel wire and a drill after straightening the pipe. Then bend it back.
Hi, Is the exhaust pressure sensor pipe fitted to all1.5dci engines even if it doesn’t have a DPF mine is without one, I've had a look and can't see a pipe. Cheers.
I have the esp light on in my 2017 diesel juke. I have it booked in with the garage for Thursday of next week to sort. The car is driving perfectly fine no power loss or anything. Am I safe to continue to drive it until I can get it looked at next week?
@Ian Bradburn hi. I was reading many of people comeents. Mine isue is a bit different. I changed" air bag clock spring sensor spiral cable 2 plugs"(because I had isue with EROR with air bag, and my horn wasn't working) so after this my horn started working again. And airbag error gone. But, just I moved on the road same day appeared the new (never seen isue in my car) its ESP OF on dashboard. and it's gone. Its appear again. And gone. And sometimes one week no issues and again its back. do you have any ideas what's going on? My friends give me idea maybe it's bad quality Chinese cheap product that "clock spring sensor" and maybe that senor is faulty from beginning. But if so. So it shouldn't work all the time. But now it works. It's not. And I can't find actual reason. I noticed its most of time happened on rainy days, slippery roads. But I have days than that was without rain too. I'm confused. Please help me to get some ideas.?? Also what about that last your words I should use my car on bigger speeds? (my car is petrol, not deesel, 2008 Qashqai 2l original Qashqai engine ) is using bigger speeds once a month helps for petrol too? Or only its works for deesel? Thank you for any answers.
Hi. If you fitted a Chinese clock spring it’s very likely to be causing your intermittent problem. Some parts should only be changed for genuine replacements and the clock spring is one of them. If money is an issue even a second hand one is better than a copy. Lastly it is not so important to drive motorways in a petrol model so no worries there. Good luck 🤞🏻
Hi i need some help. I have code C1130 mechanics have said they cleared the pipe changed the sensor they even done a software update on my nissan juke 1.5 dci 2012 and the light is still on. Any ideias why ?
Great video, my 61 plate Juke has a slightly deferent configuration in that the bandgo bolt has been replaced with a standard bolt. The other end going into the sensor looks the same. My question is what did you use to disconnect the other end with the tube
This is exactly what Ive been looking for, my light has been flickering on for the past few months , did you leave the sensor in situ or remove that as well?
I have two Qashqais, 2007 1.5 dci/2012 1.5 dci , looks like the '12 has same setup as here, but the '07 not exactly same as yours. QQ 07 is the one with this problem, lamps go out with restart, OK at idle, but reappears when driven. Codes say c1132 signal 3 ( Ebay Wow diagnostic), could this be the solution for my car as well? I changed the clockspring to solve airbag error, car has been idle in my yard for some 3-4 months, then this fault sudddenly appeared. Fault after fault has been a bit demotivating, now this is the only one remaining after lots of parts changed ( turbo, cylinder head gasket/piston rings, wheel bearings, brakes and joints, EGR cleaned) Asking a garage they will not fix it since they want to run the full show or nothing, costing anything from 200 £ just for diagnose and up to only god knows how much.
Ian Bradburn i will give it a go. Bought a 2013 Leaf as a replacement for the troublesome Qashqai, worked out well, fantastic but boring car. Thanks for the video. 🤞🏻🍺
Good video... never had know this pipe existed without saying it was there.... I had the problem of my anti skid lights intermittently staying on then going off after a restart, last couple of days they've stayed permantly on and now the red management light has come on. Anyway I managed to get the pipe off and clean it and it was a pain especially trying to get it connected back up but like everything if you persevere you get there in the end. I found that the pipe WAS blocked but after clearing it I still have the anti skid lights still on but not the red management light... do the lights normally go out on thier own or do they need to be reset if not I need to look else where.
Ian Bradburn, Hi IAN pls help mate, on my Nissan Qashqai 2011 1.5 dCi comes up the red management Light, electronic stability control and SLIP Light, the car has loss the power, what can be the problem ? Please help, thx!!
@@bradauto please tell me if there could be a fault with the sensor. I cleaned the tube without removing it, only removed the sensor. Used a vein from a cable and a brake cleaner after. Also then blown with air. However, no changes! By the way, after starting the car, it buzzes under the hood for a couple of seconds and ESP appears on the instruments. The same error C 1130. It feels like the vacuum pump is buzzing.
i have the same code on my 2015 x trail. i also have esp, forward emergency braking and engine management lights on as well as start stop error. any ideas what the issue could be

