I have a properly stuck on wiper arm, I was trying every method I know to get it off today, then gave up because I was freezing cold. I’ll try this before I go and buy a puller. I WD’d it before I tried the shock treatment with the hammer on the spindle (hitting wound off nut) I waggled the arm to death, I even gave it some heat knowing metals contract in cold weather and….. the arm is still on. and this is one reason I HATE VW .....how fucking mental is it that there is no release for that rear door .....?????......seems like a safety hazard in the wrong circumstances........what the fuck?.......VW trying to abduct people in there or what .....It's stupid . And VW is FULL of these kinds of bullshit

hi, my rear door is blocked, driver's side. is there a chance to remove the upholstery? they will not open either from the cave side or from the inside. Superb 2012
It is possible to remove the door cards with the door shut but you will have to be quite brutal with it, some fixings may get damaged but not so bad it can’t be fitted back. If you get some access to the door latch try tapping it with a long screw driver and hammer (hit it on the body of the latch whilst operating the unlock button) this usually shocks them into working again. This is temporary so once it’s open replace the latch immediately
Hi when you had this issue was the car just clicking on turnover as mine is seems like starter motor ? But all lights on dash and say alternator not charging

Easy way to diagnose BEFORE pulling the gearbox off. Accelerate in 1st gear to about half revs, lift off the throttle pedal and depress the clutch at the same time, fairly sharply. If theres a clatter/rattle/knocking sound, or vibration through the bulkhead, suspect your DMF. Check your driveshafts/propshaft first, but more than likely the DMF is failing. 🤙🏻

@@g.w.customcreations3534 it’s too vague. As you already said it could be noise from driveshafts, stabiliser mounts, engine mounts, subframe, wishbones etc, also it’s not a test you will have done before so will have no comparison (you won’t know if any noise is normal or not). With investigative work you discount easiest causes first by doing these checks. This video is for when you exhausted all else - if you’ve got the box out you need some way of confirming damage to dmf. However a trained ear can usually hear a fault from outside with engine idling in neutral but that’s not something I can make a video about.
@bradauto yeah, not a bad point. Only issue being, all bar the driveshaft that you have mentioned are rubber mounted, so would sound nothing like a dmf. Its a very distinct noise, and can be felt directly through the bulkhead, not just as a generic vibration. And let's be honest, no one that has "no comparison" is on TH-cam trying to identify noises. The only folks here are either considering doing it themselves, and want to be double sure, or folks that have already paid a garage, and are curious about what it is they're paying for.

Hi, i have a 2019 audi a6, it starts and drives perfectly, ac is working perfectly but ALL the dash lights are on and the dashboard blinks continuously. Its giving me invalid data from abs and lost communication with BCM codes. I also noticed that the red battery light on the dashboard does not comes on when you turn the ignition on like the check engine, abs, airbag, etc etc that normally comes on when you first turn the ignition on.

Hi i need some help. I have code C1130 mechanics have said they cleared the pipe changed the sensor they even done a software update on my nissan juke 1.5 dci 2012 and the light is still on. Any ideias why ?
They have cleaned the pipe in place so they did not remove it to clean it of fear of breaking the nut.
Also they can take a long drive cycle to clear fault. Maybe 20 miles

How do you know this is an issue while you driving the car? Before you even take it apart? If fly wheel gone and car is manual would it be hard to change gears? Or not necessarily?. Thanks
Sometimes you get clutch judder or difficult gear selection but not always. Usually the first signs are a low, irregular clonking noise usually at idle

What I eventually found was no power from fuse box to alternator due to fuseable link damaged... Wiring to alternator was damaged too...

like you I had to stop and investigate the difference in tensioner, what i think Gates should done is to put a Tech note in the box or kit to say that its a new type of tensioner and to tighten it to the correct spec, turn counter clockwise until the marker lines up, shame on you "Gates" would save a lot of wasted time....

I've a vw t30 2l transporter CAAC , with an actuator fault but it's a different actuator. Mine doesn't have an electric plug on top, just a vacuum pipe. Is it the wrong turbo fitted?
Probably just an earlier model. The vacuum only units are more reliable

Mine stopped working when i hit a bumper, I'm sure the wires disconnected or broke. I will open and check, thanks old lad