I have a 2010 Nissan Juke 1.5dci with red engine light and traction light illuminated. Also the engine judders and misfired. Did you or anyone else have this same issue where the engine judders?
Firstly it’s a poor design. To minimise carbon build up use a good grade of fuel, here in the uk we have 3 different types of diesel, the cheap stuff from supermarkets burns very dirty. Secondly the car will need a regeneration run at least once a month. (Over 60 mph, over 2000 rpm for at least a constant 30 mins)

well done sir. as you said not an engine fault code but shows up om the abs
And this is the video I've been looking for over the last 7 days!

Thank you mate. Exactly as explained. Pain in the arse to remove pipe but was found blocked solid. Hey ho problem solved
Awesome. Thank you for your time in describing / showing this fault. Sorted mine nicely. :)
How for you unclip it from the top? Struggling to unclip.
Job done cheers ( if anyone struggles cleaning it out soak in thinner and blow touch heat it ( mild heat) - turns the carbon into a soft paste)

Hi i need some help.
I have code C1130 mechanics have said they cleared the pipe changed the sensor they even done a software update on my nissan juke 1.5 dci 2012 and the light is still on. Any ideias why ?
They have cleaned the pipe in place so they did not remove it to clean it of fear of breaking the nut.
Also they can take a long drive cycle to clear fault. Maybe 20 miles
Where is this pipe located in 2007 qashqai 2.0 dci? Same area? I have the same issue...
Great video, my 61 plate Juke has a slightly deferent configuration in that the bandgo bolt has been replaced with a standard bolt. The other end going into the sensor looks the same. My question is what did you use to disconnect the other end with the tube
Hi. It’s a spring clip so a pair of pliers will remove it. If access is awkward the pipe may just pull off with clip still in place - good luck
Have same problem on 2012 qashqai. How do i remove air box?
Once connected does the light go off or need to plug into diagnostics?
I had to drive it about 10 miles for basic settings to re-learn

Left the sensor there Jason. Its only the pioe gets blocked. Good luck, glad to help.

I think it will go out itself but if not a garage shouldnt charge much to clear fault codes. I charge £20

Do you have any fault codes? Most common fault is broken/split plastic turbo intercooler hose housing on top of engine
Ian Bradburn that housing on top of engine its brand new
Ian Bradburn
DTC012A16
DTC033531
DTC1525F3
DTC053017
Is this 4 fault codes
If it was split you will need to take for a long drive to relearn values
Ian Bradburn no he wasn’t split, it’s original from Nissan
How long did this job take ,,how much did you charge
It’s no more than 2 hours work. Most garages charge around £50 per hour labour, and may add the cost of a diagnostic on - usually around £30
I have a 2010 Nissan Juke 1.5dci with red engine light and traction light illuminated. Also the engine judders and misfired. Did you or anyone else have this same issue where the engine judders?
It will have to be put on a diagnostic tool to read fault codes. Possibly a faulty injector.
i have a qashqai with these codes c1130 and c1133 i have changed this pipe but still no different , do you have any other ideas please . thankyou
You will have to give it a good drive to relearn it’s basic settings.
Thankyou for your time i have cleared faults but they come back again. it is also down on power
@@staffs1495 yep I had same problem. I had to drive about 30 miles as it gradually picked up power. If it’s dangerously slow do it late at night
I`d like to add on later engines the pipe is quite different.
For what is this sensor, will it cause problems if it's blocked for longer period of time?
It’s a pressure sensor - car will be underpowered and can lead to more problems in long run
Great video! Thanks!
Hello. Do I find this sensor also at the 1.6 engine? I have the same problem as you.
Not sure. If it is the same layout then I would say most likely.
